On the day of the interview.

Amidst the swaying shadows of the trees, dappled light swept across a blue and white figure. Its pink paws waded through the grass as Tianlu leisurely wagged its tail and walked through the forest.

"How boring—no school, no work, I almost thought I'd go home for a nice meal and send another one to Bai Jie. Oh, right, there's still Qi Shi Qi."

As a child, he would mutter to himself as he wandered aimlessly through the mountains.

The fresh air transforms into a cool breeze that weaves nimbly through the air, and the gentle chirping of insects and birds, carried on the wind, only enhances the tranquility.

Tianlu disappeared through a noticeably empty patch of bushes, but two seconds later he came back, tilted his head, and stared wide-eyed through the gap at the other side.

A giant beast over two meters tall appeared in the forest, its pink body partially obscured by the trees. At first glance, its tail appeared to be twice as long as it could be when stretched out to the sides!

Tianlu was stunned for a moment, then his eyes flashed with golden light and his lips involuntarily parted, glistening with tears!

Wow! What a huge piece of meat!

"Ah!"

Fat God suddenly sneezed, his one eye snapped shut for a moment, then opened groggily and looked around. The branches and leaves rustled, and a few birdsongs drifted gently by.

"Why do I feel a chill down my spine? Oh well, I'm pretty powerful. What monster in these mountains could possibly defeat me?"

He shook his head, turned around, picked up his tail, and continued to hum softly as he walked briskly. But in the grass behind him, two deep eyes suddenly flashed!

The next moment!

"what!"

A dark shadow suddenly darted out, its size rapidly increasing as it hovered in mid-air, casting a shadow over everything. Fat Lang Shen's hair stood on end as he snapped back to reality!

"--boom!"

"Ugh!"

A heavy blow landed on his head, the force of which made his brain buzz. Fat Lang Shen, feeling dizzy and lightheaded, rolled around twice before suddenly shaking his head and standing up, glaring angrily at the guy who had ambushed him!

"Who! Who dares to ambush me?!"

Tianlu landed lightly on its four paws, its long, narrow eyes looking around in surprise as it transformed into a circle. "It didn't faint?"

"Oh my god, what are you?!"

Before he could finish speaking, he saw the other person's single eye revealing a fierce light, and he was so frightened that he took a step back, his huge body swaying!

"What kind of look is that! Don't you have any manners? And you even ambushed me!" Fat Lang Shen arched his back, his fur standing on end, his fangs bared, ready to pounce!

Tianlu paused for a moment, then charged forward two seconds later, his claws slashing out!

"Never mind, let's take it first."

"Hey! Do you think I'm easy to mess with?!" Fatty Lang shouted angrily!

……

After three rounds, Fatty was sent flying with a bang by a claw, crashing into more than a dozen trees. Amidst the dust and smoke, Tianlu stepped on the ground and stood in front of him, looking down at him!

"Ugh... ugh, I'm sorry! Don't eat me!"

Fat God struggled to his feet, his body instantly reverting to his juvenile form as he slammed his head to the ground! A divine beast can bend and stretch; a simple slap on the head is no big deal!

Tianlu's lips twitched. He stretched out his claws, grabbed the other's tail, and lifted the little monster-like beast up to examine it closely. After a moment, a look of disgust appeared on his face.

"It looks so strange, is it edible?"

Fat God dared not be angry, his big eyes filled with tears, and his one eye blinked vigorously: "I can't eat you! Don't eat me... Look at how I look, I don't taste good at all!"

Tianlu smacked his lips and stared at him, his emerald green pupils emitting a ghostly light that frightened even beasts. He wasn't a picky eater at all!

The fat god trembled under that gaze, his one eye widening as he swayed back and forth, pleading incessantly, "Don't eat me! Don't eat me! I'm still useful! I can help you hunt!"

Tianlu remained unmoved and raised its claws...

"No, no, please!!" Fat Lang Shen's pupils contracted in terror as he watched the claw approach bit by bit.

Driven by the life-or-death crisis, his brain was working at an unprecedented frenzy. Cold sweat beaded on his forehead, and his CPU seemed to be smoking and overheating. Finally, a flash of inspiration struck him!

"Wait a minute!" he said urgently, "There's a film crew around here, you know? I'm going there to report for duty. Could you please let me off the hook for their sake?!"

He squeezed his eyes shut and finished speaking in one breath, took a deep breath, straightened his body, and quietly awaited the final verdict!

After a long while...

Darkness, silence, no pain, and no sudden awakening to find oneself in the underworld.

Fat Lang Shen cautiously opened his eyes, only to see that terrifying creature staring at him with a pair of blank eyes.

After a long silence between the two beasts, Tianlu quietly put him down, pouted, and transformed back into his juvenile form. His little face was full of frustration.

