My Mythical Path to Immortality in Another World

Chapter 89 Zhao Xuan Prepares to Turn Against Humanity

To put it bluntly, even with so many resources, it's impossible to build a complete Heavenly Court.

What could the Qin Emperor do when he could neither establish a celestial court nor leave Earth?

They lured them with benefits.

Therefore, the Great Qin Heavenly Court had nine imperial thrones, while ordinary heavenly courts only had five.

Having one more emperor means that the Heavenly Court can have one more human emperor or even a human emperor realm being.

Naturally, the more imperial positions a Heavenly Court has, the better its prospects and the more powerful it becomes.

It wasn't that Qin Shi Huang didn't want to establish more imperial thrones; it was simply that the will of Heaven wouldn't allow the Heavenly Court to have more imperial thrones.

The struggle between Heaven, Earth, and Man for the power to govern the world is, to put it simply, no different from the struggle for the throne.

The Great Dao is the founding emperor, the Primordial Saints are the founding heroes and kings of different surnames, and the Primordial Three Clans are the officials of the Primordial Saints' fiefdoms.

The three paths of Heaven, Earth, and Man represent the three princes, the five races of the Later Heaven represent the subjects, and the emperors of each race represent the officials.

The Heavenly Dao is the eldest son, born with the right to inherit the throne of the Great Dao.

But the Great Dao has only gone on expeditions to expand its territory; it hasn't died.

The Heavenly Dao is merely a regent, but it desires to directly inherit the throne of the Great Dao.

Therefore, Heaven cleansed the primordial deities, reclaimed military power, and eliminated the three primordial races, taking them back to their fiefdoms.

However, the innate deities were not idle either; they supported the two princes of the Earthly Path and the Human Path to contend with the Heavenly Path.

After gaining strength from the Earthly Path and the Human Path, they betrayed the Primordial Saints, and the combined power of the three paths forced the Primordial Saints to retreat into the Dao Ruins.

At this point, while the Way of Earth and the Way of Humanity could not rival the Way of Heaven in the imperial court, the Way of Heaven was powerless against them.

Then came the long war for legitimacy.

As for the Great Dao, it's actually no different from being an emperor. If no one fights for the throne, it seems to have no value, and the emperor won't be happy.

If the struggle for the throne causes chaos and brothers kill each other, the emperor will not be happy.

Therefore, the Great Dao decreed that the three could vie for the throne, but could not personally participate. Thus, the Heavenly Dao supported the acquired God Clan, the acquired Saint Clan, and the acquired Demon Clan; the Earthly Dao supported the acquired Ghost Clan; and the Human Dao supported the acquired Human Clan.

They used proxy wars to prove that their governing approach was correct.

The Great Dao is impartial and unbiased. The Heavenly Dao possesses innate laws and regulations, and therefore governs three of the five acquired races.

Although the Earthly Path and the Human Path govern the same race, the Earthly Path controls the reincarnation of living beings. All living beings in the world must be reborn after death. Whether they are beings of the Heavenly Path or beings of the Human Path, they must go through the cycle of reincarnation after death.

This gave the tunnels great convenience.

Humanity, on the other hand, holds the right to give all things true names. Only with true names can one gather fortune and unite scattered power into a single force.

There are 4.8 trillion stars in the sky, and apart from Earth, it is not suitable for life to survive.

However, after humans give stars their true names, stars can gather fortune and star gods, and then create star fields, transforming them into stars suitable for living beings.

This means that the human race can open up new battlefields at any time and control the pace of the battle.

Every Heavenly Court and every Underworld is a soldier who opens up new battlefields for humanity.

The principles of Heaven and humanity acknowledge this right, but will not allow the power of humanity to become too strong on this battlefield.

Therefore, the number of emperors in Heaven and the Underworld was limited to no more than nine.

The reason for limiting it to no more than nine is that the ten emperors of the Great Dao can guide the ten principles of the Dao.

There are still entrances to the Nine Palaces, but once the Ten Directions are established, the entire area will become the absolute domain of the Heavenly Court, an impenetrable fortress, and there will be no need for any fighting over it.

