"Second Brother, hurry up!" Sha Wujing shouted back to the people behind him as he hurried forward.

Pigsy slowly lowered the reins he was holding, muttering, "Oh dear, Master, I really can't walk anymore!"

As he spoke, he plopped down on the ground and refused to get up.

"I'm starving to death!" Pigsy patted his round belly, looking pitiful.

Seeing this, Sun Wukong, who was standing to the side, couldn't help but snort and said with a hint of sarcasm, "Hmph, if you're so attached to home, you might as well head back now."

Upon hearing this, Pigsy jumped up from the ground in anger, pointed at Monkey's nose, and shouted, "Master, you must give me, this old Pig, a fair judgment!"

"I just casually mentioned that I was hungry, how could this senior brother be so heartless as to try and kick me out?"

Seeing that the two had started arguing again, Chen Yi quickly stepped forward to mediate, saying, "Alright, alright, stop arguing. Actually, my stomach is growling with hunger too."

Having said that, he turned his head, looked at Sun Wukong with his big, watery eyes full of grievance, and called out, "Great Sage, I'm hungry..."

The master and his disciples had been traveling for many days.

The journey was through desolate and uninhabited areas, and the dry food they carried was almost gone.

Sun Wukong could never stand the pitiful look in the little monk's eyes. Although he was somewhat unwilling, he still said in a bad mood, "Wait here."

Then, in a somersault, he disappeared from everyone's sight.

As Sun Wukong's departing figure gradually disappeared into the distance, Chen Yi couldn't help but grin happily and warmly greeted his two disciples, saying, "Come, come, Bajie, Wujing, let's sit down and rest for a while."

So the three of them found a clean spot and sat down, quietly waiting for Sun Wukong to return.

Not long after, Sun Wukong returned, carrying an exquisite basket in his hand.

Pigsy rushed forward like a hungry wolf pouncing on its prey, his chubby hands eagerly reaching for the basket.

Sun Wukong, however, raised his hand high as if protecting a precious treasure, not letting Zhu Bajie touch the basket even slightly.

Pigsy immediately looked displeased and muttered, "Brother! I can smell it, it's steamed buns! Let me try some, my stomach is practically empty."

Sun Wukong remained unmoved and firmly said, "Little monk, you eat first."

Pigsy pouted in dissatisfaction and reluctantly replied, "I know, you only care about Master."

Sun Wukong ignored him and quickly walked up to Chen Yi with his basket.

"Eat."

Chen Yi took a steamed bun from the basket and said with a smile, "Thank you, Great Sage."

Sun Wukong nodded slightly: "Mm."

Chen Yi smiled and waved to Zhu Bajie and Sha Wujing: "Bajie, Wujing, come and eat too."

Pigsy replied excitedly, "Coming!"

Sha Wujing quickly replied, "Master, I'm coming right now."

Chen Yi ate one of the basket of steamed buns, and the rest were devoured by his two disciples, especially Zhu Bajie, whose appetite was astonishing; he ate more than half of them by himself.

Watching the three of them devour their food, Sun Wukong said loudly, "Let's get going. There's a house not far ahead."

Chen Yi readily agreed, "Okay."

Sha Wujing picked up the load and turned to shout to Zhu Bajie, "Second Brother, quickly bring the horse!"

Pigsy grumbled reluctantly, "Here it comes, really, I always have to lead the horse."
