Chapter 1: A Modern Yogi's Accidental Time Travel - "Meditation Encounters a Strange Change, Traveling Through the Ancient Indian Realm"

My name is Lin Yu, and I'm a well-known yoga instructor in modern society. Since childhood, I've had a strong interest and talent for yoga. Through years of dedicated study and tireless practice, I've achieved some success in the field, opening my own yoga studio. Many students are drawn to me, eager to advance in their practice.

On an ordinary evening, after a busy day of teaching, I returned home exhausted yet satisfied. After a simple dinner, I lit a candle in the quiet yoga studio as usual, emitting the delicate scent of lavender. Then, I sat cross-legged on a soft yoga mat, slowly closed my eyes, and began a deep meditation. As my breathing became deeper and more even, my consciousness, like a lithe bird, gradually detached from the hustle and bustle of the world and entered a deep and tranquil inner world.

Yet, just as I was immersed in the height of meditation, a blinding light suddenly and without warning appeared in the depths of my consciousness. The radiance was like the simultaneous explosion of billions of brilliant stars, releasing a powerful energy that instantly enveloped me. I felt a dizzying sensation, as if my consciousness was being drawn into a vast, endless vortex, my body losing all weight and perception. In this utter chaos and terror, I desperately struggled to wake myself and escape this terrifying unknown, but I found myself completely powerless, completely at the mercy of the overwhelming force.

I don't know how long it took, perhaps a moment, perhaps an eternity, before the suffocating dizziness finally dissipated. I slowly opened my eyes, only to be stunned by the scene before me. The familiar yoga studio was long gone, replaced by a dense, ancient forest. Tall trees blocked out the sun, their trunks so thick they required several people to embrace. Their interwoven branches formed a natural green dome. Only a few faint rays of sunlight filtered through the leaves, casting patches of golden light on the ground. The ground was covered with thick fallen leaves and unknown, exotic flowers and plants, a riot of color, exuding a fresh yet unfamiliar fragrance. From time to time, the clear, melodious chirping of birds, a sound I had never heard before, echoed in my ears, like a mysterious forest symphony.

I was filled with panic and confusion, my mind instantly in a state of chaos. "Where is this? How did I get here?" Countless questions raced through my mind. I instinctively stood up and looked around, searching for any trace of familiarity, desperate to find my way home. However, all I saw was an endless, unfamiliar expanse of green, a mystical interweaving of light and shadow. Like a deer lost in a maze, I stumbled around in this ancient, mysterious forest, unable to find the exit, completely lost.

After a moment of extreme panic, I tried to calm myself and began to carefully recall every detail of my journey through time. But to my despair, aside from the blinding light and the terrifying sensation of struggling endlessly in the vortex, my mind was completely blank, as if all memories of modern life had been mercilessly erased by the bright light. Gazing at the unfamiliar surroundings, I felt a deep sense of helplessness and loneliness.

"Am I trapped in this inexplicable place?" I muttered to myself, my voice trembling. Despite my inner fear, I knew that panicking wouldn't solve anything. So, I took a deep breath, mustered my courage, and cautiously began to explore my surroundings. With every step, I was careful, fearful of disturbing the tranquility of this ancient forest, and wary of the unknown dangers that might lurk in the shadows.

While traversing the forest, I discovered ancient ruins. They ranged from massive stones half-buried in mud and weeds, inscribed with mysterious symbols and patterns, to collapsed pillars, their jagged fractures a testament to the passage of time. I slowly approached these relics, reaching out to gently touch the cold, rough stone, and a surge of awe surged in me for the era in which I lived. These ruins seemed like living history books, silently recording the former glory and prosperity of this land. And I, an intruder from the future, seemed so small and insignificant before them.

As I became more familiar with my surroundings, my heart gradually calmed. Although my longing to return home remained strong, I began to realize that perhaps this was a special test from fate. As a yogi, I know that in the face of adversity, I must maintain inner peace and determination, and adapt to the changes of nature. And right now, in this mysterious ancient Indian forest, perhaps it was the perfect opportunity to delve deeper into the true meaning of yoga and pursue a higher level of spiritual practice.

In the days that followed, I began to experiment with surviving in this forest. Drawing on the keen senses and tenacity cultivated through my yoga practice, I foraged for edible fruits and water, built a simple shelter, and gradually adapted to life here. However, every night, as I lay alone in my humble shelter, gazing at the dappled moonlight filtering through the leaves, I couldn't help but feel a surge of longing for modern life and uncertainty about the future.

"How can I return to my own world? Or, should I completely let go of the past and devote myself to this new and unknown journey?" This question is like an lingering shadow, always looming in my heart, making me full of contradictions and struggles in this seemingly peaceful ancient Indian forest life.