At that time, we can only watch as the Heavenly Court grows stronger and controls the entire world.

As for setting up the Ten Directions Grand Array with other Great Emperors, it's not that the human race doesn't want to, but rather that each Heavenly Court or Underworld is an independent entity with its own River of Fortune.

The fortunes of different Heavenly Courts and Underworlds are not connected, so even if a grand array of ten directions is set up, it is difficult to achieve perfect harmony, and there will still be flaws.

Zhao Xuan immersed his mind in the True Spirit, using its profound mysteries to continuously ponder a way to break the deadlock.

Saving Zhao Xuancheng is easy, but since he has already been feared by humanity, he must find a way to counterbalance humanity.

Although the Human Immortal Realm only has nine realms, those are the ultimate levels for beings born after birth, not the ultimate levels for cultivation.

Above the ninth realm is the tenth realm, which conforms to the rules of heaven and earth and is called the Dao-Harmony Realm.

The human and immortal realms have three thousand innate rules and twelve thousand nine hundred and sixty acquired rules.

The tenth realm of Dao Integration involves integrating one of the twelve thousand nine hundred and sixty acquired rules.

The eleventh realm, which combines the three paths of Heaven, Earth, and Man, is known as the Realm of Mastering the Dao.

The 12,960 acquired rules are controlled by the three paths of Heaven, Earth, and Man. By merging with the three paths of Heaven, Earth, and Man, one can control the acquired rules.

The twelfth realm, which merges with the Great Dao, is known as the Realm of Dao Fusion.

It integrates acquired rules into itself and controls innate rules.

This is the realm of the innate saints; they have all mastered at least one innate rule.

But this is still not the end of the cultivation.

The thirteenth realm can be called the Heavenly Dao Realm, the Earthly Dao Realm, or the Human Dao Realm, no matter what.

In short, this is the realm of the three paths of Heaven, Earth, and Man, and also an upgraded version of the Realm of Fusion.

Having fused the innate laws into one, he not only mastered several innate rules, but also touched upon the Creation rule among the three fundamental laws of creation, time, and space.

The fourteenth realm is naturally the Great Dao Realm, which involves mastering the three fundamental laws.

The primordial deities, before the Three Paths appeared, also governed the world in place of the Great Dao.

Therefore, the best among them have reached the Heavenly Dao Realm.

However, with the rule of Heaven, the Heavenly Dao Realm is no longer just a realm, but a rank or position.

After the emergence of the Heavenly Dao, the innate deities were left with only realms of attainment, but no official positions.

Therefore, the thirteenth realm was called the half-step transcendence realm by the innate saints, and the fourteenth realm was called the transcendence realm.

Zhao Xuan can barely be considered to be at the ninth realm, but his Human Realm is at the thirteenth realm, so he has no qualifications to face him head-on.

However, Zhao Xuan was unwilling to back down. Taking a step back would only lead to further retreat, just like the innate saints who retreated to the Dao Ruins.

The laws of Heaven, Earth, and Humanity govern this world. If you take a step back, they will take a step forward, gradually eroding you until they finally bring you under their complete control.

After much deliberation, Zhao Xuan came up with three ways to break the deadlock.

By using the Dao Ruins, one can completely conceal one's aura, and cannot form any karmic ties with the human realm until reaching the thirteenth realm.

The first and simplest method is to use the Dao Ruins to completely conceal one's aura. Until one reaches the thirteenth realm or masters the power of the limitless, one cannot form any further karmic connections with the human world.

As long as one cultivates to the thirteenth realm or masters the power of the limitless, the Great Dao will not be revealed, and the three paths of Heaven, Earth, and Man will be unable to harm one.

But some of these are unrealistic, or rather, they would take too long.

The second type is to condense time rules or space rules.

After all, the three fundamental rules of the three paths—Heaven, Earth, and Man—only encompass the rules of creation. As long as one condenses the rules of time or space, one can transcend the perception of the three paths.

