Traveling through Thailand
Chapter 185 A bright future
As soon as these words were spoken, Tu Cha nervously waved her hands repeatedly and her speech became incoherent.
"no no."
"Tay I'm not. I'm serious with you."
"I just don't know how to say it."
"Believe me, I didn't cheat."
"I, it's just that this matter is too unbelievable. I'm afraid that you might think I'm mentally ill."
"Tay, I didn't, really."
Tay held Tu Cha's incoherent words in his hands and wiped away his tears with his fingers. His gentle touch temporarily calmed him down.
At this moment, Tu Cha felt the warmth of his hands on her cheeks. Tears welled up in his eyes as he looked at the person in front of him and said aggrievedly, "I really didn't."
Seeing his pitiful expression, Tay sighed inwardly. He knew full well whether Tucha had been cheating on him or not. His daily routine was simple: apartment → school → shop. He knew even more about the contents of his phone. He knew exactly who he contacted and what he said to each person.
It wasn't that he was possessive and didn't give Tucha any freedom. It was that Tucha would report her schedule every day, who she had chatted with on her phone, which customers she had added, and so on. These were all things he would talk about at the dinner table.
But none of that was what he wanted to know. What he wanted to know was the secret they shared, buried deep in their hearts. He wanted to know what secret had made Tucha feel so lost these past few days. He had considered starting with Jom, but he was afraid that Tucha would be angry if she knew, and it would create a rift in their relationship.
Tay ruffled his soft hair and said, "Tu, I don't want any rift between us because of him."
Tucha clenched her fists, her mind racing. One part of her was telling him the truth, whether he believed it was true or not, or whether he'd be hospitalized for mental illness. The other part was telling him she couldn't tell him. If he knew they'd spent so much time together in the other world, and now he was so consumed by his affairs, what would happen if he thought they were having an affair?
After waiting for a long time, unable to see any sign of relaxation in his eyes, Tay sighed. This time, the sigh inexplicably made Tucha stiffen. Noticing the man standing up and about to leave, he suddenly stood up and hugged him from behind: "I said, don't leave."
The moment these words left his mouth, Tucha felt a surge of weakness throughout his body. If it weren't for his arms tightly wrapped around his waist, he might have already fallen to the ground.
Tu Cha's face was pressed tightly against his back, and his voice slowly emerged from his trembling vocal cords.
No one saw the shock on Tay's face as he listened quietly to his story. When he mentioned the word "time travel," he had a vague idea why Jom had woken up so late, despite being relatively unharmed. Now he had found the reason: his soul had traveled back in time.
When the person behind him told him he'd been kidnapped and had his throat slit, Tay's anger surged. He felt even more heartbroken for how frightened Tucha must have been. He was even angrier at himself for having been tougher that day and gone with him to the bar to pick him up. Perhaps he would have had a place in the vast army of time travelers.
Tay turned around and hugged the person tightly: "I'm sorry I couldn't be with you at that time."
Tu Cha shook her head: "It's my fault. I made you feel insecure."
"So, with all the abnormal behavior these past few days, do you have a way to send him back?"
Tu Cha nodded: "Yeah."
"Is this a bad idea?"
"Yeah." Tu Cha buried her head deeper in his arms.
At this point, Tay finally understood everything. He comforted the child in his arms, "Why not tell him the solution? It's up to him to decide what to do in the end."
Tay waited for a long time, so long that he thought there would be no answer. Then Tucha spoke: "If he goes back, he will no longer be seen in this era. I don't want him to disappear."
Moreover, he disappeared in public. If he were to be sent back like that, people of that era would surely regard him as a monster. The situation between them would then only become more difficult.
While they were still debating whether to tell him how to get back home, the worried man came to the old Phalathip house with his packed food. He went up to the attic and saw the familiar box. He opened it with the key and saw the familiar drawing paper inside.
Every picture on it was drawn by him. After reading the drawing paper, he took out the envelope inside.
When he saw the envelope, he knew it was written to him. After reading the contents of the letter, he couldn't stop crying. He recalled every moment he had spent with him, those beautiful memories, now only he could remember.
Heartbroken, he didn't notice someone approaching from behind. He stopped crying when he heard a familiar voice. He couldn't believe his ears; he was hearing the voice he remembered.
He slowly turned his head to look, first at the shoes, then the legs, then the thighs, then the stomach... The moment he saw the face, the letter in his hand slipped onto his legs.
"Y, Yai?"
"Jom."
He couldn't believe his eyes and rubbed them several times. The person in front of him was indeed standing there.
"You, how did you get here?"
Yai walked over and helped the man up, his eyes filled with longing and love: "I live in this era."
"what?"
"Some time ago, I was abroad. For some reason, I dreamed about you every night. Later, after you disappeared from my dream, I remembered that you were the one who managed the house renovations, so I rushed back without stopping. Sure enough, you were the one in my dream."
After hearing his explanation, Jom felt happy and relieved.
The two hugged each other tightly, absorbing the warmth from each other.
-------------------------------------
Tu Cha sucked the pearls one after another, his eyes scanning back and forth over them.
"So... you've awakened your memories from your past life. And you didn't tell me right away after meeting the person you loved!!"
Jom, struck by Tucha's resentful gaze, scratched his nose awkwardly and said, "Well, I was so happy that I forgot to tell you."
"Hmph, I was worried you wouldn't be able to get out. I didn't expect you'd find me and not tell me. If Tay hadn't dragged me out shopping, when would you have remembered to tell me?" These past few days of worrying were a waste of time. Hmph, if he had known there were such things as past lives and present lives, he wouldn't have had to dwell on it for so long. It almost set his own roof on fire.
Tucha chewed the pearls vigorously, his eyes fixed on Jom. Under his gaze, Jom knew that what he had done was wrong. Fighting the urge to escape, he held onto Yai's arm, gathering a little courage to support Tucha's gaze.
"Well, you should be happy that he had a happy ending. And her boyfriend is still around, so give him some face."
Tay was quite happy with this situation. After all, Tucha truly considered him a friend, and if he truly departed from this world, he would surely be heartbroken. This would leave Jom with an indelible place in his heart, something he didn't want to see. Therefore, Tay was very happy with this solution.
Tucha hugged his arm, curled her lips, raised her head and said, "Hmph, then let it be."
