Love and choices across time and space
Chapter 60 Happy Wedding
The first rays of morning sunlight gently shone across every corner of the city, as if draping this special day with a golden veil. Lin Wan'er woke early, her heartbeat like a cheerful drumbeat, excitement and nervousness mingling within her.
Lin Wan'er sat at her dressing table, her reflection in the mirror like a delicate flower about to bloom. The makeup artist expertly applied her makeup, each stroke a precious work of art. Lin Wan'er closed her eyes slightly, feeling the brush gently brush across her face, the image of Su Ran constantly surfacing in her mind.
"Wan'er, you will definitely be the most beautiful bride in the world today." The makeup artist said softly, her tone full of admiration.
Lin Wan'er opened her eyes and looked at herself in the mirror, her eyes gleaming with happiness. "Thank you."
Meanwhile, Su Ran was preparing in another room. He was dressed in a sharp black suit, a white shirt, and a sophisticated tie, looking handsome and elegant. An expectant smile graced his face, his eyes revealing both determination and tenderness.
"Su Ran, don't be nervous, today is your big day." The groomsmen joked.
Su Ran smiled and shook her head, "I'm not nervous, I just can't wait to see Wan'er."
The wedding venue was beautifully decorated, overflowing with a romantic and warm atmosphere. Flowers surrounded the stage, and ribbons fluttered gently in the breeze. Friends and family gradually took their seats, their faces filled with blessings, eager to witness the newlyweds' happy moment.
Lin Wan'er, accompanied by her bridesmaids, slowly walked towards the wedding stage. She wore a wedding dress as pure as snow, its hem as light and flowing as a dreamy cloud. A dazzling crown graced her head, and she held a bouquet of vibrant flowers in her hands. Each step she took was as light and steady as if treading on clouds.
Su Ran stood at the other end of the stage. The moment he saw Lin Wan'er, her figure was all he could see. His heartbeat quickened, and his breathing became rapid.
Lin Wan'er approached Su Ran step by step, her eyes full of love and anticipation. When she finally stood in front of Su Ran, he gently held her hand, his hand trembling slightly, conveying his inner excitement and nervousness.
"Wan'er, you are so beautiful." Su Ran's voice was a little hoarse, full of affection.
Lin Wan'er smiled shyly, "Thank you, Su Ran."
The wedding host walked onto the stage, his voice loud and emotional. "On this beautiful day, we welcome the wedding of Mr. Su Ran and Ms. Lin Wan'er. They have come a long way, through ups and downs, and today they are finally standing here, about to enter the palace of marriage."
There was warm applause from the audience, and relatives and friends gave the newlyweds their most sincere blessings.
Su Ran and Lin Wan'er stood facing each other, their eyes met, as if they were the only two people left in the whole world.
"Mr. Su Ran, are you willing to marry Ms. Lin Wan'er? No matter life, old age, sickness or death, no matter poverty or wealth, you will always be by her side, love her, cherish her, and respect her?" asked the host.
Su Ran answered without hesitation: "I do!"
"Ms. Lin Wan'er, are you willing to marry Mr. Su Ran and be his wife? No matter life, sickness, or death, no matter poverty or wealth, you will always be by his side, supporting him, understanding him, and trusting him?"
Lin Wan'er's voice was firm and clear: "I do!"
Su Ran gently put the ring on Lin Wan'er's finger. The ring shone brightly in the sunlight, symbolizing their eternal love. Lin Wan'er also put the ring on Su Ran's finger, and the two held hands tightly.
"Now, I declare that Mr. Su Ran and Ms. Lin Wan'er are officially husband and wife. Please ask the groom to kiss the bride!" After the host's voice fell, Su Ran gently held Lin Wan'er's face and kissed her affectionately.
Warm applause and cheers rang out from the audience again, and the entire wedding scene was immersed in an atmosphere of happiness and joy.
After the wedding, Lin Wan'er and Su Ran began to toast each table to thank relatives and friends for coming and their blessings.
"Wan'er, I wish you and Su Ran happiness forever!" said a relative.
"Thank you!" Lin Wan'er and Su Ran responded with a smile.
"Su Ran, you must take good care of Wan'er!" said a friend.
"Don't worry!" Su Ran said.
After the toast, Lin Wan'er and Su Ran took the stage and performed a duet of a love song. Their voices were so melodious and full of love that they moved everyone present.
As night fell, the wedding ceremony gradually came to an end amidst laughter and joy. Lin Wan'er and Su Ran left the wedding venue hand in hand, their hearts filled with anticipation and longing for a happy future.
Back in the new house, the room was decorated warmly and romantically, with red candles emitting soft light and rose petals covering the bed.
Su Ran gently closed the door and held Lin Wan'er in his arms. "Wan'er, from today on, you are my wife. I will spend my whole life loving you."
Lin Wan'er leaned in Su Ran's arms, "Su Ran, I will always love you, forever."
The two smiled at each other, their eyes filled with happiness and sweetness. That night, the flower of their love blossomed even more brilliantly.
