Sienna turned to look at Rattles, then met Maple Leaf's gaze.

Her little sister was running towards her desperately, clutching their ace tightly to her chest.

It was a black cylindrical object covered with dials and buttons, and a flashing LED light on top. Of course, there were also a few stickers on it.

Sienna wasn't sure if the dinosaur stickers were decorative or an essential part of the device's proper functioning, but either way, she wasn't going to find out.

"I got it!" Maple Leaf said breathlessly as she approached, holding the device high.

Sienna nodded. Now they could put their plan into action.

This wasn't exactly a well-thought-out plan. They spent some time discussing how to win over Ruttles.

Sienna suspected that this villain was more powerful than any of her sisters.

He is not afraid to engage with experienced heroes, nor is he afraid to confront them near the League of Legends headquarters.

She doesn't expect to win in a direct confrontation.

Rattles is neither superhumanly strong nor indestructible, but his abilities make him virtually untouchable.

But Luttels was all alone, while they had maple leaves.

"Just one press?" Sienna asked again for confirmation.

Maple nodded vigorously. "The red button! It should work over a wide area." She then handed the anti-vibration device to Sienna.

Sienna took it, fiddled with it between her hands for a moment, and then patted Maple Leaf on the head.

“Thanks,” she said. “Go to the back and stay with Trinity, just in case. Do you have anything to tie him up?”

“I have it.” Maple Leaf nodded vigorously. She patted the pocket of her lab coat, which looked stuffed full.

Sienna refocused her attention on the fight. Ruttles was still arguing with the people who had come out of the bar.

He was distracted, which was perhaps understandable. Teddy lay sprawled on the ground, struggling to get up.

Sienna gripped the anti-vibration device tightly, feeling its contours embedding into her palm.

The noise from the crowd coming out of the bar grew louder and louder, a cacophony of discontent. Even Ruttles seemed to shrink back in fear from the boos.

She walked towards him and stopped when she entered his range of power.

She felt that his abilities had no fixed range, but she suddenly felt herself go from being steady and calm to trembling slightly all over.

She suddenly remembered something. Her father had an old acoustic guitar, and for a time Sienna had wondered if learning to play the guitar might inadvertently help her make friends.

The vibration she felt at that moment was somewhat similar to the warm resonance that the guitar emitted when she hugged it tightly.

Now is not the time for hesitation or indecision. Opportunity knocks but once.

She pressed the button on the anti-vibration device with a "click." Instantly, the device emitted a low hum, so faint as to be almost inaudible.

Sienna saw that the asphalt pavement, which had been undulating due to Lutells's ability, came to a standstill almost immediately.

It's now.

"Plan B, Round Two!" Sienna shouted.

Teddy was getting up from the ground and roaring again. This time, the sound echoed strongly, and the vibration damper did not dampen the roar.

Teddy roared and charged aggressively toward Ruttles.

Rattles turned around and stomped his foot hard.

He had barely had time to look down at his feet in dissatisfaction when Teddy bumped into them with his shoulder.

Sienna had never seen a grizzly bear use its shoulder to ram someone, but this scene was quite shocking.

Lutters coughed and fell to the ground with a thud.

He tried to stand up, but Teddy stomped one foot on his chest and pressed down hard, his finger-long claws digging into his shirt.

"Don't move," Teddy said.

Maple Leaf rushed forward and pulled out zipper straps and other restraint tools from the bulging pockets of her lab coat.

She had only tied Lutells' hands halfway when Lutells chuckled.

"Do you think this can trap me?" he sneered.

“Shut up,” Teddy yelled.

“It’s over, Rattles,” Sienna declared, gripping the resonator tightly as if it were a trophy. “You underestimated us. You thought you could just swagger in, and then—”

She was interrupted by a slight buzzing sound.

Maple Leaf stopped to stare, but Sienna reacted faster.

She rushed over, grabbed Maple Leaf by the shoulder, and pulled her away from Ruttles.

Just in time. The villain twisted his body and kicked Teddy in the chest. It shouldn't have caused any harm.

How could you kick a big bear in the chest from such a terrible angle?

But his feet were buzzing, and he looked more like a blurry shadow. Sienna saw the fur on Teddy's chest being kicked and scattered.

