Li Yifeng worked hard in the new company, trying to restart his career, but his past reputation was like a shadow that always hung over him.

One day, the company was discussing an important project plan. Li Yifeng actively expressed his views and put forward some creative suggestions.

"I think we can start from this angle, which can improve efficiency and save costs." Li Yifeng said passionately.

However, as soon as he finished speaking, his colleague Xiao Wang snorted disdainfully.

"You? What good ideas can you have? Don't forget what you did in the past." Xiao Wang said sarcastically.

Li Yifeng's face turned ugly in an instant. He opened his mouth and wanted to explain, but finally held back.

Another colleague, Xiao Li, echoed this, saying, "Yeah, who knows if your suggestion is reliable? Don't lead us astray."

Li Yifeng felt aggrieved and helpless. He took a deep breath and tried to stay calm.

"I just want to contribute to the project. I have really changed." Li Yifeng's voice was a little low.

But his colleagues didn't seem to believe him and looked at him with suspicion and rejection.

Later in his work, Li Yifeng clearly felt that his colleagues were deliberately distancing themselves from him. Every time he tried to join in the discussion, he was treated coldly.

Once, the company organized a team activity. Everyone was divided into groups to compete, and no one wanted to be in the same group with Li Yifeng.

"I don't want to be in the same group with him. Who knows if he will hold me back?" someone whispered.

Li Yifeng stood aside, feeling embarrassed and lost.

When assigning work tasks, Li Yifeng was always given the most basic and tedious work.

"Li Yifeng, go and organize these documents." The supervisor said casually.

Li Yifeng knew that this was a sign of his colleagues' distrust of him, but he still accepted the task silently.

Returning to his seat, he looked at the pile of documents in front of him, feeling mixed emotions.

"Why can't they give me a chance?" Li Yifeng sighed to himself.

One day, the company's computer system malfunctioned, affecting everyone's work progress. Li Yifeng, relying on his previously acquired computer knowledge, took the initiative to help solve the problem.

"Let me try and see if I can fix it." Li Yifeng said.

Colleagues were sneering and mocking.

"Huh, can you fix it? Don't make it worse."

But Li Yifeng ignored their questions and focused on finding the problem. After several hours of hard work, he finally succeeded in repairing the system.

"Okay, everyone can continue working." Li Yifeng said.

However, his colleagues just glanced at him indifferently without a word of thanks.

Li Yifeng felt discouraged. He didn't understand why his efforts were always not recognized.

One day at noon, everyone was eating in the cafeteria. Li Yifeng was sitting alone in a corner, eating silently. At this time, several colleagues walked past him, and one of them deliberately bumped into him.

"Oops, sorry, I didn't see you," the colleague said, but there was no trace of apology in his tone.

Li Yifeng's plate fell to the ground, and the food was scattered all over the floor. He suppressed his anger and quietly cleaned up the mess.

Back in the office, Li Yifeng sat in his seat, feeling extremely depressed.

"Will I never be able to get rid of the shadow of the past?" He looked out the window, his eyes full of confusion.

At this time, the supervisor came over.

"Li Yifeng, I know your colleagues have some misunderstandings about you, but as long as you persist in doing your best and prove yourself with practical actions, one day they will accept you," said the supervisor.

Li Yifeng nodded and said, "Thank you, Boss. I will try my best."

Despite being misunderstood and rejected by his colleagues, Li Yifeng still came to the company early every day and completed every task conscientiously. He believed that as long as he persevered, he would one day be able to change everyone's perception of him.

However, things were not that easy. Once, an important document was lost in the company, and everyone's eyes turned to Li Yifeng.

Li Yifeng felt extremely angry and aggrieved.

But no one believed him, and he was called into the supervisor's office.

"Li Yifeng, I hope it's not you, but this matter must be investigated thoroughly." The supervisor said seriously.

Li Yifeng clenched his fists and said, "Boss, I really didn't do it. You must believe me."

During the investigation, Li Yifeng was under tremendous pressure. The pointing and suspicious eyes of his colleagues made him almost breathless.

"I must find the truth and prove my innocence." Li Yifeng swore secretly.

After some effort, we finally found the real reason for the lost file. It turned out that a new colleague took it by mistake.

After the truth was revealed, his colleagues' attitude towards Li Yifeng remained unchanged. However, Li Yifeng did not give up. He continued to work hard and endured it all silently.
