Chi Ruiche placed a piece of food into Jiang Yi's bowl, his expression relaxed and his eyes smiling. "Eat first."

"I just texted you saying your sister-in-law has an upset stomach and is going to the hospital for a check-up. She'll be here later." Jiang Yang texted them to make their own arrangements and not to wait for him.

"What about Second Brother and Abu?!"

"Are you talking about me?" Lü Haotian stared at Jiang Yi, a smile playing on his lips.

Jiang raised an eyebrow and playfully stuck out her tongue, "Speak of the devil, and he appears."

Lu Haotian, always so elegant and poised in his black suit, the polka dots on his tie perfectly complementing his gentlemanly demeanor. He naturally sat down next to Jiang Yi, a barely perceptible smile hidden in his eyes.

"President Chi, Miss Jiang, President Lü." Yu Qingcheng walked in front, followed by Yu Shaohua and Yu Shuqing, holding wine glasses, the clinking of the glasses making a crisp sound.

"Miss Jiang, it's been a long time. I haven't seen you in public since you got engaged to President Chi." Yu Shuqing's smile was very gentle, and her delicate features made her look like a fragile woman who was lovable.

"Thank you for your concern, Miss Yu. I simply didn't attend the debutante ball." Jiang Yi took a small sip of her drink, her tone neither warm nor cold.

"If there's a chance, we hope Miss Jiang will do us the honor of meeting you. My group of girlfriends are really looking forward to getting to know you up close." Jiang Yi shook his head and smiled wryly, "My clothes are wet."

Chi Ruiche looked past Yu Qingcheng and focused his gaze on Yu Shuqing. "Apologize."

Yu Shuqing was afraid of Chi Ruiche. His eyes were like sharp swords, and his imposing presence made her feel oppressed. The two short words held her back, and she stammered, "Mr. Chi... Mr. Chi, have you misunderstood something?"

"Youming, throw him out." Chi Ruiche's tone was gentle, but the oppressive feeling he exuded was terrifying.
