The eerie blue flames flickered, illuminating Shen Yunxi's wary face. The voice was chilling, like a venomous snake's hiss, making the hairs on the back of her neck stand on end.

The darkness surrounding the altar seemed to writhe like living things, and a figure slowly emerged from it.

It was an old man dressed in a long black robe, with a withered face and sunken eyes, like a thousand-year-old mummy. He exuded a nauseating, chilling aura, like the stench of stagnant water.

"Hehehe... How many years has it been? Finally, someone has come..." The old man's withered lips moved slightly, emitting a chilling laugh: "I am the ancient demon god Chi You, trapped here for thousands of years. Today, I have finally found a destined person who can help me break free!"
