Fantasy: The Counterattack of the Female Sovereign
Chapter 9: Sharing Life and Death: The Friendship of a Female Leader
Song Yao knelt in the dim basement, sweat dripping down her forehead, her breathing rapid and chaotic. The loss of control over her power had left her feeling an unprecedented fear, as if a wild beast within her were roaring, trying to break free. Elder Zhao stood beside her, his brow furrowed. He knew that if Song Yao's power remained unchecked, the consequences would be disastrous.
"Song Yao, you must calm down." Elder Zhao's voice revealed a hint of anxiety. "Your power needs to be guided, not suppressed."
Song Yao tried to regulate her breathing. She closed her eyes and tried to follow Elder Zhao's instructions to feel the power within her body. She imagined herself on a calm lake, the power like the water, needing her to guide its flow.
Gradually, she felt the violent force begin to subside, and her heartbeat gradually returned to normal. She opened her eyes and saw the relief in Elder Zhao's eyes.
"Very good, you did it." Elder Zhao nodded, "But this is just the beginning. You need more practice to fully master this power."
Over the next few days, Song Yao began her arduous training under Elder Zhao's guidance. She learned how to sense the spiritual energy around her, how to draw it into her body, and how to transform it into her own strength. Every day, she could feel her progress, her strength steadily increasing.
At the same time, Su Ran often came to the basement to bring Song Yao food and water, and encouraged her to keep working hard. His support made Song Yao feel warm, and she knew she was not alone.
"Song Yao, I believe you can master this power." Su Ran said with a smile, "You have never been an ordinary person."
Song Yao nodded gratefully. She knew that Su Ran's words were not only encouragement, but also a sign of trust in her. She was determined to live up to this trust and become stronger.
One night, while Song Yao was cultivating, she heard a sudden movement in the basement. She immediately became alert, sensing a powerful aura approaching. Elder Zhao and Su Ran also sensed this presence, and the three quickly prepared for battle.
Soon, a mysterious man in a black cloak appeared at the entrance to the basement. His eyes were as sharp as a knife, and he exuded a strong sense of oppression.
"Song Yao, I feel your power. You are stronger than I thought." The mysterious man's voice was low and threatening. "However, your power is not stable yet. I can easily take it away."
Song Yao felt a surge of anger in her heart. She knew she couldn't let this mysterious man succeed. She quickly mobilized her strength and prepared to fight.
A fierce battle ensued, and Song Yao engaged in a fierce duel with the mysterious figure. Elder Zhao and Su Ran also joined the fray, and the three of them joined forces to defeat this formidable foe. During the battle, Song Yao discovered that her powers were constantly being stimulated, allowing her to perform techniques she had never attempted before.
However, the mysterious man's power was extremely strong, and he seemed to know Song Yao's power very well. In a fierce confrontation, Song Yao was hit by the mysterious man, and her body flew out and hit the wall heavily.
Seeing this, Su Ran immediately rushed towards Song Yao, trying to protect her. The mysterious man took the opportunity to launch a fatal attack, aiming directly at Song Yao. At this critical moment, Su Ran blocked the attack with his body.
Song Yao watched in horror as Su Ran fell into her arms. His chest had been struck by the mysterious man's attack, and his clothes were stained red with blood. A strong sense of grief and anger surged in her heart, and her strength completely erupted at this moment.
Song Yao's power was like a volcanic eruption, and the entire basement was filled with her power. The mysterious man was shocked by this power, and fear appeared in his eyes for the first time.
"Su Ran!" Song Yao's voice was filled with despair and anger, and her strength reached its peak at this moment.
Elder Zhao took the opportunity to launch an attack and repelled the mysterious man. The mysterious man knew that the situation was not good and quickly fled the basement.
Song Yao hugged Su Ran tightly, her tears dripping onto his face. She could feel his life slipping away, and she had to find a way to save him. She closed her eyes and began to mobilize her strength, trying to heal Su Ran's wounds.
Elder Zhao stood aside, his eyes filled with worry. He knew that although Song Yao's power was strong, it was not enough to heal such a serious injury. He had to find another way to save Su Ran.
