Flash Marriage with Dr. Huo
Chapter 282 Extra 7 After going to Singapore
"Mr. Huo, this is my transfer application."
Bo Lizhan placed the document on Mr. Huo's desk. Huo Chenjun raised his head, his gaze lingering on his face for a moment before returning to the document.
"Singapore branch?" Huo Chenjun's voice was as calm as ever. "Can you accept a six-month contract?"
"Yes." Bo Lizhan's voice was a little hoarse. "Didn't you say before that due to production line adjustments, you needed a senior executive to be stationed in Singapore? I would like to apply for it."
Huo Chenjun closed the document and his eyes fell on Bo Li Lue's haggard face.
"Because of Su Xianyun?"
Bo Lizhan's Adam's apple rolled. "She's determined to break up. She doesn't want to see me, so I'll leave, and she won't have to resign."
The office fell silent. Outside the French windows, dusk gradually deepened, and the city lights gradually lit up. Huo Chenjun stood up and walked to the window, his slender figure stretched out by the setting sun.
Huo Chenjun turned around, his eyes sharp, "You really didn't do well before."
"I..." Bo Lizhan opened his mouth but could not utter any words to defend himself.
Huo Chenjun walked back to his desk, picked up a pen and signed the document. "Singapore is currently short of a person in charge. You can go."
"Thank you, Mr. Huo."
Three days later, Bo Lizhan flew to Singapore. Before boarding the plane, he looked around and saw that Su Xianyun was not at the airport. He threw the ring in his pocket into the trash can.

Five months later, Su Xianyun's mother passed away and she took leave to return home to attend the funeral.
Su Xianyun knelt in front of the mourning hall, looking at her mother's black and white photo, tears streaming down her face. Her mother in the photo was still smiling so gently.
The house in my hometown has been in disrepair for many years. There are water stains in the corners of the walls and the straw mat on the floor has turned yellow.
"Xiao Su, don't be too sad." Uncle patted her shoulder gently. She leaned on her uncle, and her tears soaked his clothes.
She didn't notice that there was a man in a suit standing outside the mourning hall.
Vice President Bo rushed over from Singapore, exhausted. He looked at Su Xianyun snuggling in the man's arms from afar with a cold expression.
"Sir, who are you?" Su Xianyun's grandmother came over and noticed the strange man.
Vice President Bo exchanged a few words with Grandma, then turned and left. His leather shoes stomped on the muddy path, splashing mud that soaked his trouser legs.
Bean-sized raindrops clattered against the tiles, making a crackling sound. Vice President Bo stood beneath the old locust tree, watching the rain trickle down the veins of its leaves. He pulled out his cigarette case, only to find the cigarettes inside were soaked by the rain.
After the funeral, the rain stopped.
Su Xianyun stood in the yard of her grandmother's house, holding a cup of cold tea in her hand, her eyes a little dazed.
This is where she grew up.
The old locust tree in the yard swayed gently in the summer breeze, its leaves rustling as if whispering something. She was wearing a plain white cotton and linen dress that fell to her ankles and was tied with a thin belt around her waist, making her look exceptionally thin.
Her hair was casually tied back, with a few strands hanging by her ears.
Grandma came out of the house, holding a thin coat in her hand, and gently draped it over Su Xianyun's shoulders: "Xiao Su, don't stand there for too long, the wind is a bit cold."
Su Xianyun came back to her senses and forced a smile: "Grandma, I'm fine."
Grandma walked tremblingly to Su Xianyun's side. "Someone came this afternoon, and I felt like he was looking for you. He said he was from Singapore."
“What does he…look like?”
"He was wearing a suit, was tall, and looked very elegant," my grandmother recalled. "He stood outside the funeral hall for a long time, and then left."
Su Xianyun's heart trembled suddenly. She lowered her head and thought to herself, "It must be Bo Lizhan."
"What else did he say?" Su Xianyun asked.
Grandma recalled, "He said he was leaving, and his flight was at 5:30 today."
There was a hint of worry in the grandmother's eyes: "Is he your boyfriend? Child, if you have him in your heart, call him."
"Grandma, go inside first, I'll be there soon."
