As they were arguing about who had called, Pha realized that the lights across the street should be on at this time. But now it was completely dark, and no lights were on across the street. Thinking back to when he came back from the bathroom at noon, his face turned very bad.

The more she thought about it, the more worried she became. She immediately went out. Her parents saw their daughter rushing across the street with a serious face, and they swallowed their words to ask why she ran out when it was almost time for dinner.

"What's wrong with her? She looks so bad?"

"He was so happy when he came back at noon, why did he become so unhappy at night?"

"Did she have a fight with Tang?"

“Shouldn’t it be?!”

The two looked at each other, one took off the apron around her body, and the other put down the newspaper in her hand, and they walked towards Tang Xi's house together.

As soon as I got downstairs, I heard my daughter calling, "Brother Tang."

Hearing the screams, they immediately ran upstairs.

"What happened to Pha?"

Pha anxiously picked up the feverish and confused Tang Xi, but she didn't have enough strength. Hearing her father's voice behind her, she looked in the direction of the person coming with shining eyes: "Dad, hurry up, Brother Tang has a fever. Take him to the hospital."

When they heard that Tang Xi had a fever, they immediately ran over. Seeing that his body was flushed with fever, they knew they couldn't wait.

"Quick, drive the car out." Pha's father spoke to his wife as he picked up the child. Before carrying the child out the door, he said to his daughter, "Call your brother right away. Seriously, his boyfriend is sick, how could he not come back to take care of him?"

Pha picked up the phone and called his brother immediately, but after hearing what his father said next, he didn't know whether he should make the call or not.

How should she tell her father that the relationship between him and his brother was just ordinary brotherhood, not the love they claimed to have?

"Ah, forget it. The most important thing now is Brother Tang." After saying that, he ran while calling his brother.

Pat was very confused when he received the call. Why should he take care of his sick son by himself? Isn't it enough to have his sister by his side?

Even though he thought so, he still stood up and left the room. He closed the door and was about to go straight in, but then he remembered Pran's special feelings for Tang Xi. Although he felt indescribably awkward, he still went forward and knocked on his door.

Pran opened the door and saw the person coming and was confused: "What's wrong?"

"Tang is sick. Pha said he's seriously ill. Do you want to go with me to see him?"

"Sick? Wasn't he fine yesterday?" Pran frowned, but then he remembered that he had left last night with a large part of his clothes wet. And it was nighttime, and although the weather wasn't cold, the temperature was still a bit low.

"Okay, I got it. You go ahead, I'll be there in a minute."

Pat looked at the door that closed with a bang. He wanted to say that he would go together. But before he could open his mouth, the door was closed.

Sure enough, Pran is special to him.

Pat was filled with jealousy. Although he didn't understand why he felt this way, he knew that Pran was different from others in his heart. However, he didn't know what this difference meant.

Pran opened the door again and found that Pat had not left. He frowned: "You didn't go first?"

"Let's go there together."

"That's not good. If your parents see it, there will be another quarrel."

"It's okay, we just need to be careful." After saying that, he directly grabbed the other person's wrist, and his strength was so strong that Pran frowned.

He subconsciously tried to break free, but this time the other party didn't give him a chance.

Pran just looked at his hand holding her wrist and walked behind him. It was not until she got into his car that she realized that things between them should not be like this.

Tang Xi was sent to the hospital and was given an IV drip, with Pha and her mother beside him.

"Mom, you and Dad go back. I'll take care of it here."

"Did you call your brother?"

"I called, they should be here soon."

"Well, then I'll wait until he arrives before leaving."

In her mind, Tang Xi's severe fever must have been her son's fault. Therefore, as his mother, she felt obligated to teach him to take good care of Tang Xi. And how could she have let him come back alone after that incident? And now, he's in such a state of fever. If it weren't for her sister's carefulness, the child might have been burned to death.

Thinking of this, she glanced at her daughter sitting next to her and could only sigh in her heart that life is so unpredictable.

Ten minutes later, Pat arrived at the inpatient department. He saw his mother and sister sitting there, and then looked at Tang Xi, whose face was still red. He walked in quietly and said, "Mom, why is my sister's face still so red?"

Hearing her son's voice, she rolled her eyes and said, "Huh, the temperature has dropped quite a bit. You didn't see that before, the temperature was high enough to fry an egg. Also, why are you so late?" The more she talked, the more she felt that her son was not a very good candidate.

When questioned by his mother, Pat subconsciously touched his nose bridge and said: "I am not familiar with the hospital. I took many wrong turns."

"Humph, you even got the wrong hospital inpatient department. I really don't know why this kid Tang fell in love with you."

"Why, isn't it? Tang has always been in good health. How could he suddenly have a fever if there were no external reasons?"

Pat, who was confused, looked at his mother who despised him very much, then looked at Tang Xi who was lying in bed with a high fever, and his sister who was covering her face.

Pat pulled the corner of his mouth and asked in disbelief: "Mom, you said the reason Tang got sick... was because of me?" He pointed his finger at himself as he spoke.

His mother crossed her arms and raised her chin. "Isn't it? Your father told me last night that he was in your room. What? You still want to quibble?!"

Pat slapped his forehead; he knew this was going to happen. He wanted to explain, but knowing his mother's personality, she'd think anything he said would just be a quibble. He could only wait for Tang Xi to wake up, then he and his parents would explain the situation. Pha, already aware of the truth, covered his mouth with his hands and chuckled secretly.

After sending the person away, my ears, which had been listening to my mother muttering for more than ten minutes, could finally rest.

When he turned back to the ward, he thought of Pran who was still waiting somewhere, and he immediately sent him a message.

"My mother is gone, come up."

"I know. I'm already at the door of the ward."

He had been hiding in a corner, observing them. As soon as his mother left, he walked into the ward. After greeting Pha, he stood beside her and asked about Tang Xi's current situation.

After confirming that his temperature was slowly cooling down and gradually returning to normal, I felt relieved.

He knew that people who rarely got sick could become seriously ill when they did. And the ointment hanging on the doorknob last night indicated that he had brought more ointment after returning home. They were half responsible for his illness. So, no matter what, he and Pat had to come to the hospital to see him.

Watching all this, the small ladder was suspended in the air. Because no one could see it, it was swaying in front of everyone very blatantly.

"Alas, I've been with you guys for so long that I've forgotten that ordinary people can't see me."
