Sienna was very unsure. She wasn't sure if it was wise to face the trouble head-on instead of avoiding it.

First of all, although she is surrounded by a group of heroes, none of these heroes have received any real training.

"Glamour Woman" seems to be the only one who knows what she's doing, probably because she previously patrolled with "Silver Fox".

What about the rest?

"Hindsight" seems to be only thinking about his own wallet, "The Killer" looks a bit reckless, and "The Cheetah" is just a bit cowardly.

Teddy was the only person Sienna trusted, which is probably why she held onto Teddy's hand tightly when they ran alongside the others.

She could have refused, she could have turned and left. If anyone asked her about it later, she would have admitted that turning and leaving was the wisest thing to do.

But peer pressure, a sudden sense of urgency, and the surge of adrenaline left her no time to think about what she was doing.

They turned a corner and the line slowed down.

At first glance, this street seems perfectly ordinary.

Vehicles were parked along the street, and a few people were walking around. On one side of the street were shops, and on the other side was a protruding rock with a wide sidewalk running through it.

This is a pretty nice place in Eau Clare, though it's a bit old.

A very ordinary Onda Ivey car, about the size of a small house, was parked in the middle of the road.

Its wheels spanned the road on both sides, wider than the distance between two people standing side by side, and the roof was about three meters high.

"What the hell?" said Charm Girl.

“Size manipulation,” the leopard said confidently, she and the killer being the only two who were clearly not breathing.

In hindsight, he pointed to a shop a little in front of the huge car and said, "A jewelry store."

Sienna looked at the shop; it wasn't a large place, sandwiched between two other shops, both of which were high-end clothing stores.

At first she didn’t notice anything amiss, but then she noticed a small row of railings carefully placed next to a glass shop window on the sidewalk next to the building.

The shop itself has no windows in front.

“Oh no,” said Charm Girl, “I have to call and report this!” She frantically started pulling out her phone.

“Let’s go,” said hindsight.

“They might have hostages!” Charm Girl whispered behind him.

“It was just one guy, and he wasn’t holding any hostages,” Hindsight said.

"How did you know?" Charm Girl asked.

Hindsight paused, looking at the tall woman. Although his face was completely covered by bandages and goggles, Sienna could see the disbelief on his face. "Because I can foresee the future?"

"Oh...right. I'll call and report it." She turned to the side and held the phone to her ear.

The others, including Sienna, seemed to be at a loss.

“Alright,” said hindsight, “we need to split up. I’m not good at brute force. I think… Boss, you’re the same as me, right? You can teleport people, right?”

“Yes—yes,” Sienna said, “it can only teleport to Ursa Minor.”

“Then let’s send Little Bear and Leopard in. They’re both fast and powerful. Killer, you’ll be in charge of providing support from the middle.”

In hindsight, he waved his hand to the side, and a baton sprang out of his sleeve, extending to its full length. "Let's go!"

There's no time for arguing, refuting, or doing anything else.

Teddy let out a laugh that was both excited and unsettling, stretched his arms out to the sides in a "T" shape, and dashed across the street with his short legs.

Leopard just sighed and rushed out after Teddy.

The woman was very fast. Although she wasn't as ridiculously fast as some speeders, she ran like an Olympic athlete, overtaking Teddy in a second and reaching the shop before everyone else.

Just as the leopard was about to get close, a bunch of spinning shards of glass flew out of the shop, then turned into six-foot-long blades. The speed hero narrowly dodged them, and the blades shattered on the ground.

A ladder extended from the front of the building, and a person was holding onto the end of the ladder. Then the entire ladder shrank.

The villain (if he really is a villain) landed on the road, rolled over, and then jumped up again.

Sienna only had time to glance at his attire.

That outfit was really nothing special.

He was wearing ripped jeans, a construction worker's belt, and sturdy-looking steel-toed boots.

His face was completely covered by a motorcycle helmet, and he was wearing a jacket. If it weren't for the large off-white cushion tied to his chest with several chains, the jacket might have looked pretty cool from a punk style perspective.

He was a rather short man, which made his outfit look a bit comical, and frankly, quite cheap.

[Ordinary People]

[Troublemaker, Level 1]

The little man stood frozen in the middle of the street, looking at the people standing around him, these people dressed in strange clothes.

