In the afternoon, Xiaomeng told her manager that she was skipping work to go see her house being renovated.

It doesn't seem like a good idea to just ignore it and let the renovation company do whatever they want.

This time, she went to check on the renovation of a large penthouse apartment in the Xintiandi Mansion in the city center.

The person who took her there was the same familiar client manager from Meiju Design.

The account manager greeted Xiaomeng at the entrance of the residential area and handed her a brand-new red safety helmet.

"Miss Lin, it's been a long time."

"Sister Bai, thank you for your help. I just came to check on the progress of the house renovation."

"Okay, let's take the freight elevator up now."

The passenger elevator is temporarily out of service; I heard it's undergoing some basic testing.

Xiaomeng didn't care at all, and casually took the helmet and put it on her head.

Xiaomeng saw from outside the building that the scaffolding on the exterior of the large apartment she had bought had been completely removed, and it seemed that it was about to be inspected.

"Sister Bai, are many of the neighbors in this building renovating?"

"Many apartments are being renovated; there are residents upstairs and downstairs renovating their homes. Occupancy rates are quite high in these downtown apartments because they're convenient, right?"

Xiaomeng's new apartment is located on the 27th floor, with three elevators serving two households per floor, and the freight elevator and passenger elevator are separated in opposite directions.

As you exit the freight elevator, you'll see a work area outside that's convenient for domestic workers to access, connected to the kitchen.

Stepping out of the control room, you can see that plumbing and electrical work is underway throughout the house.

Xiaomeng saw that grooves had been dug in the ground of the house, and various colored electrical wires and water pipes had been installed.

Inside the house, there were various construction sites, and Xiaomeng overheard a bit of the construction instructions.

She didn't have any professional knowledge and couldn't see what the effect would be for the time being. She could only stand on the super spacious balcony, enjoy the view, and that was it.

The view from this large balcony is quite nice.

Such high housing prices are partly due to the location.

Although there aren't many distant mountains or nearby rivers to see, the city skyline in the distance and the bustling traffic and everyday life below are already quite spectacular.

After the visit, Xiaomeng planned to head home.

"Miss Lin, are you heading back already?" As she and Manager Bai stood in the elevator, Manager Bai took out an elegant envelope from his briefcase.

"There happens to be a great concert tonight, and our boss managed to get some complimentary tickets."

I wonder if Miss Lin would be interested.

If you don't have any other plans for the evening, going out to relax is a good option.

Xiao Meng took the envelope and saw a glamorous half-body photo of the "Sweetheart Queen" printed on the front. "Oh? I heard that tickets to this star's concerts are really hard to get. Are you just giving them to me for free?"

Manager Bai seemed a little surprised by Xiaomeng's words, and smiled casually, "As long as you are satisfied."

Xiaomeng got into her U8 and took the concert tickets out of the envelope to look at them. "They really are Sweetheart's concert tickets."

It's strange that so many fans are willing to pay high prices to buy even one copy, yet they still can't get one.

I, a mere passerby, actually received a free ticket.

"Huh? It's not that expensive, only 880 yuan a piece."

When she realized it was a hospitality receipt from the renovation company, she understood.

I spent tens of millions of yuan with the renovation company, so what's wrong with getting a few hundred yuan in hospitality receipt?

This is considered a relatively low-cost way to entertain guests.

Thinking that she had nothing to do that evening, Xiaomeng decided to go see a concert instead of staying home and watching dramas.

Driving to the vicinity of Guangzhou Stadium, we found a restaurant, parked, and ate. We ordered two dishes and a soup – a healthy meal. After finishing our meal, Xiaomeng strolled over to the concert venue.
