Ultra: Dragon Sword Journey

Chapter 461: The Disappearing Street, Space Thief Shimara

It was a crisp autumn evening, the sun gradually setting in the west, its afterglow shimmering over every corner of the town, draping it in a golden veil. As usual, the townspeople finished their day's work and returned home, enjoying this peaceful and beautiful moment.

However, on this seemingly ordinary evening, no one noticed that in an unknown corner, an alien named Himara quietly landed on Earth.

Himara stood on a high point near the town, overlooking everything below. He wore a black cloak and a wide-brimmed hat, holding an exquisite box in his hands, which shone with a strange light. His figure, illuminated by the setting sun, looked mysterious and eerie.

"This town is so beautiful at dusk," Himara murmured softly, "Let this place become my proud collection!" Its voice revealed a love and possessiveness for this place.

As Ximara spoke, a breeze blew, ruffling his cloak and vaguely revealing his head. It bore a striking resemblance to the Crow Man leader who had appeared before, with the same scarlet eyes, but without the Crow Man's beak-like mouth.

Ximara stood there quietly, gazing at the town as if admiring a precious work of art. After a while, he took out a communicator from his pocket and found the channel of the Super Victory Team.

Ximara sent them a message through the communicator, which roughly said, "I am Ximara from another dimension. From now on, this town belongs to me."

The Super Victory Team's command room was a scene of bustle. Aside from Asuka and Kariya, who were out on their daily patrols in their Serret vehicles, the other team members were each focused on their tasks. The sound of pens scratching across paper blended with the hum of conversation, creating a unique work atmosphere.

Ryo and Mai were sitting at the table, enthusiastically discussing the models of communications equipment. They flipped through the information, arguing over the pros and cons of various devices.

In another corner, Koda and Nakajima diligently sorted through recent monster files. They meticulously analyzed each report, trying to identify patterns in the monsters' appearances and weaknesses. The two exchanged opinions frequently, their discussion intensely engaging.

Suddenly, a siren blared, shattering the stillness of the command room. Nakajima, clutching a stack of documents, was about to descend the stairs to put them away when he suddenly stumbled, lost his balance, and fell headfirst into the main control computer system.

With a "bang", Nakajima hit the computer hard. Then, the printer in front of him seemed to be stimulated by something and began to spit out paper frantically.

"What? What happened?" Nakajima got up from the ground with a bewildered look on his face. He clearly hadn't realized what had happened yet. He stared at the printer in confusion, muttering to himself, "I don't think I hit any emergency buttons!"

Hearing the alarm, Mai quickly dropped her work and rushed over. A hint of worry crossed her face. After all, she was in charge of the main computer control system, and if anything went wrong, the consequences would be disastrous.

"What's wrong? Is the equipment broken?" Mai asked anxiously while checking the condition of the computer and printer.

Nakajima explained incoherently: "No, you see, I didn't break it..."

Seeing this, Liang quickly put down the file in his hand and walked quickly to Nakajima, "What happened to you? Did you accidentally hit a button just now? There has never been a problem before!"

Nakajima waved his hands hastily, and said anxiously, "Wait...let me explain. This really wasn't me. I didn't touch anything!"

However, his explanation did not convince Ryo and Mai, who still insisted that it was Nakajima who broke the printer.

"It's you who did it, it's you!" Mai pointed at Nakajima and said bluntly.

For a moment, the office was filled with quarrels. Nakajima, Mai and Liang each insisted on their own opinions and refused to give in. No one was willing to admit that it was their fault.

Just then, Zhao Ming walked in and happened to see the printer spitting out a long piece of paper, while Nakajima, Mai and Liang were arguing in front of the printer.

He couldn't help but frown and shouted, "What are you doing? If the printer is broken, why don't you just replace it? Why are you making such a fuss?"

Zhao Ming's appearance temporarily calmed the argument, and everyone turned to look at him. Zhao Ming approached the printer and took a closer look. Suddenly, he realized that the paper spitted out by the printer was not an ordinary piece of paper, but had black fonts on it.

"There are words on it!" Zhao Ming reminded.

When Liang heard this, he immediately gave up arguing with Nakajima, and came over with the others to take the notes that were constantly being printed.

Everyone's attention was attracted by the mysterious note. Even the new cute pet Hanaijiro flapped his wings, flew over from the corner, landed on Zhao Ming's shoulder, and looked around curiously.

"The town is mine, Shimara?" Koda read out the strange order word by word.

Everyone listened to these words with confusion on their faces. When these words were read together, it seemed like a carefully planned prank.

Zhao Ming said in surprise, "This is truly bizarre. Aliens come to Earth to steal things and even greet you first!"

"Don't you think this is a prank?" Liang looked at him, her eyes full of confusion. She thought this was simply unbelievable.

Zhao Ming hesitated for a moment and said, "It's hard to say. Let's investigate it first!" The image of the cosmic thief Himara who loved beautiful things instantly emerged in his mind. These alien guys will never understand that beautiful things can only be viewed from a distance and not desecrated.

"Mai, can you find out which area this message was sent from?" Kibi Gosuke looked at her and asked anxiously.

"Block 12." Mai told everyone the results of the counter-tracking.

Kibi Gosuke acted decisively and ordered, "Mai, immediately contact Kariya and Asuka who are on patrol, and have them rush over to check what's going on..."

"Understood!" Mai did not dare to delay and immediately called Asuka and Kariya.

Kariya and Asuka were leisurely driving their patrol car, careening through a neighborhood they knew so well. The sun was setting, its soft afterglow like a golden veil, gently casting a shadow over the car's body. A gentle breeze blew away some of the fatigue.

They enjoyed this rare leisure time to the fullest, and a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere filled the car.

At this moment, the communicator in the car suddenly made a sharp sound, and Mai's voice came: "Kariya, Asuka, go to District 12 immediately to investigate the Shimara incident."

Their expressions instantly grew serious, their earlier ease vanishing without a trace. Kariya quickly turned the steering wheel, changing the car's direction, while Asuka gripped the car's armrest tightly. The car sped down the street, the scenery outside the window flashing by quickly.

"What is that...what is Shimara?" Asuka looked at Kariya and asked in confusion. This order was really difficult for him to understand.

Kariya replied calmly, "Shimara is just Shimara. It's because we don't know what it is that we need to investigate."

Kariya held the steering wheel steadily as the patrol car slowly drove along the road of Block 12. Outside the window, the sun was setting slowly, its afterglow illuminating every corner of the street.

The silhouettes of pedestrians were stretched out, their faces filled with satisfied smiles, and they strolled leisurely, chatting. High up in the street, a sharp-eyed old man was chatting and laughing with his neighbors.

He inadvertently glanced up at the top of the street and saw an alien wearing a cloak and holding a box appear out of thin air. It had a strange body and a huge head, and its eyes were red and flashing with strange light.

The alien raised his hand and tossed out a piece of red paper. It rapidly grew in size in the air, blanketing the area. Wherever the paper touched, a shimmering light appeared, and a strange spatial force permeated the air.

In the blink of an eye, the red paper completely engulfed the entire area, drowning everything in its dazzling red glow. As the light gradually faded, the once bustling Twelve Street District vanished without a trace, as if it had never existed...
