The two maids beside him turned pale: "Help! Help!"

They were speaking their language, which Wan Ning couldn't understand, but she could guess the general meaning.

But she didn't care; she had planned to go on a killing spree today anyway.

Several guards rushed in, and seeing the scene, shouted as they charged forward: "Release the King!"

Wan Ning used her strength to snap the bastard's neck.

They threw the man towards them. The guards who weren't hit quickly stepped forward to check the king's aura and immediately screamed in alarm.

“He killed the king, so we killed him.”

The others were also filled with disbelief, and they rushed towards Wan Ning with their weapons.

Wan Ning sat on the highest throne, and when the others came close, she killed them all without much effort.

Now only Wan Ning and two maids remain in the tent.

They looked at Wan Ning with fear in their eyes, and when they saw her gaze directed at them, they thought she was about to attack.

"No, don't kill us." The voice trembled with fear.

Wan Ning said impatiently, "Be quiet."

The two quickly shut their mouths. Wan Ning waited for a while and finally heard the sound of many people's footsteps outside the tent.

A man dressed unlike any ordinary person walked in with his entourage.

The men following behind her were armed, their eyes filled with murderous intent as they looked at Wan Ning, ready to attack at any moment.

The leader first glanced at the king's corpse and the situation at the scene.

Then he cautiously asked, "What do you mean by this hostage from Great Yan? Is this the attitude of your Great Yan emperor?"

Wan Ning: "Enough nonsense. You either come at me all at once, or obey me."

The man thought she was joking; now that the king was dead, he had the best chance to take the throne.

Besides, with so many men under my command, why would I be afraid of not being able to defeat him?

Thinking of this, he waved to the people behind him: "Take him down."

Everyone, listen to my command! Grab your weapons and charge forward. He cautiously retreated to the side to assess the situation first.

Wan Ning looked at the person coming towards her, her expression remained unchanged.

I've just been riding in a carriage for a few days, so I'm stretching my muscles and playing with them.

He grabbed the nearest guard, snatched his weapon, and then slashed his artery, causing blood to spurt out.

For Wan Ning, killing a person is as easy as killing a chicken.

Then he swiftly dealt with the others as well, and in less than the time it takes to drink a cup of tea, all twenty-odd people had fallen.

There wasn't a drop of blood on Wan Ning's body. She slowly turned her gaze to the only man standing in the arena.

"Have you thought it through? Death or obedience?"

Wan Ning's emotionless voice, when it reached his ears, was like a death knell.

Although he was a little scared looking at the scene, he still rushed forward in the end.

"I will not obey you. You are alone. I do not believe you can defeat everyone."

Wan Ning lost her patience and suddenly shot the knife in her hand, which pierced through his neck.

She asked him one more question only to understand the situation here, as she needed someone to help her with errands.

Enough with all that nonsense, he should just die.

Seeing the man with his eyes wide open, dying with his gaze unclosed, the maid beside him trembled with fear, biting her lip so hard she dared not utter a sound.

Wan Ning looked over and asked, "Who else on your side is in charge?"

The two were too frightened to speak. Wan Ning waited for a while but still remained silent, her eyes gradually changing.

One of them noticed that she was getting impatient, so he quickly spoke up, his voice stammering, "I, our king has another subordinate."

Wan Ning: "Where is he?"

Logically speaking, such a big commotion should have been noticed by now. Could it be that they are far away?

The maid mustered her courage: "We'll take you to him."

She wished the general could kill him, but unfortunately, her wish was destined to remain unfulfilled.

Wan Ning had someone lead the way, and along the way, she killed anyone who resisted her until everyone was afraid and no one dared to make a move.

She took a silk handkerchief, wiped the blood splattered on her hands, and continued walking forward with the two maids.

Just then, a tall, burly man with a large beard led a group of men toward them, looking menacing.

There were probably over a hundred people, and they saw Wan Ning, who was clearly different from the people of Dai.

The bearded man spoke in a gruff voice: "So, you're the one who killed the king?"

Wan Ning nodded: "That's right."

The bearded man roared, "Take him down! I'll tear him to pieces!"

After he finished speaking, he first swung the knife at Wan Ning. Wan Ning watched as the knife was about to hit her, but she didn't even blink.

A slender hand slowly rose, grasped his arm, and with a slight exertion, the bearded man's arm broke.

All they heard was a click.

Just as the knife was about to fall to the ground, Wan Ning flicked her toes, and the knife was in her hand.

Before he could react, he was killed with a single blow.

“He killed the general, so we killed him to avenge him.”

The other people's weapons also came closer. Wan Ning took out a braid from her sleeve and swept it across. The people closest to her were whipped by the braid and flung away.

Then another group of people surrounded her. Wan Ning used her speed to weave through the crowd, and all she could see was people falling one after another.

Gradually, everyone became afraid to approach Wan Ning. They looked at her with such ease and fear in their eyes.

Wan Ning: "So, are you coming again?"

One person in the crowd mustered his courage and spoke up: "If we surrender, will you let us go?"

Of the hundreds of people, only a dozen or so remained, and they all knew they had no chance of winning.

Wan Ning nodded: "Okay."

It's not that I necessarily have to kill them all, since they pose no threat to me, the gap between us is too big, and I need someone to do things for me anyway.

Seeing her nod, the rest of the men wiped their sweat and breathed a sigh of relief: "We surrender."

More than a dozen people put down their weapons and knelt down before Wan Ning.

If I didn't want to reveal my cultivation level, it wouldn't have taken so long to deal with these people. I'll just treat this as a warm-up; it's been a long time since I've fought anyone.

Wan Ning led her men and eliminated all those who dared to disobey her; basically, anyone with any standing in the area was killed by her.

Looking at the remaining people, hundreds of them stood in front of Wan Ning with their heads down in fear, not daring to look up at this terrifying figure.

What happened tonight was beyond their imagination. So many people were no match for her. Was she even human?

Regardless of what they were thinking, Wan Ning asked directly, "Who among you is in charge?"

It took a while for someone in the crowd to step forward. He hesitated because he was afraid of being killed, since everyone with any power here had been killed.

Of the remaining people, only the one with the highest position managed to save his life by protecting himself.

Shi Mo: "It's me."

Wan Ning: "Alright, then you arrange all the affairs and come to see me again tomorrow."

Shi Mo: "Yes."

Wan Ning planned to find a place to rest.

"Take me to my resting place," he said, pointing to a maid who looked rather docile.