Teddy grunted, then suddenly lowered his head and opened his mouth wide to bite.

Ruttles stopped shaking, but then there was a loud bang, and Teddy was thrown backward, losing a large patch of fur on his chest.

At the same time, Lutters was pushed in the opposite direction by the reaction force, his back scraping against the asphalt road, and he slid out of Teddy's attack range.

"No!" Sienna shouted, running towards Rattles as fast as she could.

She wasn't sure what she wanted to do when she ran up to him—maybe kick him?

None of that matters anymore. Rattles groaned as he stood up.

His angry glare at Sienna made her stop in her tracks.

Then Rattles ran toward her, and Sienna found herself only able to back away.

But the retreat wasn't fast enough.

The villain suddenly swung a palm at her, his entire arm vibrating and buzzing.

The palm struck her chest, and Sienna gasped, feeling the air being violently forced out of her lungs.

She saw stars before her eyes, and then she saw the gray sky above.

"Boss!" Trinity roared. A scream erupted from the crowd as she charged toward Ruttles.

Sienna wanted to tell her to stop and not to act impulsively, but at that moment she couldn't breathe; the sharp pain in her chest made her feel like she was on fire.

She gasped for breath, finally managing to take a deep breath before rolling over and lying face down on the ground. The ground was shaking.

Sienna looked up.

Lutells easily deflected Trinity's attack.

With a casual backhand swing, he knocked Trinity senseless, and the ground began to shake again. The shock absorber lay on the ground to the side, clearly crushed.

Ruttles cursed as Trinity bit his hand, drawing blood. "You're annoying," he spat.

Just then, a beer bottle exploded above Lutters' head, and shards of glass rained down on him.

Luttles bent forward to shield his head, then turned towards the bar. More people emerged from the bar, men and women in leather jackets, clearly displeased with the scene before them.

Another bottle flew over Lutters' head and shattered on the road behind him.

Rattles hesitated, weighing his options. His gaze shifted between Sienna (who was now standing with Maple Leaf's support), her other sisters, and the crowd.

There was also Trinity still clinging tightly to one of his boots, gnawing at it desperately.

He roared in fury, his legs trembling violently, and kicked Trinity away. Trinity turned into smoke upon impact and reappeared next to another version of himself. "This isn't over yet," he shouted, "This is my city. Whether the fools living here like it or not."

Rattles strode toward the bar, his movements causing the air to hum and the crowd to scream.

The glass shattered, and the bar sign wobbled off its frame and fell to the ground, scaring motorcyclists into scattering in all directions.

He walked toward a row of parked motorcycles, then cursed again, turned and rushed into a nearby alley.

Sienna tried to stand up, but the pain in her chest intensified, so she gave up. "Are you alright?" Maple asked.

"I...I'm fine," Sienna said, panting.

Teddy transformed back into human form and staggered over, looking somewhat drunk and disoriented. She immediately bent over and vomited on the sidewalk.

“Oh, this is not good,” Maple Leaf said.

“Teddy.” Sienna staggered over. She gently patted Teddy’s head, which soothed her a little.

Hopefully, this would offset the damage from Laterus's attack. "Why... uh, why didn't it work?" Sienna turned to ask Maple.

Maple Leaf swallowed hard. "I think it worked, but not for him? Hmm. It stopped the external vibrations, but not the internal ones."

“Hmm,” Sienna replied. She thought the explanation made sense.

"Hey boss, are you alright?" Sam jogged over and asked.

Sienna nodded, still unsure if she could stand up straight, her chest throbbing with sharp pain.

She looked around. Her sisters quickly gathered around her. Trinity looked disheveled, but otherwise seemed alright.

Athena and Maple Leaf were unharmed, and Teddy next to her looked much better. It seemed she herself was the most seriously injured.

"Do you think we should go to the hospital?" Sam asked.

“I really don’t want to go,” Sienna said.

She'd already had a bad day, and she didn't want to have to deal with unfamiliar nurses and doctors examining her, poking and prodding her, and asking her sensitive questions, especially in a crowded ward or emergency room.

The streets were a mess. Broken glass was everywhere, the sidewalks were cracked, and there were several potholes in the road.

It all stemmed from a battle that might have lasted less than a minute or two.

She didn't want to explain all of this to the police.
