"Mommy, where are we going?" Shen Ruoning blinked her curious big eyes, her little head sticking out of the car window, gazing at the rolling mountains, her childish voice breaking the silence in the car.

“We’re going to the Ten Thousand Demon Forest,” Shen Yunxi replied gently, her gaze drifting out the window, her thoughts wandering, a subtle smile playing on her lips.
