Before dawn the next day, Cheng Ying separated from Captain Su and Commander Liu. According to the plan, Captain Su and Commander Liu arranged for people to set up a defensive line outside the county town first, and then attack the county town after Cheng Ying had dealt with the ninjas.

Cheng Ying then entered the county town in stealth mode and went to the county party committee compound to check the situation. However, as soon as she entered the compound, several trucks came out and drove away.

Cheng Ying glanced into the trucks; each truck contained only a few dozen Japanese soldiers, who appeared to be out collecting supplies.

So Cheng Ying found a secluded spot and sent a message to Commander Liu: "Hello, is this Commander Liu?"

Immediately, Commander Liu's voice came from the other end of the line, "Cheng Ying, what happened?"

Cheng Ying: "I just saw several trucks leave, each with only a few dozen Japanese soldiers inside. Keep an eye on them and deal with them."

Commander Liu: "Okay, I got it. Be careful!"

Cheng Ying replied softly, "Okay, no problem!"

After hanging up Commander Liu's communicator, Cheng Ying continued walking towards the county committee compound!

Cheng Ying headed straight for the conference room, and sure enough, when she arrived at the conference room door, she could hear the sounds of discussions taking place inside.

Cheng Ying thought for a moment, then flashed into the space. She took out her tablet, turned it on, and connected the previously installed camera. Immediately, the scene inside appeared on the computer screen.

At the head of the table was still the old man Sakata, and the officers below him sat upright, but none of them looked too good. One of the officers said, "Teacher Sakata, we have run out of food. We just sent people out to scavenge some usable supplies, but it will take them a day or two to return."

"Then let's contact the city headquarters again and ask when the reinforcements will arrive?" Old Man Sakata said.

The officer who answered earlier said, "Yes, I'll go right away!"

Another officer asked, "Sakata-sensei, now that Admiral Kurokawa has died for his country, should we request that another one be sent down from above?"

Old man Sakata pondered for a moment and said, "Not for now. I will lead you until reinforcements arrive, then we'll talk about it!"

The old man, Sakata, was covered in medical tape, clearly indicating that he had suffered serious injuries.

But he remained strong and chaired the meeting.

Old Man Sakata knew that their situation was extremely critical. After all, they had run out of all strategic resources, whether weapons or food, and they were like lambs to the slaughter.

Now that so much time has passed, the reinforcements sent by the city headquarters still haven't arrived. Something feels off. Could something have happened again?

The more old man Sakata thought about it, the more uneasy he became, so he said, "You all discuss what we should do now!"

After saying that, he slowly got up and walked out. Outside, he said to the air beside him, "Take a few men and go out to scout out the situation, especially to find out when our reinforcements will arrive."

All that could be heard was a voice from the air beside me saying, "Yes!"

After a brief ripple in the air, all was quiet. Old Man Sakata no longer believed that the Japanese soldiers in the army were so incompetent that they had managed to take all the strategic materials from his warehouse without leaving a trace.

They didn't notice anything at all. Did the other party have some kind of supernatural power? How come they didn't even know when the supplies were taken away?

Logically speaking, with so many Japanese soldiers in the compound and so many supplies in the warehouse, it's unusual that there wasn't a single sound when tanks and planes were transporting supplies!

Old Man Sakata felt the pain in his body, his eyes filled with boundless hatred. He was determined to find that female guerrilla fighter and avenge his injury.

This injury was a disgrace to him, and he would never let that person off easily.

His injuries were so severe that he was only able to get out of bed and walk around thanks to his strong martial arts skills, which kept him from collapsing!

Cheng Ying, inside the space, saw the old man Sakata leave the house, and she felt that now was the best time to assassinate him.

She didn't want to give up this opportunity, so after leaving the space, she went to cause trouble for old man Sakata.

Regardless of whether the assassination will succeed, she has to try, so that she can lure out the other ninjas and wipe them out in one fell swoop!
