Flash Marriage with Dr. Huo

When Tang Xiaqing saw Huo Chenjun said he would be back for another week, she put down her phone and went to have breakfast.

The early morning sunlight gently shines through the gaps in the curtains and quietly falls on the warm dining table.

Tang Xiaqing sat at the table, her hair casually tied back, a few strands falling on either side of her face, adding a touch of softness and charm. She ate bread, her eyes occasionally gazing out the window at the azure sky, her thoughts seemingly drifting far away.

After breakfast, Tang Xiaqing got up and walked into the bedroom, where she began carefully selecting her clothes for going out. After a moment's thought, she chose a simple casual outfit—a white cashmere coat, light blue jeans, and a pair of white sneakers. She looked fresh and capable.

After packing up, Tang Xiaqing said goodbye to her parents and left the house. She decided to stay in the apartment she had bought earlier for a day.

The apartment is located near Tanghai Group and is a small apartment with two bedrooms and a living room.

When she opened the door of the apartment, a slightly unfamiliar smell hit her in the face. She hadn't been here for many days.

Tang Xiaqing walked into the bedroom, came to the window, opened the curtains, and let the sunlight pour into the room.

Around ten in the morning, sunlight filtered through thin clouds, gently pouring into the living room. Tang Xiaqing finished her yoga class in front of the TV in the living room, then sat on the sofa. She picked up her phone, dug out Lin Yunzheng's number, and dialed it.

After a few rings, the phone was connected. Tang Xiaqing's clear and pleasant voice came over: "Yun Zheng, good morning! Are you free today? I suddenly feel like going shopping. It feels like I haven't been shopping with you for a long time."

Lin Yunzheng's voice came from the other end of the phone: "I'm free, and I'm bored too. You called at the perfect time. My husband, Dr. Huo, is working overtime at the hospital again, and I'm alone at home, and I'm bored."

Tang Xiaqing became interested and said with a smile: "Doctor Huo is working overtime again. He is really dedicated to his work."

Lin Yunzheng sighed softly and said, "Yes, he is too responsible. Whenever something happens in the hospital, he rushes over there."

The two agreed to go shopping. After hanging up the phone, Tang Xiaqing put on some light daily makeup and went out to the mall.

After dinner, the two of them walked around the mall for a while and bought some daily necessities. At around 3:00 p.m., Lin Yunzheng's phone suddenly rang. It was Dr. Huo calling. Lin Yunzheng picked up the phone and listened to the voice on the other end of the phone with a happy smile on her face. After hanging up the phone, she said to Tang Xiaqing, "Dr. Huo said he had finished his overtime work and asked me where I was and would pick me up later."

Tang Xiaqing smiled and joked, "It seems that Dr. Huo is still thinking about you. But you have a baby now, so it's better to go back and rest early. Don't get tired."

After a while, Dr. Huo drove over and asked, "Sister-in-law, where's my brother? Should I take you back as well?"

Tang Xiaqing felt a little embarrassed when she heard the word "sister-in-law", after all, she was a few years younger than Dr. Huo.

"Chen Jun is on a business trip. I will go back by myself later, you guys go first." Tang Xiaqing responded.
