Multicolored light flowed slowly around the core of the origin, and the figure of the fused entity gradually became clear, like a reflection in water.

The spaceship's hatch opened, and countless alien creatures, each less than a meter tall, with blue skin and three eyes, peered into the ark.

"What kind of creatures are these?" Yan Jin asked, frowning, as green life energy gathered around him, ready to fight at any moment.

Just then, a blue beam of light shot out from the largest spaceship. After landing, the beam transformed into an alien creature dressed in a silver robe. He bowed slightly to the group and said in the universal language, "Respected guardians of the Cosmic Sea, we are explorers from the 'Technological Universe.' We mean no harm and simply wish to seek your assistance."

"A technological universe?"

The merged entity asked in confusion, "What happened in your universe? Why did you come here?"

The alien in the blue robe sighed, a sorrowful expression on its face: "Our universe has been invaded by a species called the 'Data Devourers'."

These creatures can devour all technological energy and data; our planet, our spaceships, even our consciousness data are being consumed. We are driven to desperation, and can only embark on our final exploration fleet to search the universe for civilizations that can help us.

“A data devourer?” Canglan frowned. “What is the energy form of this kind of creature? We’ve never heard of it before.”

"They have no physical form; they exist in the form of pure data energy."

The alien beings explained, "They can integrate into any technological device and spread through data networks at an extremely fast speed, which we simply cannot stop."