"Why is it another actor from the film crew?"

Fat Lang Shen collapsed limply, his legs trembling uncontrollably as he gasped for breath, "I...I survived..."

He raised his head with relief, and heard Tianlu mutter softly that his eyes, which had finally calmed down a bit, widened even more:

—Again? Has this happened before? Is this film crew in such a dangerous situation?!

Tianlu turned to face the fat man's one-eyed gaze. The man's terrified expression made Tianlu feel awkward, so he coughed awkwardly: "Ahem, since you're one of us, then I won't eat you."

After saying that, he puffed out his chest and patted the other person with his little paw: "Sorry, to make up for it, next time we go, you'll be the one taking the picture. Cough cough, don't talk about this outside."

As he spoke the last few words, Tianlu involuntarily lowered his voice.

He himself had lost count of how many times this had happened. If this continued, he would start to doubt whether he had really come here specifically to kidnap people!

Fat Langshen looked up and stared blankly at him. Tianlu felt a little embarrassed by the stare, so he quickly made up a couple of excuses and then ran away.

Fat Lang watched the other person's figure disappear into the gaps between the branches and leaves, his mind still in a daze, his one eye staring blankly.

……

The screen turned,

In the office, Puss in Boots and Xiaohang were sitting behind the desk, casually flipping through documents and chatting. The door creaked open, and Fat Man, who had just been through a lot, rushed in, looking travel-worn.

Puss in Boots glanced at the clock; it was almost exactly the time before the scheduled interview, meaning the other person had arrived right on time.

"you……"

"Director! Are these mountains really this dangerous? I almost died on the way!"

Puss in Boots had barely uttered a word when Fat Man preemptively cut him off, leaving the two production team leaders completely bewildered!

"Trying to eat me with your hands! I really wanted to get to know you guys, and then suddenly you appeared, and then..."

The two beasts listened to each other in a daze, their words becoming incoherent. Xiaohang quickly gathered his thoughts and interrupted them, saying:

"Wait, wait! Speak slowly, there's no rush."

Bamboo followed behind, curiously peeking out from the doorway to eavesdrop. After being calmed down by the two beasts, Fatty God was able to explain himself clearly.

After Puss in Boots and Xiaohang understood the whole story, their expressions became complicated. Bamboo at the door was also dumbfounded, and finally couldn't help but weakly mutter a complaint:

"Thank goodness I wasn't knocked unconscious and taken home... Bai Jie shouldn't be here today..."

"It's a good thing you didn't beat him! I wasn't home today, otherwise if you had dragged him back, it wouldn't have been a five-time victory."

noon,

school.

Bai Jie almost spat out his lunch, puffing out his cheeks twice before straining his neck to swallow it down. He stared at Tian Lu in astonishment, letting out two adorable burps.

"Uh! How come I always seem to run into actors who've just woken up in the mountains?"

"Hey, Baijie, eat slowly. These are all for you. I won't take them from you." Tianlu glanced at Baijie apologetically before leaning over to pat him on the back.

Bai Jie patted his chest and stretched his neck to catch his breath. After letting out two more baby-like burps, he finally managed to push the food that was blocking his esophagus down.

"Ha~~~ It's all because you said this kind of thing when I was swallowing, uh! Uh!" Bai Jie's body swayed with her older brother's movements, and her little paws instinctively covered her mouth.

Seventy-seven, holding a small cup of elixir filled with fairy dew, insisted on handing over her own water cup, "Hmm... drink some water, it might make you feel better."

Bai Jie took a sip of the water from the glass, and it was mixed with some fairy dew, which tasted sweet. But as soon as he finished drinking it, he immediately burped and his body swayed.

"Uh! Ah. No."

The chair turned around, and the three little ones who had been eating looked up. Walnut eagerly raised its paw, "Hey, Walnut has a way, Walnut, give it a try!"

Bai Jie cast a puzzled glance, and the next moment a small head popped out. Walnut's gloomy little face cast a large shadow, revealing its sharp tiger teeth.

"Ugh! Ah!"

Bai Jie leaned back, instinctively kicking twice in the chair, but then another burp interrupted him, his hot breath landing on Walnut's face.

"Hmm, this won't work either." Walnut pulled back a little, a bit disappointed, then twitched its little nose twice and tilted its head slightly.

—Flavorful of pickled fish?

"You, uh! You scared me, uh! You gave me a fright, uh!" Bai Jie clutched his chest, still shaken, his hiccups getting worse.

The beasts scratched their heads for a moment, then immediately began to study how to help Bai Jie stop hiccuping, with the air of an expert group holding a meeting, and carried out a series of experiments.

As for the matter of Fat Lang Shen, no one cares about it anymore.