"I'm a top predator!" Teddy roared as he charged at him.

The man ran forward, pulled something out of his pocket, and flung it forward, transforming it into a full-size electric scooter.

The little man skillfully leaped onto the scooter seat and then twisted the throttle to its maximum.

Sienna watched helplessly as Teddy turned into a bear, but her sister's first attack completely missed the man.

The cheetah woman started to give chase, but the scooter was incredibly fast.

Then, without warning, the killer charged forward, flames erupting from his clothing. At the same time, the armor on his fists expanded outwards, crackling, until it became twice its original size.

Sienna saw the little man's eyes widen as he tried to jump off the scooter.

The killer's fist slammed into the connection between the scooter's front wheel and the frame, accompanied by the crunching sound of breaking plastic.

The little man screamed as he flew out.

The cushion tied to his chest burst open, turning into a full-size mattress with yellow stains and other dirt on it.

The mischievous boy bounced off the cushion he had always worn around his neck and rolled off onto the street.

He was only ten feet away from Sienna.

"Sisters Teleport: Teddy!" Sienna shouted.

Just as the little guy got up and was about to run away again, Teddy appeared in front of him in her majestic grizzly bear form.

"Soviet Strike!" Teddy roared, straightening his hind legs and punching the little man in the face.

The little man flipped over, landing headfirst with a heart-wrenching thud.

[Action Rewards!]

[You have earned the following reward for defeating a villain through teamwork:]

[+1 skill slot!]

A moment later, his legs slammed to the ground with a thud. For a moment, Sienna was genuinely worried that he was dead, until the man groaned and tried to roll over.

"Don't touch him," hindsight advised. "I haven't seen clearly whether his ability works on people. I think it probably doesn't, but it's better to stay away just to be safe."

Sienna nodded, walked over to Teddy, and patted her side. It felt a little strange to casually pet a bear so much heavier than herself, but it was still Teddy, after all.

"Did I do a good job?" Teddy asked.

Sienna nodded quickly. "Very good."

The little man groaned again and reached for his helmet. Charismatic Superwoman quickly ran over.

"Don't!"

The thief stopped and muttered something.

“The police will be here soon. Unless you want your identity to be known everywhere, I suggest you wear a helmet. We’ll call an ambulance soon,” Charm Girl said. “There are many of us, and you’re all alone. Don’t do anything rash.”

Hindsight was humming a tune. He seemed quite happy, even standing on tiptoe. "This adds a nice touch to what would otherwise be a boring afternoon."

The Killer and the Cheetah Woman approached. "I felt pretty useless there," the Cheetah Woman said.

“You scared him so much he ran away, though he did it in a rather pathetic way. You did your part,” the Killer said. He was rubbing his fist; the armor had returned to its normal size. “Did you get anything out of it?”

“Yes,” said the leopard, “but I feel unworthy of it.”

“Take it. Getting the reward early is important.” The killer glanced at the street. The large vehicle blocking the road was shrinking, and the people who had been hiding were coming out to watch, though they kept their distance. “We’ve made quite a mess,” he said.

"No way," said hindsight. "Apart from this idiot, no one else was injured, and apart from some broken glass and such, there wasn't any major property damage. That's the point of having insurance. Besides, this is a jewelry store. They were practically waiting for something to happen."

Charismatic Superwoman shook her head. "Well done, everyone. We might have to take statements, so this patrol is over for now. Shall we stay here for a bit? I'll go get some drinks or something from upstairs."

“I was just thinking of getting an iced one,” the killer agreed.

“It has to be a drink that can be consumed in public places where there are children,” Charm Girl said, pointing to Teddy.

"Can I have some vodka?" Teddy asked.

Seeing the expression on Charm Girl's face, Sienna couldn't help but chuckle softly. Maybe...maybe being a hero isn't so bad after all.

Just then, the little man spoke. He actually started crying, his chest heaving and convulsing. "They said everything would be alright. They said I would be safe."

"Who said that?" the killer asked.

"Perhaps we shouldn't have..." Hindsight spoke up. But he didn't specify what they shouldn't have done.

“That cabal. They said I’d do a good job,” the nobody said.

Sienna felt a sense of foreboding.
