She looked at her sisters, those many newly acquainted sisters, jumping and laughing.

The scene was a bit overwhelming, but at the same time… it wasn't? She wasn't nervous, nor was she on the verge of panic. She simply sat there, watching her sisters enjoy themselves. They interacted with each other, but didn't include her, because she was new and didn't know everyone yet.

She wasn't quite sure how to describe the feeling in words, but she knew exactly what it was: envy.

It wasn't extreme envy, it's just... Teddy had one arm around the neck of one of Trinity's clones, ruffling her hair with his knuckles. Another Trinity was nibbling at Teddy's calf, while yet another was struggling to pull his arm away, trying to break free. Teddy was yelling "Rabies! Rabies!" at the whole room, but occasionally he couldn't help but burst into laughter, interrupting his shouts.

Nearby, Athena and Maple Leaf sat close together, whispering and occasionally giggling. Maple Leaf was fiddling with a small gadget, like a remote control. She would occasionally hand it to Athena, who would examine it and then return it.

She had no idea what they were doing, but they were all engrossed in it together.

Meanwhile, she sat at the other end of the sofa, only a few centimeters away from the others, but at that moment that distance felt incredibly far.

It wasn't just a physical distance. She... was different from her sisters. They all seemed younger. Energetic, boisterous, and quite comical, but in a way that was funny. She felt that way too, just perhaps not as intensely as they did. If she wanted to, she could be comical too, but it would feel... deliberate, not natural.

She wasn't sure if she was ready to do that. But if she wanted to fit in, perhaps she had to.

She desperately wanted to fit in.

"Hey."

She looked up and saw her only older sister, Sienna, approaching, and smiled. Sienna was holding two cans of soda, both unopened and slightly damp on the outside. "Should I move over a bit?" she asked.

“Just move a little bit.” Sienna said, sitting down next to her and handing her a can of soda. “Here you go. I don’t know what you like to drink yet. This is orange juice flavored. Teddy and Athena don’t like it, but Maple and Trinity do.”

"Oh. Thank you." She took the soda, its surface icy to the touch. She pulled the tab, smelled it, and took a sip. The soda was bubbly and sweet… She wasn't sure if she'd immediately liked the taste, but it wasn't bad either.

“We need to get a bigger sofa,” Sienna muttered. The two were already sitting close together, and there was only enough space left on the sofa for either Teddy or Trinity to squeeze in.

“I can help you move in.” She said, raising one arm and bending it slightly, her biceps bulging slightly. “Being strong isn’t my superpower, but I think I’m naturally quite strong.”

“Don’t say that to Teddy,” Sienna said softly with a smile. “She’ll be jealous.”

"Then I'll keep it a secret, okay?"

Sienna nodded, looking her up and down. "Well... I think this leads to a safe topic. Would you like to talk about your superpowers?"

"Oh, sure, we can talk. Would you like to see my stats panel?"

Sienna thought for a moment and nodded. "Of course. But if you don't mind, tell me about it too."

She made a gesture in front of her, even though she knew it was completely unnecessary. But it felt right to do it, and soon a small floating screen appeared for her sister to view.

[Name: ??? Isabella]

[Faction: Villain, Sister]

[Alias: None]

[Level: Level 1]

[Ability: Northern Fortress]

[Powerful Antlers: Level 1]

Energy Bar: 0

Skill Upgrade: 0

Skill Slots: 0

Sienna looked at it and sighed. "We really need to give you a name. I don't like having a sister without a name. It just... doesn't feel right."

“I can think of a few names!” Teddy shouted. She was still wrestling with Trinity. “How about Lenin?”

“That’s a boy’s name,” Sienna pointed out.

"And Marx?"

“I… don’t think it will work.” Sienna rejected the suggestion.

She wasn't entirely sure if the name was good or not, so she wasn't upset that it was rejected. "Would you like to see my skills? Actually, there's nothing special about them."

“I really want to see,” Sienna said.

【Powerful Deer Antlers】

Northern Fortress

[Level 1: Showcases the formidable power of the North—unbreakable, unstoppable, and indomitable. No cooldown.]

"I'm not entirely sure what this is for," Sienna admitted after reading the description on the screen.

“This allows me to summon antlers when I need them, and I can control their movement. I feel like no matter how hard others try, most things can't move my antlers,” she said, a hint of pride in her voice. She knew that the power of the antlers might not be immediately apparent, and perhaps her sisters' superpowers were more practical, but her abilities were not to be underestimated.

“I understand. Then we definitely need to do some superpower tests. That should be interesting. I think Sam and some of his men will want to see it too. She seems very interested in superpowers, while I'm not so interested.”

She nodded. The superpower test sounded interesting. It would give her a chance to showcase her abilities and impress her family. Although she was currently surrounded by her family, she still felt a little out of place.

“Hmm, Northern Fortress,” Sienna murmured. “Hey, what do you think of a name themed around the Arctic?”

“For example… Snow?” Maple Leaf suddenly poked her head out and joined the discussion.

"Well, my skin is fair enough, so I guess it barely fits," she said, looking at her forearm. "But my hair color doesn't quite match."

“We’re not going to name our new little sister ‘Cold,’ ‘Freezing,’ or God help us, ‘Slush,’” Athena said.

“I like the name ‘Snow Mud’,” Trinity said.

"Then you can call yourself that," Athena said irritably.

Trinity—now "Snow Mud"—blinked in confusion, tears welling in all six eyes. "But I am Trinity."

“No, you’re not, Snowball,” Teddy said.

“Girls,” Sienna warned, “You’re still Trinity, not Snowball. Nobody’s called Snowball.” Sienna sighed. “Maybe a nicer name would be better. Like… I don’t know, Aurora?”

She perked up. "Aurora?"

“It’s like the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis),” Sienna explained. “It’s a very beautiful light that changes in the atmosphere. I saw it once when we went camping in late autumn. It was truly spectacular when I saw it in person.”

“I like this name,” she said.

“Really? Hmm… Alright then.” Sienna smiled. “Welcome to our family, Aurora Isabella.”

“Aurora Isabella!” Trinity cheered.

“Aurora Isabella!” Teddy called out, finally freeing herself from Trinity’s grasp. The little girl excitedly raised her hands above her head.

They began chanting her new name in unison, quickly fading into a long, jumbled string of syllables, but Aurora didn't mind. It felt good. Silly, but still wonderful.

The party continued. It wasn't large, but it was still lively. Maple Leaf turned on the TV, tuned to a channel playing loud music, and then Athena pulled Maple Leaf into a passionate but somewhat uncoordinated dance. Trinity quickly joined in.

Aurora remained by her eldest sister's side, but she no longer felt neglected as before. She now had a name. She was a member of this quirky yet lively family.

What about that lingering worry in her heart? That worry about whether she would be accepted? She began to think that it might be silly.

“Alright, I think I need to make something to eat. I can’t let you guys just eat sweets. Even for me, that would be too irresponsible,” Sienna said.

“I think I can help,” Aurora said.

“I’d also… uh, help?” Maple Leaf suggested.

So she found herself in the kitchen with her two sisters, without a group of people around. Although she had to search through every drawer and cabinet when looking for something, which was a bit chaotic, she still felt good.

Aurora began to realize that it wasn't just the lively moments that were enjoyable. These quiet little moments also had their meaning. If these moments had meaning, then perhaps this lost moose girl could also find her place here.
