Traveling through Thailand
Chapter 141 Misunderstanding
I'd asked him if he wanted to bind, just to set it up in advance. If he'd agreed, he'd have gone back to apply. But why was he proactively asking now? It was because he was bored and wanted to bind to a temporary host to pass the time.
The little ladder left, and Tang Xi also felt that the room was empty and quiet. He took a deep breath and smiled helplessly: "As expected, after getting used to the hustle and bustle, returning to the quiet is really uncomfortable."
Life returned to normal. Every day, besides going to school, he would come home to eat dinner with Pha, and occasionally go to her house for dinner, until this day. If he had known that this misunderstanding would happen, he would never have heard them seek a referee and come to their residence so late at night.
He had just come out of the bathroom after finishing his meal and homework, his hair still wet when the phone rang, breaking the silence.
When he picked up the phone and saw that the caller ID was Pat, he wondered why he was calling so late, wondering if something had happened.
As soon as I answered the phone, I heard a lot of chatter on the other end. After about half an hour, I finally understood why the two of them were arguing again.
To put it bluntly, your friend was being rude by knocking on a stranger's door and disturbing them. The other person then asked, "Does your friend have to come every day?" Over this, they started arguing. It even escalated to Pat looking for trouble, and Pat immediately fired back, saying Pran was bothering him...
As they were talking, there was a hint of a quarrel breaking out over there.
Tang Ruoan rubbed his brows, his good mood today shattered by this phone call. He took a deep breath and said into the phone, "Shut up right now. You're not allowed to say another word before I come, or else be prepared to face the iron fist of my love."
Perhaps it was because his voice was a little loud that the two people, who had been arguing a little, nodded and fell silent. Remembering that they were on the phone, they shouted in unison, "Understood."
After hanging up the phone, he grabbed his keys and headed out without even changing his clothes. He rode his beloved donkey down the road in his pajamas, mentally ruminating on the two of them. He arrived at their accommodation, parked the car, and put his helmet away.
He took a deep breath, took out the telescopic stick from under the cushion and walked towards their floor.
Standing in front of their room, Tang Ruoan wondered which one they would be in. Not wanting to waste time, he knocked on both doors. The first knock came from Pat's room. The two exchanged glances, and then the room's owner opened the door.
The two of them sat on a sofa, and opposite them sat Tang Xi, who was holding a thin stick in his hand, looking very intimidating.
After patiently listening to them recount the reason for their quarrel, Tang Xi tapped the palm of his other hand with the stick. "So, just because of this issue, you guys stayed up late at night and quarreled?"
They simultaneously glanced at the stick in Tang Xi's hand, swallowed their saliva, and regretted calling someone.
"Yeah." X2
"Have you figured out whose problem it is now?"
The two of them glanced at the thin stick again, and this time their swallowing was more obvious.
"Yeah." x2
Seeing that they were still nodding, their eyes were always fixed on his right hand. Tang Xi raised his eyebrows slightly, put down the stick in his hand, crossed his legs and leaned back on the sofa: "Then tell me, whose problem is it?"
"Ah!!" x2
At this moment, they were in tears and kept making small movements.
"Go ahead, I'm listening. Whoever's right will get to skip today's bamboo shoot and pork meal. If I knew you were just trying to fool me, I'd make a big fuss. Also, stop playing those little tricks. Do you really think I can't see?"
At this moment, they disliked each other even more, and it could be seen from their eyes that they were blaming each other.
Tang Xi rubbed his temples. He really had no way to resolve the relationship between the two of them. The magnetic field between these two people was simply poisonous.
Whenever they met, they would argue over trivial matters, sometimes even physical. In high school, before Pran transferred to another school, he had tried to stop them countless times. He would always agree to it verbally, but within a few days, his attack would resurface.
Pran's several outrageous actions almost confused him. He was obviously interested in Pat and was aware of his feelings, but he just couldn't get along with him. The most hateful thing was that he dragged himself into it.
Thinking about the feud between the two families gave Tang Xi a headache. Although he had a good relationship with both parents, neither family excluded him because of his relationship with the other party.
But he was still an outsider after all. He could only watch and not interfere in many things. Otherwise, according to his temper, he would have directly pulled the two families to the table and made it clear that they could not leave the table until this matter was resolved. Unfortunately, these were just thoughts.
The two people, feeling itchy all over by Tang Xi's calm gaze, twisted their bodies, trying to break free from this gaze.
"Why don't you move somewhere else?"
The sudden words froze them in their places. Pran then lowered his eyes, making it hard to tell what he was thinking. Pat, on the other hand, frowned, his eyes flickering, wondering if he was pondering the feasibility of this method, or perhaps something else.
The atmosphere was silent for a while, and Tang Xi was ready to sleep late tonight.
But the sudden knock on the door startled everyone. The three of them exchanged panicked glances, and finally, Pat, the owner, walked to the door and saw the person standing outside through the peephole.
Pran whispered to him, "Who is it?"
Pat was even more panicked when he saw the face of the person coming: "My dad, my dad is here."
After hearing this, Pran panicked and started looking for a place to hide, while Tang Xi sat in his seat very calmly without moving.
He watched them scrambling to find a hiding place, and he even had the leisure to pick up a bottle of water and start drinking. Just as he was about to take the first sip, his arm was tugged, and the drink in the bottle splashed all over his clothes.
The nervous Pat didn't notice this, nor did he see the fire in Tang Xi's eyes. After all, this avocado pajamas was one of his favorite styles, and now it was contaminated by juice!
Pat, looking panicked, pulled the man up from the sofa and made him sit on the bed. After making sure that Pran's hiding place would not be discovered, he took a deep breath to slow down his rapidly beating heart.
"Tang, cooperate with me later. Don't let my dad see Pran here with me, otherwise things will get worse."
He walked to the door with a few big strides, touched his face to make sure his expression was correct, and opened the door: "Dad, it's so late, why are you still here?"
After waiting outside the door for a while, he put his hands behind his back and glanced at his son: "Why are you open so late?"
"Ah, I, I." I couldn't explain it clearly for a long time.
His father came in with his hands behind his back. Just as he was about to say something, he glanced around and saw Tang Xi sitting by the bed. Even more shocking was the sight of Tang Xi's chest wet. He took a few steps, then froze in mid-air. He then looked at his son in disbelief.
Pat, feeling frightened by his father's gaze, whispered, "What's wrong? Dad."
Coming back to his senses, he coughed awkwardly a few times and glanced sheepishly in Tang Xi's direction: "Ahem, well, I just came over to take a look. I didn't mean to, uh, disturb you."
"Ahem, I came at the wrong time." He retracted his foot and turned to leave.
