Super-rich: Spending money is just a job!

Chapter 195 Returning South for Spring Festival (Chapter 18)

Strolling through flower streets and markets is a traditional part of the Lunar New Year celebrations, and people often wander around during this time when they have free time.

Nowadays, flower markets sell all sorts of things.

The entrance area is mainly filled with various balloons and small toys.

Before they had walked more than a few steps, Xiaomeng had already bought two balloons for Doudou, one floating in the sky and the other drifting on the ground. She also bought a giant lollipop; the colorful lollipop was bigger than Doudou's face when she held it up, and no matter how much Doudou bit into it, the lollipop remained undamaged.

Xiaomeng and Cuiling were both visiting the flower market for the first time, and everything seemed new and exciting to them. However, they only looked around and bought some local specialties and snacks to share; they didn't go on a shopping spree.

Cuiling is a very easygoing person; when her family was poor, she didn't like to buy things because she didn't have money. After leaving her hometown, Xiaomeng bought everything for her, so she had even less desire to shop.

Xiaomeng didn't not want to spend money, but the prices at this flower market were low. You could buy a lot of things and it wouldn't cost much. But it would be silly to have to carry all the things you bought around the market.

Suddenly, a bouquet of knitted flowers was handed to Xiaomeng, followed by a smile from Xiaotang, "Here's a bouquet of knitted preserved flowers for you."

Xiaomeng thought it was nice and had a childlike beauty. "This is great! It lasts longer than fresh flowers. Where did you buy it?"

"In the direction we came from," Xiao Tang pointed in a direction, "there's a stall set up by a welfare home near the parking lot exit. These flowers were made by people with disabilities and children from the home, so I bought some."

Xiaomeng quickly went over to check it out as well. These bouquets weren't cheap, after all, they were hand-crocheted, and it must have taken a lot of effort to design and weave them. Xiaomeng took one of every unique styles on the stall, knitted bouquets and flower balls, and hung them all over the handle of DouDou's little stroller. She had finally managed to browse the flower market and buy some flowers.

Attorney Lang brought a bouquet of flowers for Cuiling, but Cuiling just smiled and the flowers ended up in Doudou's hands.

Xiaomeng felt a little embarrassed because her friends had all brought flowers for their families, while they hadn't prepared anything. She went into a luxury brand store near the flower market and bought a pair of enamel cufflinks for Lawyer Lang and a pair of slippers from a collaboration between the brand and an anime for Xiao Tang—both practical little items costing a few hundred yuan.

Lawyer Lang's reaction to the return gift was rather lukewarm, but Xiao Tang thought it was quite nice. He immediately threw away the gift box and started shopping in his slippers. This made Xiao Meng feel cold for him; it was only around ten degrees Celsius outside, and he was just walking around in slippers.

Visiting the flower market is lively and cheerful, which makes people happy.

Xiaomeng and Xiaotang were at a stall, debating which straw animal to buy.

Attorney Lang received a phone call, and after hanging up, he asked everyone if they wanted to cross the sea for dinner.

He said a friend invited him and his relatives and friends to visit Macau, and the itinerary and car had already been arranged.

"Macau City has lots of fun activities for the Lunar New Year. Shall we go check it out together? We can even get a free meal from Brother Lang. Since he said he's treating him specially, the meal will definitely be amazing," Xiao Tang urged Xiao Meng.

Xiaomeng looked at Cuiling, "But none of us have that plan." Although Xiaomeng had originally planned to take her older sister on a trip during the Spring Festival, the original plan was to leave after the fifth day of the Lunar New Year.

But Xiao Tang is a fun person, and having him lead the way will definitely be more interesting than if they went on their own with a tour group.

Upon realizing this, Xiaomeng immediately changed her mind, "Go, sis, let's go together. We'll go home, grab our luggage, and then we'll leave."

"Huh?" Cui Ling didn't expect things to develop so quickly.

"Anyway, Macau isn't far from us, it's only an hour's drive away. We've never been there before, so let's take this opportunity to go and have some fun."

"By the way, what about your passports?" Xiao Tang asked. "Are they still valid? If they've expired, it's okay, Brother Lang will process them very quickly."

"Everything is ready. We were originally planning to go abroad for a hot spring, but we ended up using it in Macau first."
