“Alright,” Sienna said, “I need to set some rules first, otherwise everything will become chaos again.” “Who wants to go first?”

The sisters looked at each other, then each clamored to go first. The scene was just as Sienna had hoped—chaotic and noisy.

“No, stop arguing,” Sienna said. “Let’s take it one at a time. Last time… I remember last time Teddy came first, right? How about Trinity comes first this time, and then Teddy comes last?”

“But then I’d be in the middle twice,” Athena said.

Sienna nodded. "Alright then. Athena first, then Trinity, and finally Teddy." She pointed to Teddy, who was about to complain, "Teddy, you went first last time, so this is fair."

Athena grinned and walked over to Sienna. Before Sienna could react, Athena jumped up and sat on her lap. "Alright," she said, "I'm going to unlock my new skill."

Sienna was momentarily at a loss for what to do with her hands, but finally decided to pat Athena on the head, which seemed to make the owl girl extremely happy. "Do your best," Sienna said.

Athena bit her tongue, staring intently ahead, then smiled. "Done!" she said. Then, to Sienna's further dismay, Athena began to giggle. "Oh, this skill is amazing. Come on, want to see it?" She raised her hand, summoning a blue-glowing cube in the air, displaying detailed information about her new skill.

As Sienna read the skill description, her worry and fear grew stronger. She loved her sisters dearly, truly loved them, but to give any of them the ability to read minds… it was clearly a terrifying idea. However, of all her sisters, Athena was the most responsible and mature.

A gasp came from behind her, and she looked at Athena, who was smiling. "You think I'm more mature than everyone else?" she asked. "Did you hear that? I'm better than all of you!"

"What's the use of this skill?" Teddy asked.

"I can read minds now!" Athena said.

Teddy nodded. "Pretty cool. So what am I thinking about now?"

Athena jumped off Sienna's lap and stared intently at Teddy. "You weren't thinking about anything. Your mind is completely blank."

Teddy puffed out his chest. "My thoughts are too complicated for someone as stupid as you to understand."

"I didn't say that."

“Girls,” Sienna quickly interrupted them to prevent the argument from escalating. She knew it was just postponing the inevitable quarrel, but a few more minutes of peace were worth it.

"My turn!" Trinity cheered. All three of her bodies tried to sit on Sienna's lap, but there were simply too many of them for Sienna's legs to fit. One of her bodies ended up sitting on the ground, while Sienna was left scrambling around as the other two Trinity's bodies used her as a chair. "Alright, let me unlock my super awesome new skill!"

“I’ll do my best,” Sienna said.

Trinity's three heads nodded, then she focused. "Done!" she said. She raised her hand, and a blue cube appeared in front of her.

Users can exchange items between different bodies simply by placing them in shared and similar containers.

[Cooling time: 1 hours]

Sienna glanced at the skill description, trying to understand its meaning. "Does this mean you can... teleport things between your different bodies?"

“Yes,” Trinity said, “Want to see?”

Sienna looked around, looking for something she wouldn't be too upset about losing. She saw a pen on the table and handed it to Trinity.

One of the Trinity sitting on her lap jumped up, and the one on the ground stood up too. "Okay, sister, look," said the Trinity holding the pen. She put the pen in her pocket. The Trinity next to her reached into her pocket and took the pen out.

The pen had indeed been moved from one Trinity to another, without any flash or obvious sign that it had changed places. "That's interesting," Sienna said.

She could imagine several uses for this skill. If combined with her "Sister Teleport" skill, she could summon one Trinity to retrieve something, and then another Trinity would teleport the item back to her.

Trinity could also use this skill to steal things and then teleport them to another version of herself in a safe location. If there's a Trinity in a safe place, this skill can also be used to hide evidence.

"I'm off to deliver bread!" Trinity cheered.

Or, Sienna thought to herself, Trinity might also waste her cooldown time teleporting some useless things.

“My turn!” Teddy said. She ran to Sienna, jumped onto her lap, her little legs dangling. “This is a piece of cake for me.”

Teddy blinked twice, and a new skill interface popped up.

She frowned as she looked at the interface. "But that doesn't mean I can't touch your head anymore, you know?"

"Hmm?" Sienna responded while checking the skill details.

It's a self-healing ability. And it seems to be somewhat related to Teddy's own natural healing abilities. This skill is still very powerful and practical. In a battle, Teddy would be their frontline fighter. It feels good to see that she doesn't take long to recover from her injuries.

However, Sienna still wanted to know exactly what constituted a "significant improvement." If it takes an ordinary person a month to recover from an injury, would Teddy be back to normal in two weeks? Or even faster?

She wasn't sure if she really wanted to test the skill.

"This skill seems really powerful," Sienna said.

Teddy grinned. "Yeah! Summon another little sister quickly, then I can go to sleep earlier! I can't wait to use my new skill."

“Uh,” Sienna said. But Teddy wasn’t entirely wrong.

Are you willing to spend a skill slot to unlock the "Sister Summon" skill?

"Yes." Sienna answered almost without hesitation this time.

“I’ve unlocked the skill,” Sienna said.

Her sisters cheered. "Great, boss! Use it!" Teddy said.

Sienna took a deep breath. She was certain it was a terrible idea, but that didn't stop her from saying, "Create sisters."

Her superpowers never make a big fuss when they activate. One second there are only three sisters in the room, the next there are four.

The new girl stood in the center of the room, just a step in front of Sienna. She had messy, frizzy brown hair and wore denim overalls and a white T-shirt, with a white lab coat over them.

The girl stared blankly at Sienna.

Sienna looked back at her.

The girl's face turned completely red, starting from the tips of her ears, slowly spreading to her cheeks, and then climbing up her freckled nose.

“Hey!” Teddy shouted.

The girl gave a soft cry, turned around, and seeing so many eyes staring at her, started running around Sienna's chair, as if trying to escape her sisters. Or rather, that's what she intended to do. But halfway there, she tripped for no apparent reason, falling face down to the ground, limbs outstretched, her tail swishing behind her.

"Oh dear," Sienna said, standing up and quickly running to the girl's side, kneeling down beside her.

Sienna's other sisters also gathered around, but seeing the girl peeking at them from under her messy hair, Sienna gestured for them to step back.

“Let’s give the new baby some space, okay?” she said to the younger sisters. Then, in an even gentler and more careful tone, she asked the new baby, “Are you alright? Are you hurt?”

The girl shook her head, then scrambled to her feet. She then tripped over her own lab coat again.

Everyone else laughed, but Sienna gave them a warning look.

“It’s okay,” Sienna said. “Take your time.”

“Okay,” the girl said softly. Her voice was so soft that Sienna wasn’t sure if she had actually heard her or if it was just her imagination.

“I think she’s a beaver girl,” Teddy said. “Look at her tail, it’s so flat.”

Teddy was right. A tail was indeed peeking out from under the girl's white coat—a flat, brown tail that just reached a little past her knees.

“Is that so?” Sienna asked.

The girl blushed and nodded twice.

She still didn't say anything. Sienna thought she might have found the shyest sister ever. "Are you shy?" Sienna asked.

The girl's eyes welled up with tears, and she nodded again, but only slightly.

“It’s okay,” Sienna said. “I’m pretty shy myself, but it doesn’t really…help much. I know what extreme shyness feels like—though I’m better now—but I don’t know how to help others overcome their fear of speaking.” “Let’s take it slow, okay?”

The girl nodded again. "Okay."

"Hmm... well... how about we introduce ourselves? Don't worry, you can come last. There's no pressure, okay?"
