“This could all be a bluff,” Sam suggested.

Teddy turned to look at Sienna, wanting to see her reaction.

Sienna strode off angrily, her brow furrowed and her face grim, just as she had done when she had warned Trinity not to rummage through the trash cans, only to catch her doing so herself. "Are we really going to take this risk? Did he say anything?" she asked.

Sam shook her head and waved her phone, as if to indicate that she hadn't received any reply. "Nothing. Sorry," she said.

Teddy then looked at Sienna.

Sienna had been restless all day ever since meeting that "Glamour Warrior" girl. Teddy didn't know what to do. If the "Glamour Warrior" were in their dorm right now, her girlfriends would definitely be overjoyed and beat her to a pulp.

But she wasn't here, so Teddy was a little lost.

"Do you think he'll speak?" Sienna asked.

They were talking about that odd-behaved guy with the small sword, the Magnificent Fabian. His villainous title really needs... a serious overhaul. Who's afraid of someone called "Magnificent Fabian"?

Teddy had assessed him and didn't think he was that capable. He hadn't even agreed to be Sienna's subordinate. "Why are we worried about this guy?" Teddy asked. "He's hardly a villain."

Sienna sighed. "Because he knows our situation, our base underground in the city. If they catch him and he tells everyone, we'll be in big trouble."

“Oh,” Teddy said. So he’s going to betray Sienna? Or maybe the heroes will use some high-sounding method to persuade him to reveal everything he knows. If that happens, Sienna’s plans will be completely ruined.

Sienna had been trying to take over the city for a long time, practically fighting for it all along. Teddy understood why she was annoyed at the possibility of losing all her hard work.

It's like you're lying in bed, ready to take a nice nap, when someone comes and pushes you off the bed, forcing you to wake up.

“Sienna, we need to think of something to deal with this,” Teddy said.

“Yes!” Trinity chimed in.

“I think so too,” Athena said.

Teddy nodded, pleased that her sisters were on her side. "We should beat them all up before those heroes even get a chance to catch that villain."

“Yes!” Trinity agreed again.

“I’m not sure if this method will work,” Athena said, “but I’m willing to give it a try.”

Sienna shook her head, but her subordinate Sam laughed. "I don't... wait... actually, this idea, although... well, it's pretty bad, I think it might work."

“Wait, really?” Sam asked.

“Going to attack heroes would be too stupid,” Sienna said. “Sorry, Teddy, I don’t think we’re that strong, and don’t forget, we don’t want people to think we’re the villains.”

She patted Teddy's head reassuringly, so even though Teddy's idea was rejected, he didn't feel too disappointed.

“But we can sabotage it. What if we try to steal the spotlight?” Sienna asked.

“Oh!” Sam said. She grinned. “I get it. You want us to go where Fabian is, and then take him down ourselves?”

“Or we could deliberately not capture him,” Sienna said, “and let him escape. If we do it cleverly, no one will know that we let him go on purpose. But I’d rather just call Fabian and have him cancel tonight’s plans.”

Sam checked his phone again. "He still hasn't replied."

Sienna took a deep breath. "Okay. Do you know what he's planning to do tonight?"

“I don’t know,” Sam said. “I don’t know how much money he got from the last bank robbery, but I think it was at least a few thousand dollars. Banks don’t just leave piles of cash lying around these days, you know? He might rob another bank, or maybe another jewelry store.”

“And those places are everywhere in the city,” Sienna muttered. She walked to her desk and unplugged her phone from the charger. “I’ll call Aleja Iakta. He’s spent a lot of time with Fabian, so he might know something.”

Meanwhile... girls, pack your combat gear.

Teddy grinned and jumped up. She was more than willing to obey the order. Packing her battle gear meant there would be villainous activity tonight.

She pulled her sundress out from under the bed, where it was safer, and then handed her teddy bear mask to Trinity. Meanwhile, another Trinity was emptying all her school supplies from her bag onto the floor; pencils were scattered everywhere, and books were open.

Then she started stuffing her combat gear into her backpack.

Teddy was already wearing shorts, so she changed into a T-shirt that could be worn under her sundress.

Athena's battle attire was a bit difficult to fit into her backpack; the leather jacket was hard to fold, so she ended up putting it in a separate bag.

While they were busy, Sienna paced back and forth in the room, speaking in a low voice to the person on the other end of the phone. Finally, she hung up. "I think I probably know where he's going," she said.

“Oh?” Sam looked up from his phone and asked. “I’ve been checking a ‘Cloak Watch’ website. There’s no sign of him yet.”

Sienna nodded. "The last place he robbed was right before closing time. He might do it again tonight. At least, I hope so. That way we'll have more time to try and contact him."

"So, where is he going?" Sam asked.

"Aleja Iakta said he talked to Fabian about games for a long time. He said Fabian might rob an electronics store. But I don't know which one."

“There’s only one worth robbing,” Sam said, “the ‘target station’ in the city center. There are a few other old shops, but they’re all too old. You wouldn’t get much money robbing them. I bet their cash registers are covered in cobwebs.”

“If he doesn’t rob that place, can we rob it?” Teddy asked.

Sienna shook her head. "No. I'll go get my combat suit. Actually... you guys wait outside first. I'll change now, and then put on a jacket outside." Everyone was ushered into the hallway, and Sienna then closed the door.

Sam scratched her chin and looked down at Teddy and her sisters, who were gazing up at her. "So, well, have you all brought everything?" she asked.

“I brought everything,” Teddy said.

"Are you sure? Because once we leave, we won't be able to come back. It would be terrible if we could only watch because we forgot to wear masks or something. Hmm... should we go to the restroom?"

"What's wrong with the restroom?" Teddy asked.

"Do you need to use the restroom?" Sam asked.

Teddy scoffed. "No need."

Her sisters also shook their heads.

"Are you sure?" Sam asked. "Are you 100% sure? Because if someone complains about needing to use the restroom after you go out in your combat gear, I'll go and convince Sienna to leave you at home next time."

“We’re not five-year-olds,” Teddy said. She crossed her arms and turned her head to the side. “But I think…maybe I can go to the bathroom for a bit.”

Sam rolled her eyes, opened her bedroom door, and threatened them menacingly, saying they'd be in big trouble if they dared touch her things. Teddy went in first, because she was the fastest and the most skilled.

When they all came out of the restroom, Sienna was already waiting for them in the hallway. She was wearing a coat, and Teddy suspected that the hood of her combat suit was tucked into one of the pockets. "Is everyone ready?" she asked.

“Ready,” Sam said.

"Alright, let's go."

"Any other plans besides showing up?" Sam asked.

“Get there before the ‘Charming Warrior.’ Make a big splash so Fabian backs down and you can do something smart, like replying to his texts,” Sienna said. They filed into the elevator, and Sam pressed the button for the first floor.

“If this trick doesn’t work, and we arrive just in time for a fight, then… then we’ll join in. Trinity, Athena, you’ll be in really useful then. I’m going to make those heroes dizzy.”

“I can do it,” Trinity said. “Sometimes I even get myself confused.”

Athena nodded. "Don't worry, Sienna."

"And what about me?" Teddy asked.

"I think you'll have to fight Fabian directly. You have to be extra careful, and make sure you don't actually hurt him. Do you think you can do it?"

“Sure!” Teddy said. “Don’t worry. I’m good at playing dirty tricks.”

The elevator dinged, and the group stepped out, ready to go out and teach those heroes a lesson.

Teddy couldn't wait any longer.
