Xiao Yi wasn't as relaxed as he'd appeared to be about what had happened today. The first thing he did upon returning to his apartment was move. The security of his apartment wasn't high, and if those people found their way here, the gossipy Zhuo Yi downstairs wouldn't be able to stop them. For his and Sky's safety, he decided to move to a more secure location.

Having thought so, he took action and packed up the clothes of the two of them. Other items were left untouched for the time being. Except for the necessary supplies and spare clothes, everything else remained here.

After he had moved his things down and sat in the car, he immediately got out and changed into another pink sports car. Yes, this car was given to him by his father after he had painted his father's car Barbie pink.

As soon as the car drove out onto the wide road, I immediately called Sky, and the phone was connected shortly after it rang.

"Yi, why are you calling me suddenly?" Sky took the phone handed to him by his agent and answered it immediately after seeing the caller ID.

"Let's stay somewhere else today. I'll pick you up later. When will your job be over?" He kept an eye on his surroundings while driving, trying to prevent another fearless car from blocking the road.

Sky was confused, not understanding why they suddenly had to change locations. But given his trust in him, he didn't question it further. "I'm at the end of this place. You can leave directly after you come over."

Two minutes after he drove off, several cars pulled up at the apartment building's entrance. The sight of dozens of people frightened Zhuo Yi, but as the building's manager, he still approached them and asked, "Are you here looking for someone?"

The leader glanced her up and down and asked, "Which floor and room does Xiao Yi live in?"

Zhuo Yi watched them leave, their angry expressions on his face, his words unclear to him. One of them returned and said, "If you see him coming back, give us a call. We'll give you a generous reward." He left his phone number and left without waiting for a reply.

The people who had returned to the car spoke up to break the silence: "Boss, should we continue chasing?"

"Is that even a question? Xiao Si, check for me how many other places he lives. I don't believe a blanket search will not find him."

"What if we can't find it?"

"Can't find it? Humph, then let's just jump into the sea and save the oil."

"Boss, we are not in the country after all. We don't have connections for many things here."

"Do you still need me to teach you something this simple?" The middle-aged man, a cigarette butt dangling from the corner of his mouth, his hands on the steering wheel, his deep eyes filled with an unfathomable darkness. Xiao Si, braced for action, felt his heart race as the car started moving. Watching the boss at the intersection, if he hadn't been strapped in, his legs would have practically given out and he'd fallen off the seat. Before he could even swerve left, Xiao Si trembled as he called out, "Boss, that's the wrong way around!" The boss, alerted, quickly turned the steering wheel back, keeping a calm demeanor.

Xiao Yi, who had picked up Sky, kept a close eye on his surroundings, fearing another car might cut him off. Sky, sensing something was amiss, knew now wasn't the right time to question him, so he waited silently for him to pull into the luxurious new campus. From the entrance inspection and the security patrol, it was clear the security here was much higher than before.

After successfully returning to his new residence, Xiao Yi finally breathed a sigh of relief. Relaxed, he apologized to Sky, who was unaware of anything, and said, "Sorry, something happened here. In order to prevent them from finding you and taking action, you will have to stay here for a while."

"Did something serious happen?"

"It's not that serious. It's just that a few elderly people in the family are getting old and want to make a final effort to jump around in the last stage of their lives to show their presence."

"I see. It's a good thing we don't have any activities these days, so we don't have to go out. It's nice to stay here." For their ancient family, the water inside was definitely not as bright as the surface.

They lived peacefully here, and those outside who were looking for them were going crazy. Finally, with no other options, they took a risky tactic and attacked Sky's father. After several days of scouting the area and keeping watch on those who were secretly protecting him, they found an opportunity and successfully kidnapped him when he was out shopping again. Rain's situation was similar, and he was successfully captured.

So when the photos of their arrest were sent to Sky's phone, his first instinct was to find Xiao Yi. But when he saw him caring for an elderly woman at the door, he retracted his foot. As he paced around the room, he couldn't get the image of his father and Rain tied up out of his mind. Finally, he made a decision: to rely on his own abilities to rescue them.

Having made up his mind, he immediately changed his clothes and quickly opened the door to leave when Xiao Yi's attention was not on him. He had been wearing a mask and a hat since he left, carefully avoiding the bodyguards patrolling downstairs.

After chatting with his mother for a while and sending her back, Xiao saw Sky's closed door and thought he was still asleep, so he returned to his room.
