They returned home before the sisters finally started to wilt.

Sienna breathed a sigh of relief; the energy her sisters were displaying was a bit too much, and even though it was understandable that they might be more energetic than usual, it still made her feel a little overwhelmed.

As soon as they got home, Sienna immediately had her sisters take turns showering in the bathroom, while she prepared changes of clothes for them.

The sisters didn't complain much about it, but Sienna secretly cursed the drawer for being too small.

As for clothes, Sienna doesn't have many of her own, but her favorite jeans and loose hoodies take up a lot of space and are often crammed together with her sisters' clothes.

Soon, very soon, they would have to find a new place to live. After all, it wasn't very healthy for everyone to be crammed into one room.

When everyone had finished showering and yawns filled the air, Sienna sat cross-legged on a chair, letting Maple sit on her lap, allowing her to freely manipulate the beaver girl's still-wet hair.

“So,” Sienna said, “has anyone improved any skills this time?”

After the chaos of the day, her "Queen" questline made progress, rewarding her with a new skill slot.

She also completed several other small tasks, earning a total of three skill upgrade points.

Considering the risks they had taken, it didn't feel like a very generous reward, but she wasn't going to complain. She needed to check her current tasks and pick out some new ones, but for the moment she was feeling a bit lazy about it.

The sisters answered in unison that they had improved. "Does anyone want to upgrade their skills before going to sleep?" Sienna asked.

"Who wants to go first?" Teddy asked.

“I remember Athena came first last time, right?” Sienna asked. She was only half sure. “So, shouldn’t Trinity go first this time?”

"Great!" Trinity cheered, but the three of them stopped halfway through their cheers and yawned.

Sienna didn't say anything, but she thought it looked rather cute. "So, want to see what new abilities you can gain? Then it'll be Maple's turn, followed by Teddy, and then Athena, right?"

She received a lot of nods in response, and no one objected.

When her sisters were tired, she found them much more adorable.

“Oh, wow,” Trinity said, “I’ve gained two new skills and lots of skill points.”

"Two?" Teddy said. "I only got one."

“She’s been kidnapped,” Athena said. “Maybe that will help?”

Teddy snorted. "Please, if I wanted to be kidnapped, that would be easy."

"Girls, please don't let yourselves get kidnapped on purpose just to earn some extra credit," Sienna said. Perhaps she didn't actually prefer her sisters looking exhausted.

“I’ve acquired my first skill,” Trinity said. “Would you like to see both skills at the same time, or one at a time?”

“Yes, we can look at them one by one,” Sienna said.

Trinity nodded, then grinned. "This skill will make me much better at things like reconnaissance. Look!" She demonstrated her new skill, summoning a screen large enough for everyone to see clearly.

“Ah,” Sienna said. She had one more skill to unlock, but for now it was like a buffer between her and her sisters. “I can wait until tomorrow,” she said.

Athena frowned at her, and Sienna immediately felt a sharp pain in her stomach, as if she were walking onto a stage with a thousand eyes staring at her.

“Athena,” she warned.

"Oh dear," said Athena.

"Well... alright, let's see what skill I got," she said. After all, it's fair. Besides, spending more time familiarizing herself with the new skill might help her figure out how to use it.

Sienna put the maple leaf down, turned off the light, and went to bed. At least she wouldn't feel cold at night, with a bunch of snoring little girls beside her.
