Jiang Weidong looked up at the glowing full moon, then looked down at the silly Lin Wangshu, and finally determined whether she was drunk or just half-drunk.

"Wang Shu, are you drunk?"

Lin Wangshu was displeased and, hands on her hips, accused him, "You're making fun of me!"

Jiang Weidong was utterly wronged. "What did I do?"

"What do you mean I'm not drunk? I only had a little bit of wine, and it was what you left over. How could I be drunk? You're clearly making fun of me for having a low alcohol tolerance!"

Although Lin Wangshu had drunk too much, his logic remained clear.

Jiang Weidong was amused by her and could only coax her like a child, "Okay, okay, you're not drunk, let's go back to sleep, alright?"

"No way! I'm not drunk, why would I need to sleep?" Lin Wangshu swayed as she refused him, then suddenly had a whim, "I want to go for a walk!"

"Go for a walk?" Jiang Weidong looked around and realized it was so dark he couldn't see his hand in front of his face, and thought he might have misheard.

Lin Wangshu got excited and left without hesitation. She nodded excitedly and walked quickly. In the blink of an eye, she was already out the front door.

Jiang Weidong was so exasperated by her antics that he quickly followed her.

"Second brother, where are you going so late at night?"

Yafi noticed that they left their seats one after the other, and chased after them to the door. Finding that they were both leaving, she quickly asked loudly.

"It's nothing, don't worry about it!" Jiang Weidong was in a hurry to catch up with Lin Wangshu, so he just made up an excuse.

Yafei made two "eh" sounds, but when she couldn't get them to stop, she could only shrug helplessly at Anjie beside her.

"Mom, look! Those two have eloped!"

Anjie slapped her on the shoulder, "You brat, why are you talking nonsense all day long!"

"Oh, Mom, you're so biased!" Yafei grimaced and rubbed her shoulder, looking at Anjie with dissatisfaction.

Anjie ignored her, looking helplessly towards the door. How could young people these days be so troublesome? For the first time, she admitted to herself that she was really getting old.

On the other side, Jiang Weidong was delayed by Yafei and only saw Lin Wangshu's back after running a few steps.

He had witnessed firsthand how troublesome a person who rarely got drunk could be when they started acting out.

If Jiang Weidong had known that Lin Wangshu would get drunk after just half a sip, he wouldn't have let her smell the alcohol at all.

On the quiet paths of Songshan Island at night, a cold wind blows and there is not a soul in sight.

Only the drunken Lin Wangshu strolled around, humming an off-key tune, which, when blown by the wind, sounded like a ghostly wail.

Jiang Weidong found it creepy to listen to, and followed not far behind her. It wasn't that he didn't want to stay by Lin Wangshu's side, but every time he got close, Lin Wangshu would excitedly scream.

"Handsome guy, you're really good-looking, hehehe, and you have a great body too, such broad shoulders! And such long legs!"

Lin Wangshu was so drooling with envy that her head was spinning. She couldn't even recognize Jiang Weidong, but she still couldn't hide her true colors.

Jiang Weidong was initially pleased with Lin Wangshu's drunken ramblings, but as her voice grew louder and her words became increasingly...unacceptable.

Jiang Weidong was so anxious that he wanted to cover her mouth, but Lin Wangshu was still acting crazy when she was drunk, and she excitedly tried to pull his hand away and yell at him.

Helpless, Jiang Weidong could only step back a few steps, putting on an air of chastity and fidelity, before Lin Wangshu clicked her tongue in regret and left.

From the surrounding houses, the sounds of babies crying in the night and women shouting and cursing could be heard, clearly frightened by Lin Wangshu. Jiang Weidong could only silently apologize for her in his heart.

Perhaps as retribution for his sins, Lin Wangshu suddenly tripped and fell flat on his face while walking ahead.

Upon seeing this, Jiang Weidong quickly strode to her side and asked anxiously, "Wang Shu, are you alright?"

Perhaps jolted awake by the fall, Lin Wangshu raised her head and cried out in a pitiful voice, "Weidong, it hurts so much!"

Jiang Weidong became even more anxious, and his hand frantically reached for her ankle. Lin Wangshu had twisted it once when she was a child, and Jiang Weidong was afraid that her old injury would flare up again.

But no matter how much he touched her, Jiang Weidong couldn't find anything wrong. He tentatively asked her, "Wangshu, are you really in pain?"

Lin Wangshu pouted, as if she had suffered a great injustice, and cried out in pain with great enthusiasm, raising her hand towards him, "It really hurts! Quickly carry me!"

Jiang Weidong saw through her little scheme and chuckled, "You little devil!"

Even though he knew she was faking it, Jiang Weidong was happy to indulge her. After kissing Lin Wangshu on the lips, he turned his back to her and bent down.

"Come on up, you little liar."

Lin Wangshu, having succeeded in his wicked scheme, chuckled and suddenly pounced on her, shouting, "Pigsy carrying his wife!"

Even when people called him Pigsy (from Journey to the West), Jiang Weidong wasn't angry; a smile still played on his lips. "Little wife, hold on tight!"

After saying that, he jerked the person on his back and sped up to run home, shouting, "Let's go home and consummate our marriage!"

Lin Wangshu cried out in surprise, feeling the wind whistling past her ears. Instead of being afraid, she excitedly hugged Jiang Weidong's neck, her eyes shining and her mouth giggling.

The feeling of being carried on Jiang Weidong's back made Lin Wangshu feel as if she had returned to her teenage years. Back then, she had sprained her ankle and was carried home by Jiang Weidong in the same way, one foot deep and the other shallow.

Although both of them were covered in injuries, they both had smiles on their faces.

When they got home, everyone had already left, and the two of them fell silent without saying a word. Anjie even thoughtfully left the door open for them.

After all that commotion, Lin Wangshu was now completely sober. Although the liquor didn't taste good, the feeling of being drunk and indulging was really wonderful.

"Wei Dong, I'm hungry." Lin Wangshu noticed that Jiang Wei Dong was looking at her with an unfriendly expression, so she suddenly touched her stomach and looked completely innocent.

Jiang Weidong couldn't tell whether she was drunk or not, but he still dutifully agreed, "Just wait, my ancestor!"

As Jiang Weidong's figure disappeared into the kitchen, Lin Wangshu's gaze drifted to the dining table, where the food had been cleared away, leaving only a half-empty bottle of baijiu.

Lin Wangshu hesitated for a moment, then walked over, picked up the bottle of wine, and carefully poured a small sip into her mouth.

It was still the familiar spiciness. Lin Wangshu slowly swallowed it, thankfully without coughing up any. Then her face and body felt warm.

Lin Wangshu looked toward the only lit room, the kitchen, shook her head, and staggered toward the light.

Jiang Weidong, who was focused on cooking noodles in the kitchen, suddenly felt a softness on his back as a pair of soft hands hugged him from behind.

Jiang Weidong's body stiffened, and he instinctively wanted to grab those hands to retaliate.

But then came Lin Wangshu's slurred, slightly drunken voice from behind, "Weidong, I'm so hot!"
