On a weekend morning, sunlight streamed through the thin windows and fell on Rhine's bed.

He woke up early, and after some internal struggle, he finally made a decision: to attend the class reunion.

Arthur sat at the dining table, holding a morning newspaper, but his gaze was unconsciously drawn to Rhine as he walked out of the room.

Seeing that Rhine was dressed formally, a stark contrast to his usual casual style, he couldn't help but ask curiously, "Are you going out today?"

“Yes, there’s a classmate reunion I need to attend,” Rhine replied, his tone revealing a mix of anticipation and nervousness.

Upon hearing this, Arthur did not press the matter further. He knew that Rhine had been working hard to adapt to his new life, and he was genuinely pleased that Rhine was willing to step out of his small circle and attend the class reunion.

He had always hoped that Rhine could interact more with others and integrate into society.

Arthur put down the newspaper, a slight sense of disappointment rising in his heart.

He had originally planned to go out with Rhine today to buy some daily necessities, but now it seems he'll have to go by himself.

Arthur knew that the money in the box hadn't been touched in a long time; Rhine had been trying to be independent and not cause him any trouble.

However, he still maintains the habit of checking the box every day, and he will adjust the amount inside as needed based on Rhine's living conditions and needs.

This subtle care made Rhine feel at home, warm and at ease.

“No, the party is in the evening. I’ll leave after lunch, and I probably won’t be back for dinner,” Rhine explained.

“Alright then.” Arthur nodded slightly, though he was somewhat disappointed, he still respected Rhine’s decision.

The morning passed quietly as the two were busy with their own tasks. Rhine returned to his room and devoted himself to studying magic, not daring to slack off in the slightest.

Arthur sat on the sofa in the living room, trying to find something to do, but his mind didn't seem to be on it.