This will also take a long time, not much faster than the first method.

That leaves the third method, which is somewhat feasible: aligning with the Dao and Earth Stars.

Earth is the foundation of the entire material world, and the material world is the foundation of the entire universe. Once Earth merges with the Dao, even the Great Dao would have to consider the consequences if it wanted to harm Zhao Xuan.

The innate deities merged their power into the Earth, which was actually driven by this same mentality.

If good and evil go unpunished, then Heaven and Earth must be biased.

The primordial deities helped the Great Dao to harmonize Yin and Yang, establish the Four Symbols, divide the Five Elements, and transform a chaotic world into a vibrant one.

As a result, when Heaven governs the world, the first thing it needs to eliminate are the innate deities.

Isn't this just a case of those in power being too selfish?

That's why Zhao Xuan had no reverence for the three paths of Heaven, Earth, and Man, or even the Great Dao.

They also did not hesitate to speculate about Sandaohe Avenue with the utmost malice.

However, Zhao Xuan also knew that the Great Dao and the Three Paths represented order, and even the worst order was better than no order at all.

Zhao Xuan does not consider himself the one who will establish a new order, so he will not rebel against heaven and earth under the guise of defying the heavens and the earth, but he will also not submit to the Great Dao and the Three Paths Order.

Zhao Xuan used the True Spirit to express his thoughts about the Earth Star that merges with the Dao.

Beings born after birth are not qualified to merge with the Dao; they can only borrow the rules, not control them.

Therefore, to attain the Dao, one must become a primordial being. For an acquired being to defy the primordial state, one must first condense a Dao Fruit, and then use the Dao Seed within the Dao Fruit to regenerate and nurture the primordial body.

They are called innate beings.

Therefore, in the ancient times, after the sages created the Primordial Ghost Race, the Primordial Demon Race, and the Primordial Human Race, the cultivation methods they passed down only had four realms: the Dao Seed Realm, the Dao Fruit Realm, the Creation Realm, and the Transcendence Realm.

Because the three innate races all possess innate bodies and are born with extraordinary talents to wield the power of rules, they do not need to condense the Three Treasures, purify their bloodlines, or gather magical power like the five acquired races.

Therefore, the rules can be directly condensed into a Dao seed, and then into a Dao fruit.

It's equivalent to starting cultivation directly from the eighth stage of the Acquired Realm, and after condensing the Dao Fruit, it's equivalent to the ninth stage of the Acquired Realm.

The Creation Realm refers to the condensation of the Dao Fruit of Creation, which allows one to control creation, equivalent to the tenth realm.

Then, with the help of the Creation Fruit, it undergoes a baptism and condenses into an innate body, evolving into an innate divine infant. The innate divine infant is equivalent to the eleventh realm.

After becoming a Primordial Saint, one can wield the Primordial Rules with the body of a Primordial Saint and evolve into a complete Primordial Saint body, equivalent to the twelfth realm.

Then, like the innate deities, they began to seek the path to transcendence.

In other words, if Zhao Xuan were to use his foundation as a Mythical Great Luo Immortal, he could condense a Dao Seed, or even a Dao Fruit.

But that would be too wasteful.

Since Zhao Xuan was going to switch cultivation methods anyway, he might as well condense his Human Emperor Dao cultivation into a Dao Fruit.

This way, there's no need to control the speed at which the clones condense.

After making up his mind, Zhao Xuan began to increase the speed at which his clones were formed.

The nine avatars of the human race are a very mysterious existence; they are not meant for cultivators to manipulate multiple entities simultaneously.

Instead, it is used to bear the cause and effect, so that practitioners are not tainted by cause and effect and can cultivate better.

The ability to condense clones is not a practice of the Human Emperor's Path, but rather a legacy left to humanity by the innate human race.

In essence, it was the innate deity who gave it to the innate human race, and the innate human race then left the human race with a backup plan to break free from the three paths. With nine avatars, they could bear all the cause and effect, and by emptying themselves of the cause and effect of the three paths, they could break free from the control of the three paths.

