Chapter 945 The View from the Window
White Zetsu stood aside, observing coldly. Its body appeared and disappeared in the shadows, like an invisible ghost, watching Obito's every move. It said in a detached tone, "Your body has been fully restored, and your power has returned to its peak. From now on, your path of revenge will be even smoother."
Obito lowered his head, the light in his pupils shifting constantly. He ignored the White Zetsu, his entire being engulfed in a deep emotional turmoil. Rin's memory remained vivid—her smile, her voice—she had once been his sole support. However, her death, the moment Kakashi's Chidori pierced her heart, utterly shattered all his beliefs.
“Rin…” Obito murmured, his despair turning into anger that broke free from the shackles of reason.
In the instant of his resurrection, Obito's Mangekyou Sharingan awakened, unleashing an uncontrollable power that seemed to make the entire world tremble. White Zetsu did not stop him; in fact, a slight look of satisfaction appeared on its face. It knew that at this moment, Obito was no longer the idealistic boy he once was, but had completely transformed into a vengeful monster.
Obito's eyes burned with a blood-red light as he swung his weapon without hesitation, shattering a solid stone wall in front of him. With the sound of the wall collapsing, Obito's steps quickened; he had to reach Rin and Kakashi as soon as possible. Despite the deep pain in his heart, he couldn't stop; he knew only that revenge had become the sole reason for his existence.
However, when Obito finally arrived at Rin and Kakashi's location, the scene before him nearly broke him. Kakashi stood to the side, still clutching the blood-soaked Chidori in his hand, while Rin's body lay limply on the ground, blood splattered across the floor from her chest.
Obito's eyes instantly turned bloodshot, a mixture of anger and grief overwhelmed him; he couldn't accept this fact. In that instant, his heart felt like it was about to shatter. He looked at Rin's eyes, which would never open again, his heart filled with tearing pain.
"Kakashi!" Obito practically roared, his eyes blazing with murderous intent. His body rapidly released an overwhelming aura, almost distorting the surrounding air. Obito was no longer the hesitant boy he once was; he had become a true monster, a being consumed by nothing but revenge and rage.
Kakashi clearly noticed Obito's change as well. He froze, the electricity in his Chidori flickering slightly. A flicker of fear crossed his eyes, but he quickly regained his composure. He knew that Obito had completely changed. He was no longer the comrade he once was, but an avenger, a utter enemy.
Obito's eyes flashed with a blood-red light as he walked step by step toward Kakashi, the air behind him tearing through the air like a ferocious beast. Kakashi instinctively retreated, sensing that Obito was no longer an easy opponent to deal with.
"Do you even know that you killed Rin?" Obito's voice was low and filled with barely suppressed rage. "You used that Chidori to pierce her heart! You destroyed everything she had!"
A hint of self-reproach flashed in Kakashi's eyes, but he quickly calmed down, raised Chidori in his hand, and prepared to meet the impending impact: "Obito, I had no choice, and I didn't want to hurt Rin, but... she stood between me and Konoha."
"Konoha?" Obito sneered, his tone disdainful. "You all treat Konoha as your only faith, sacrificing those precious lives. Rin died for you, and you're still defending Konoha!" Obito's words were filled with intense anger, and his body emanated an increasingly powerful aura, making the entire environment seem oppressive.
Kakashi's expression grew increasingly somber: "Obito, you are no longer the Obito I know. You want to destroy everything, but you don't understand that the sacrifices we made for Konoha were all for a greater future."
Obito stared coldly at Kakashi, his eyes blazing with anger and resolve: "I don't need your explanation, Kakashi. There is no place for me in the future of Konoha."
As soon as he finished speaking, Obito's body erupted with terrifying power. His weapon swept through like a whirlwind, destroying everything around him. Kakashi hurriedly dodged, the electricity of Chidori clashing violently in the air. Obito's power had completely exceeded his expectations.
He stared intently at Kakashi, his eyes burning with the flames of revenge, and launched an attack without mercy. The clash between Chidori and the Mangekyou Sharingan instantly tore this space into countless fragments.
Obito's power was no longer merely a matter of ninjutsu technique, but a complete and unrestrained release of emotion. His attacks swept in like a storm, each swing carrying boundless rage and killing intent. Kakashi's counterattacks seemed insignificant, utterly unable to stop Obito's onslaught.
Obito no longer cared about Kakashi's identity, or even his past with Rin. All that remained in his eyes was anger and revenge, and he had only one goal—to destroy everything that stood in his way of revenge.
Obito held Rin's body tightly, his eyes bloodshot, his breathing rapid, as if he were completely lost in the pain and anger of the past. He murmured softly, as if talking to himself: "This is hell... Rin, I want to... recreate a world with you."
His voice was low and broken, as if the whole world had collapsed. Rin's death had become the deepest wound in his heart; the despair and pain of that moment were indescribable. His former ideals, his former ninja spirit, now seemed so pale and powerless in the face of Rin's corpse. His heart was dead, and he had long since given up on the world before him.
Obito gently laid Rin's body down, his hands rapidly forming hand seals in the air. His Mangekyou Sharingan shimmered with an unusual light, the surge of power causing the surrounding space to tremble. His emotions had transcended all reason; the only thing he could do was draw power from revenge to change this suffering world and bring Rin back to his side.
"I will create a world that belongs to you." Obito's tone was resolute, his eyes filled with unfulfilled desires and the flames of anger. He was no longer the idealistic ninja, but a monster driven by emotion and revenge.
In the distance, Kakashi still lay on the ground, covered in blood, his eyes filled with confusion and self-blame. He tried to struggle to his feet, but collapsed due to excessive blood loss. He looked at Obito, his eyes filled with deep pain and endless guilt.
