Laozi exclaimed in surprise, "Where has this wretched beast gone?!"

After being shaken awake, the boy tending the cattle hurriedly knelt down and kowtowed, confessing that he had stolen a magic pill from the alchemy room before falling into a deep sleep.

Laozi said, "That is the Seven-Return Fire Pill that I refined. One pill can make one fall into a deep sleep for seven days. So, that beast has been in the mortal realm for seven years."

Sun Wukong said indignantly, "Old man, you allowed your bull to descend to the mortal realm and become a demon, do you know your crime?!"

Laozi sighed, "Even if that beast becomes a monster, with your abilities, Great Sage, how could you not subdue him?"

Sun Wukong then revealed in detail how the golden ring had taken their weapons.

Upon hearing this, Laozi immediately sensed something was terribly wrong and exclaimed, "Oh no! He's stolen my Vajra Bracelet!"

Upon hearing this, Sun Wukong said irritably, "Could it be the one you used to smash my head when I wreaked havoc in the Heavenly Palace?"

Lao Tzu nodded repeatedly: "That's right!"
