My wife is too strong, Mr. Chu can't stand it

Chapter 38 Taking Grandma Back to Her Parents' Home

It was getting late, so Chu Heng went back to the house to rest. There was a flat wooden bed without even a mattress, just a quilt and a mat on top.

Su Jin lay there quietly and slept soundly.

He hesitated for a moment before lying down, keeping some distance between him and Su Jin. However, the bed was really uncomfortable, and Chu Heng took a long time to fall asleep. He also got up early in the morning.

Su Jin still slept until noon, but was still woken up by the heat.

He sat up a little irritably and put his hand on his lower back. It was too hard and his waist hurt.

He frowned and thought that it might be better to sleep in the car at night.

When Su Jin got up and went out, he saw the clothes hanging on the bamboo poles outside. He tilted his head and watched the bodyguard catching chickens in the chicken coop. There were people waiting outside, and they were starting to sell them.

He turned to face Chu Heng who came out of the kitchen. He had lit a fire and was covered in dust, and was taking pictures.

"Awake?" Chu Heng asked him. Thanks to the noise, Su Jin was still able to sleep until now. However, it was still much earlier than usual. You know, it was only nine o'clock.

Su Jin nodded and walked into the kitchen to find something to eat. He was hungry.

Chu Heng followed him in and took out the eggs he had cooked that morning, as well as a can of milk. "Just eat it. The chicken soup is still cooking."

Chu Heng pointed to the pot on the stove. He had just put it in, but it was not cooked yet.

Su Jin glanced at it and asked, "You can do this?"

"No, I looked up a tutorial online and bought a pack of chicken soup dumplings. The taste shouldn't be too bad." Chu Heng explained, "I didn't intend to go to such lengths, but grandma insisted on making it for you."

Su Jin casually cracked the egg twice, rolled it on the table, and sat down to slowly peel the shell. "It's really generous to him to be so stingy."

Chu Heng glanced outside, making sure everyone was busy before whispering, "Grandma is really good to you."

Chu Heng was naturally referring to the deceased Xiao Jin, but since Su Jin has become him now, this kindness will also belong to Su Jin.

Su Jin didn't care about this. He didn't have many emotions and wouldn't be nice to people, but he wouldn't tolerate anyone bullying Su Qingyu.

Seeing that he was silent, Chu Heng continued to talk about the situation of Wang Dexi's family. "They were sent to the hospital last night, and they haven't come back yet. And it's not just that couple."

Su Jin narrowed his eyes. He was using Liu Cuiping's hair as a lure, but he had cast a curse that anyone with ill intentions towards Su Jin and Su Qingyu would be stabbed, so Su Jin only uttered two words, "Serves you right."

Chu Heng chuckled, sat down next to him and asked seriously, "Would you do this to me? Sew me up with needle and thread because you think I talk too much?"

"I wouldn't mind if you want to try."

"I don't want to." Chu Heng refused directly, paused and added, "Just a verbal lesson will be enough."

Su Jin was too lazy to pay attention to him. After dinner, he went out for a stroll with an umbrella. His body was too weak. Even if he stopped taking the medicine now, it would take time to recover. Moderate exercise would help him lose weight and strengthen his physique. He had used a lot of strength in that kick yesterday, which made him very unhappy.

After a day, Su Qingyu watched the pigs and chickens she raised being sold. She felt very sad, but she couldn't stop it.

She wanted to do something, but her feet were not convenient. She was not allowed to walk on her own. When she moved, several pairs of eyes looked at her, so she had to be obedient. Even when she had to do something, someone accompanied her the whole time. It was so uncomfortable.

Chu Heng had no choice but to take out his tablet and let Su Qingyu watch TV. After a brief communication, he played a period drama for her, which gave her something to do.

After two days of rest, the swelling of my ankle, which had been soaked in medicine, finally subsided and I could barely walk on my own, but my bones still hurt.

Su Jin couldn't stay here anymore. The bed was too hard and the car was too small. It would be better to sleep in a tent.

On the third day, Su Jin got up early for the first time, and knocked Su Qingyu unconscious with an injection. He urged her to leave quickly with a dark face.

A group of people got in the car and set off. Su Jin asked the driver to take a detour. When passing by Wang Dexi's house, she lowered the car window and threw the unused red thread in. She raised her middle finger to the couple who were kicked out and silently cursed them as rubbish.

Chu Heng was speechless watching this provocative and childish behavior, especially the couple. Although they could open their mouths now, they had become completely mute. They opened and closed their mouths but no sound came out.

Chu Heng suspected that if Su Jin hadn't been unable to eat after having her mouth sewn up, she would have wanted to keep it sewn up for the rest of her life. In the end, it was only sewn up for an hour, and before arriving at the hospital, her mouth was untied, but she could no longer make any sound.

Half an hour later they arrived at Su Qingyu's parents' home. Chu Heng had already found out the specific location and went directly to the door of Su Qingyu's sister's house.

Su Qinglan's home is in the town, a building in a new rural area. When the car stopped, Su Jin gave Su Qingyu an injection to wake her up. Seeing her wake up in a daze, Chu Heng communicated with her for a long time before getting out of the car excitedly.

Before she went upstairs and knocked on the door, Su Qingyu was stopped by a voice. It was also an elderly figure, who walked towards her excitedly. The old sisters who had not seen each other for a long time held each other's hands tightly and talked.

It was more than ten minutes after they calmed down and Su Qinglan finally remembered to take them home to sit down.

Chu Heng asked the bodyguard to wait downstairs and he followed with the gifts. The house had three bedrooms and two living rooms, and was over 100 square meters, which was quite spacious.

Sitting on the sofa, Su Jin was pulled by Su Qinglan and asked a lot of questions. Su Jin frowned slightly and didn't understand a word. Finally, Chu Heng took over and explained the situation to Su Qinglan.

Su Qinglan was very happy to know that Su Qingyu was going to Beijing to enjoy herself. She kept praising Su Jin for being filial and capable. Chu Heng responded with a few words and asked about Su Qinglan's children and grandchildren, but unfortunately none of them worked in Beijing. In the end, Chu Heng could only say a few polite words.

After having lunch at Su Qinglan's house, they went to the village in the afternoon. This was Su Qingyu's parents' home.

However, Su Qingyu had four brothers and sisters. The eldest brother died early and never got married. The eldest sister also died more than 20 years ago, so the old house was long gone.

Su Qinglan married nearby, and her husband's family built a two-story house, which was enough for her to live in.

Su Qinglan took Su Qingyu to visit the neighbors. Since they hadn't been back for many years, they were considered guests. The neighbors were quite kind, but the most important thing was the two cars and bodyguards, which looked very impressive.

When night fell, Su Jin came out of the shower and stood at the door to cool off. His eyes swept across the dark mountain and his brows unconsciously frowned.

Xiao Jin and Chu Yuandong have become familiar with each other and are discussing where to go for fun tomorrow. Xiao Jin has been here before and knows a place that is particularly interesting.

Su Jin listened and lowered her voice to remind him, "Don't run around, you two."

Xiao Jin and Chu Yuandong immediately ran over to ask what was going on. Su Jin placed her finger on the armrest and pointed, "There's something in this mountain."

thing?

Xiao Jin and Chu Yuandong looked at each other and immediately confirmed that what Su Jin was talking about was definitely not a human or a beast, but a dirty thing.

Although they are also dirty things, Su Jin reminded them that the thing must be more powerful than them, and if they run around, they might be eaten.

The two ghosts immediately nodded in agreement and resolutely stayed by Su Jin's side without running around.
