Abu carried two large bags of things, swaggering around as he walked, as if afraid Jiang Yi wouldn't see his feelings. Lü Haotian followed behind, silently watching her.

With the curtains half-drawn, the gloomy weather outside, and the unlit room, Jiang Yi sat listlessly, the dim space making her appear pale and weak.

Jiang Yi greeted them politely, showing no interest in Abu's boasting. He usually teased Abu, but he didn't respond.

"Hey, where's the boss? Is he really willing to leave?" Abu looked around but didn't see Chi Ruiche, and muttered something strange.

"He had something to do and left early." Jiang Yi forced a smile to hide the pain in her heart.

"You have no idea how much time he has to come over these past few days. You stayed in the intensive care unit for three days and he stayed outside to watch over you for all three days. Don't you think he's lost weight?"

Abu made an exaggerated face, implying that he had changed a lot.

"Have you had lunch? I brought your favorite food, and I asked the doctor if it's okay for you to eat it."

Lu Haotian took out the insulated lunchbox, then carefully scanned it with his eyes, his gentle expression tinged with sadness, "You've lost weight."

"It saves me the trouble of dieting," Jiang Yi replied jokingly.

Abu's phone rang. He glanced at it, then ran out quickly, his expression changing instantly as if something terrible had happened.

"Did you have a fight with the boss?"

"I can do it myself." Jiang Yi was stunned and awkwardly avoided his attempt to feed her.

"Chi Chengting went to negotiate with someone, but was kicked out. Now they're searching everywhere for that little girl."

Abu lowered his voice and looked around. Fortunately, it was the nurses' break time, and the corridor was empty.

"Understood. Continue to monitor her and make sure she is safe." Chi Ruiche's face remained expressionless, showing no surprise at the matter.
