Faced with a group of large, lizard-like creatures approaching them, the two immediately became wary.

The two of them stood back to back and agreed to each take charge of a different direction.

Cheng Ying took out two lightsabers from her spatial storage and handed one to Mo Zhihuai, saying, "Senior, you know how to use it, right?"

Mo Zhihuai raised an eyebrow. "Little girl, you underestimate me, don't you?"

Before the two could continue their banter, the ferocious beast opposite them, as if they had planned it, quickly approached them.

Without further ado, the two picked up their laser swords, turned them on, and began slashing.

This lightsaber is really useful. Cutting through the heads and bodies of these beasts is like cutting tofu. Every cut is accurate, and blood splatters everywhere. Before long, the two of them had killed several beasts.

But the beast on the other side seemed unafraid and kept charging towards them. The two of them had no choice but to continue hacking and slashing!

They used their individual abilities while slashing and killing, which made it even faster to eliminate the group of beasts. Cheng Ying had always used lightning-type abilities, but this time she tried out the fire-type abilities she had absorbed!

She concentrated her fire-based powers in her hands, creating fireballs that she hurled at the distant beasts. The beasts that were hit instantly burst into flames.

Cheng Ying's fire-based ability seems to be able to burn everything; anything that touches it will ignite. Seeing how effective this ability is, Cheng Ying gave up using the laser sword.

She switched between her left and right hands, smashing the beasts to the left and then to the right, and soon, most of the beasts on her side were killed.

Meanwhile, Mo Zhihuai remained calm. His special ability was a rare form of devouring, and he emitted a thick orange mist that surrounded the group of ferocious beasts.

Soon, wherever the orange fog passed, the ferocious beasts disappeared without a trace. Cheng Ying and the others inadvertently caught a glimpse of this scene and wondered if there was something in that orange fog that could devour the flesh and blood of these monsters.

But eating flesh and blood is understandable, but how come there isn't even any bone left?

That's really scary. I should be more careful when talking to Senior Mo in the future, so as not to provoke him and get myself into trouble.

Soon, the two of them had dealt with all the wild beasts in the area.

Cheng Ying turned her head and began to flatter Mo Zhihuai, "Senior Mo, you are really amazing. What type of ability do you have? I've never seen it before."

Mo Zhihuai looked at Cheng Ying with a half-smile, until Cheng Ying felt a chill run down her spine, then he let her go and stopped teasing her. "This is a kind of devouring. Black is for guarding, while orange is for devouring."

"Anyway, you won't understand now even if I explain it more, but you'll gradually understand in the future."

Cheng Ying secretly pursed her lips, thinking to herself, "Fine, I won't say it then!"

Anyway, I have all sorts of superpowers in my own space. If all else fails, I can pick a few powerful ones to learn. How could they be worse than this?

After figuring it out, she stopped focusing on how powerful the other person's abilities were.

Mo Zhihuai was very surprised; this little girl seemed to be quite something!

Despite his incredible abilities, she didn't even have the slightest desire to obtain them!

Mo Zhihuai understood perfectly well that the girl's initial curiosity had quickly faded.

Such a mindset is truly rare. Is she genuinely indifferent, or does she have an even stronger trump card?

Mo Zhihuai decided to test Cheng Ying. He casually said, "Actually, my Devouring ability has an advanced version, but it requires a considerable price to use."

Cheng Ying simply gave a faint "hmm" to indicate that she had heard.

Mo Zhihuai grew increasingly curious about the background of this little girl.

Suddenly, a commotion arose in the distance.

The two exchanged a glance and hurried over to check.

A group of people in black uniforms were seen attacking an old man who had multiple wounds but was still putting up a stubborn fight.

Without saying a word, Cheng Ying was about to rush over to help, but Mo Zhihuai grabbed her and whispered, "Let's see what's going on first."

Cheng Ying frowned, but stopped walking.

Just then, one of the men in black uniforms spotted them, his eyes turned fierce, and he abandoned the old man and pounced on them.

Mo Zhihuai snorted coldly and released another thick orange mist, instantly enveloping the man in the black uniform.

A moment later, the man in black disappeared, and the rest of the men in black uniforms were terrified and fled.

Cheng Ying approached the old man and asked with concern, "Uncle, how are you?"

The old man looked at them gratefully, "Thank you, thank you so much!"

Cheng Ying helped the old man sit down and took out medicine from her spatial storage to treat his wounds.

Mo Zhihuai watched quietly from the side, his mind filled with even more speculation about Cheng Ying's private life.
