Flash Marriage with Dr. Huo

Just as Huo Chenjun put a spoonful of blueberry soufflé into Tang Xiaqing's mouth, his phone rang.

The call was from Mrs. Huo. Tonight, the housekeeper handed her an exquisite envelope with elegant handwriting written in gold ink.

At first, she didn't take it seriously, thinking it was just a daily matter or a social invitation, but when she opened the invitation and read the contents, her face immediately became serious.

The invitation clearly stated that her son, Huo Chenjun, would hold an engagement ceremony tomorrow. This was undoubtedly a bolt from the blue for Huo's mother, who had never known about this in advance. She had never even met her daughter-in-law.

Only after the meal did the two leave the table and go to the main house to visit Mrs. Huo.

At night, at the entrance of the Huo family's old house, the moonlight was as bright as water and the sky was dotted with stars.

Huo Chenjun and Tang Xiaqing walked into the living room of the villa. The air was filled with a faint scent of sandalwood, and everything seemed solemn and mysterious.

When the future mother-in-law saw Tang Xiaqing, the smile on her face froze instantly, and she seemed to have some resistance to this strange woman.

Her eyes were sharp and cold, and her words were filled with deliberate distance and scrutiny: "Chen Jun, I didn't expect you to choose a woman so much younger than you..." Her words were filled with criticism of the age gap and suspicion of Tang Xiaqing.

A hint of stubbornness flashed across Tang Xiaqing's originally calm face. She slowly raised her head and glanced at Huo Chenjun.