Of course, to truly escape the three paths, one needs sufficient power.

However, without cause and effect, the three paths cannot lock onto the cultivator unless they personally intervene, making it difficult to deal with the cultivator.

The Human Emperor's Path will automatically comprehend the Dharma Body, the Immortal Path will automatically comprehend the Dao Body, and the Buddhist Path will automatically comprehend the Golden Body.

However, that only utilizes the mysteries of the Dharma Body, the Dao Body, and the Golden Body, rather than condensing them into avatars.

Each of the nine clones contains four Heavenly Gang Divine Powers, and the nine clones together form the Thirty-Six Transformations of Heavenly Gang Divine Power.

After cultivating the Human Emperor Path to the Saint Realm, one can automatically comprehend the Dharma Body. Once in the Dharma Body state, one can use the four Heavenly Divine Powers contained within the Dharma Body.

These are respectively: transformation into a fetus, changing size at will, riding the clouds and mist, and seeing through obstacles.

The transformation of the embryo into a physical form and the combination of size and shape are the prototype of the Dharma of Heaven and Earth. The fusion of the two, including the insightful observations, constitutes the Dharma of Heaven and Earth at the level of immeasurable supernatural powers.

At that time, Zhao Xuan was using the Wuji version of the Flower Blooming Moment, along with the Strong Interaction Force Absolute Defense and the Black and White Yin-Yang Mysterious Light.

He lacked nothing in cultivation, defense, and offense, so he didn't care about these supernatural powers.

Not long ago, Zhao Xuan returned to his original body and mastered four more supernatural powers.

These are respectively: shifting stars and changing constellations, turning back the heavens and reversing the sun, summoning wind and rain, and dividing rivers into land.

Zhao Xuan wanted to condense the Dao Seed and the Dao Fruit. After he fully comprehended and upgraded the Thirty-Six Transformations of the Heavenly Gang and the Seventy-Two Transformations of the Earthly Fiends to the Boundless level, he could then condense the Dao Fruit of Creation.

Therefore, Zhao Xuan lifted the restrictions on his clones and began to cultivate them with the power of luck and faith.

Zhao Xuan knows all 108 kinds of supernatural powers, but while he knows them, it is not easy to condense them into supernatural power talismans and elevate them to the level of immeasurable supernatural powers.

Zhao Xuan was able to condense and elevate the Immobilization Divine Power to the level of Boundless Divine Power in a short period of time because he used the supreme power of the Five Elements to condense and enhance the Immobilization Divine Power.

The interaction of the five supreme elements—the mutual generation and restraint of their respective powers—elevated the immobilization technique to the level of immeasurable supernatural power.

The Law of Creation is one of the three fundamental rules, so even Zhao Xuan's Boundless Sacred Body cannot restore the Law of Creation.

Zhao Xuan can convert other forces into the supreme power of the Five Elements to replenish the energy consumed after using the supreme power of the Five Elements, but he cannot replenish their creation principles.

Therefore, it is no longer possible to further enhance one's supernatural abilities using the supreme power of the Five Elements.

Just then, all the other clones besides the Dao body and the elephant body returned one after another, which was equivalent to mastering twenty-eight kinds of supernatural powers.

Zhao Xuan only needs to transfer the supernatural talismans in his clone's body to his own Purple Mansion to gain mastery of supernatural powers.

Although it's only at the level of a great supernatural power, it can save a lot of time to condense each one individually.

Zhao Xuan then unleashed two streams of true spiritual power, using his own essence and blood as a guide to condense two new clones from the flesh and blood of the Tai Sui.

Then it was transported through the void and sent to the recipient for nurturing.

The nine emanations are divided into two lines: the reward body, the response body, the golden body, the karmic body, the merit body, and the virtue body are emanations on one line.

Production needs to be carried out gradually in sequence.

The three manifestations—Dharmakaya, Phenomena, and Tao—are manifestations on the same line.

It also needs to be done in order to be formed.

Or rather, only by gathering things in an orderly manner can they play their due role.
