A pond full of blooming flowers, an ultimate addiction.

"It's late, let's rest." Chi Ruiche let go of her. How could he express his desire to stay with her? Ever since Jiang Yang told him, he had been thinking about how to regain her trust and make her rely on him.

"The guest room is next door. Good night," Jiang Yi said shyly.

"I'll stay with you. Okay?" Chi Ruiche's eyes curved slightly, his lips pursed, and he had an expectant look on his face.

Jiang Yi looked at him in confusion. Was he being coquettish?

"Lie down."

Jiang Yi obediently turned to her side, and Chi Ruiche covered her with a blanket. He lay down beside her, watching her back, and held her hand. "Sleep." His voice seemed to have a soothing effect on Jiang Yi, and she closed her eyes as if possessed.

In the quiet night, drowsiness creeps in, and with the calming of my breathing, the soft light of the bedside lamp makes everything so peaceful.

The next morning, Jiang Yi lazily opened her eyes, only to be met with Chi Ruiche's handsome face, so real and clear before her. Surprisingly, she wasn't dreaming; was it because he was there?

"Good morning, my Yi Yi." Chi Ruiche held her hand even tighter, the soft feeling flowing from his fingertips to his heart.

Jiang Yi jerked her hand back. Her panic made Chi Ruiche's lips involuntarily curl up, and he reached out to stroke her hair.

"I have a day to spend with you." Chi Ruiche hugged Jiang Yi through the blanket, resting his chin on her shoulder. "Is there anywhere you'd like to go?"

Jiang turned around and wrapped her arms around his waist. Chi Ruiche was tall and broad, and he hugged her back, his large hands supporting her back. The stray hairs on his forehead obscured his gaze, but he simply placed a light and reassuring kiss on her forehead.

"Just being with you is enough." Jiang Yi knew he must be very tired, so he should rest well during his rare holiday. As long as they were together, even the simplest things would feel different.

Today is the maid's day off, and Youming bought some food and is enjoying his holiday in his room. He won't come out unless there are special circumstances.

Chi Ruiche happily drank the milk that Jiang Yi had poured for him and ate two slices of toast with relish.

Jiang Yi rushed over, not wanting him to see the "masterpiece" in the kitchen, but it was too late.

"I messed up, I got really angry." Jiang Yixin said guiltily, trying her best to make amends without looking.

"What would you like to eat?" Chi Ruiche finished tidying up the kitchen, glanced at the refrigerator, which the maid must have cleaned out beforehand, as there weren't any fresh ingredients. "Is there a supermarket nearby?"

"Yes, it takes ten minutes by bicycle."

"Let's go shopping." Chi Ruiche changed into the matching outfit Jiang Yi bought for them: a clean black short-sleeved shirt with a red heart embroidered on the left side, paired with white casual pants, and his hair was neatly styled. Usually dressed in a suit and tie, Chi Ruiche had a sunny, boyish charm when he took off his suit.

Jiang and Yi wore matching short-sleeved shirts that reached their thighs, paired with cycling shorts. The two of them wore matching shoes, giving off the illusion of dating in college.

“These are the shoes you wore yesterday.” Jiang Yi looked at the shoes on Chi Ruiche’s feet.

"I promised you." Chi Ruiche knelt down to put on Jiang Yi's shoes and tied the shoelaces.

"Che, it's not like I can't take care of myself." She always felt that being with Chi Ruiche was like having food and clothes done for her, giving her the illusion of taking care of her daughter.

"I'd be happy to." Chi Ruiche enjoys taking care of her and hopes to give her the greatest sense of security so that she will always rely on him.

The early summer sun shone through the leaves, and Chi Ruiche pedaled on the tree-lined avenue, with Jiang Yi sitting behind him, her arms around his waist. A gentle breeze brushed against their cheeks and blew through their long hair.

Chi Ruiche parked the car, took Jiang Yi's hand, and carried the shopping cart into the supermarket. The supermarket had three floors and covered everything from seafood and meat to vegetables and daily necessities. Jiang Yi pulled Chi Ruiche to the snack section first and picked out a few bags of potato chips.

"Let's eat this afternoon while watching the movie." Jiang Yi picked out a few of her favorite dishes.

"Black truffle chocolate flavor? Cherry blossom macaron flavor?" Chi Ruiche examined the potato chips carefully; the flavors of potato chips these days were quite a mix.

"I've never eaten this before." Jiang Yi thought it looked quite special. He went to the fruit section, where neatly arranged red, crisp peaches looked even more delicious under the lights.

"Che, I want to eat this." Jiang Yi reached out to touch it.

"Let me do it, don't touch the peach fuzz." Chi Ruiche pulled her back. He picked out a box that looked good and then went to wash his hands with a portable faucet, also afraid that he might get some on her.

Jiang Yi has some peculiar allergies. She can eat peaches but can't touch the peach fuzz, and she can't eat dragon fruit; even touching it will cause her to break out in large red rashes.

"I want to eat when we get back." Perhaps out of habit, Jiang Yi waved her hand coquettishly, looking at Chi Ruiche with big, teary eyes, giving off a pitiful feeling.

"Eat after you finish eating." Chi Ruiche knew she loved to eat, and she had ate too much and suffered stomach aches more than once before.