Su Xianyun's heart was in a mess, as if something was pulling it tightly. Su Xianyun hated him and missed him. She didn't know whether time had diluted the hatred.
There was a sound of light footsteps in the distance. Su Xianyun looked up and saw a familiar figure walking out of the twilight.
Bo Lizhan was wearing a dark grey suit jacket with a white shirt underneath, the collar of which was slightly open, making him look casual yet elegant.
His hair was shorter than before, and his face had a hint of fatigue, but his eyes were still deep.
"Xianyun." Bo Lizhan stopped in front of her, his voice low and gentle.
Su Xianyun's throat seemed to be blocked by something, and her eyes instantly became moist. She lowered her head, not wanting him to see her vulnerability, but tears still slid down her face. She raised her hand and wiped the corners of her eyes: "Long time no see."
Bo Lizhan looked at her, a trace of heartache flashing in his eyes. He sighed softly, "I know I shouldn't bother you, but I... I can't help but come. I've been thinking about you these past few months."
Su Xianyun raised her head and met his gaze. Her voice trembled slightly. "Why did you come? Didn't you already go to Singapore? Didn't you... give up?"
Bo Lizhan's brow furrowed slightly, his voice filled with anxiety. "I've never given up on you. I can't let you go. I heard from my colleagues that your mother passed away... I know you're sad, so I took the earliest flight back today to find you. I want to be with you."
Su Xianyun's tears welled up again. She bit her lower lip, trying hard not to cry out loud.
Bo Lizhan took a step forward and gently held her hand. His hand was warm and strong.
"Is it too late for me to come find you now? I saw you crying on a man's shoulder in the afternoon... Please don't be with others, okay? Am I too selfish? I can't lose you." Bo Lizhan's voice was low.
"That was my uncle, comforting me at that time." Su Xianyun explained.
Bo Lizhan grabbed her hand again.
"It's been so long, can you please forgive me?" Bo Lizhan said earnestly, "I miss you every day in Singapore. I couldn't get through to your phone. Did you block my number as well?"
Su Xianyun's heart trembled suddenly, she raised her head and looked into his eyes.
Bo Lizhan's eyes were filled with sincerity. She took a deep breath and spoke in a voice so soft that it was almost inaudible: "I don't know... I don't know if I can still trust you."
Bo Lizhan held her hand tightly and said firmly, "I know I've done a lot of wrong things in the past and have disappointed you. But I'm willing to spend the rest of my life making it up to you, as long as you give me a chance."
Su Xianyun's tears fell again. She lowered her head and choked up, "You know what? I dreamed last night that I was getting married. At the wedding, I found out that the person who kissed me was not you..."
Bo Lizhan's heart ached suddenly. He reached out and gently cupped her face, his fingertips gently wiping away her tears: "I have always cared about you, and that has never changed."
Su Xianyun finally burst into tears and threw herself into his arms.
Bo Lizhan hugged her tightly, his chin resting lightly on the top of her head. He said in a low voice, "I'm sorry for making you wait so long. I wanted to come back many times, but I was afraid you would push me away again."
Bo Lizhan's arms tightened, as if he wanted to rub her into his bones. His warm breath brushed against her ear. "It's my fault. Only after you left me did I realize how much you meant to me."
Her eyes suddenly became moist. Only his deep voice remained in her ears.
Bo Lizhan pulled a dark blue velvet box from his suit pocket and knelt on one knee. The afterglow of the setting sun shone on his profile, gilding his angular features.
"I bought this ring again." He opened the box, and a ring inlaid with blue diamonds sparkled brightly in the twilight. "Every time I want to come back to see you, I take it out to look at it. I'm afraid you're still angry, afraid that you won't forgive me..."
Her vision blurred and she was speechless.
"Marry me, please?" His voice was incredibly gentle. "Let me spend the rest of my life making up for my mistakes."
She held out her hand and watched him tremblingly slip the ring onto her finger. The diamond shone dreamily in the twilight.
Bo Lizhan stood up and pulled her into a hug. His heartbeat rang through his shirt. She closed her eyes, taking in the familiar, cool scent of him, the one she'd been dreaming of.
"I love you." He whispered in Su Xianyun's ear, "This time, I will never let you go."
