Traveling through Thailand

Chapter 131 Childhood Sweethearts

Some readers have been asking for fanfiction about the two characters, so I've created a separate volume. So, those hoping to see Aiko intercut with Takashi might be disappointed. This volume features new characters. I won't be breaking up the main characters' relationships; I'll consider pairing them based on the writing process.

As for the name of the university, I searched online and only found the filming location of this drama, so I borrowed the name.

-----------The following is the main text-----------------

Tang Department, studying Chinese Language and Literature at Rangsit University.

Why did I choose Chinese? In my previous life, I majored in Literature, and I ended up here on the first day after receiving my diploma. So I thought, maybe after graduating from university, I'd end up back in that same world. So, with that in mind, I chose the Chinese Department in college.

Yes, I, Tang Xi, am a time traveler. Not only did I travel through time, but I did it from the womb. It's been 20 years since I regained consciousness in my mother's womb in this life. In three years, I'll be able to return to my original world. It's strange that I'm a little excited just thinking about it.

It’s a bit sad to think about it, after all, I have lived in this world for 20 years.

My favorite thing for the past 20 years has been watching the two families bicker. They'd argue every day, and each time it was over something trivial. It felt noisy at first, but I got used to it over time. Ever since I could crawl, whenever I heard a quarrel outside, I'd quickly scramble to the balcony to watch the two families across the street bicker.

Sometimes it was the mothers who argued with their children, and sometimes it was the fathers who argued. As I grew older, I could see that when the two families argued, the two little kids would spit at each other to embolden their parents.

When I was older, I asked my parents in this life why they argued. They just shook their heads and said they didn't know. They said that ever since they came to Country T to work and bought this house at a low price, they often saw them arguing.

I also asked why they didn't move away. After all, the quarrels between these two families every day would affect the people around them.

My parents then rubbed their heads and said, "It's because they quarrel so often that the housing prices here are so low. That's why your parents were able to snag such a great house."

My parents' reasons were powerful, and they made me realize that their families were the biggest contributors to my ability to live in my own house abroad. So, to repay them, whenever the two children argued, I would immediately grab some sunflower seeds and a can of cola and squat down nearby to watch. That way, if they got angry and injured each other, someone would be able to call for help in time.

Just like that, it was as if his fighting radar had been awakened unconsciously. Wherever the two of them were fighting, there would be a figure standing there not far away.

At first, the two protagonists of the fight would become a little stiff or stop fighting and go home when they saw someone openly watching them fight. But over time, they realized that the person who kept appearing around them was the child of their neighbor across the street, and after realizing that he was just watching and not doing anything else, they stopped paying attention to him.

In junior high, their fights intensified, with several instances of them collapsing and unable to get up. He was the one who contacted their respective parents. As time went on, his phone contained the contact information for both sets of parents. As they grew older, their fights gradually morphed into gang-style fights, and the two factions gradually accepted the existence of a single spectator.

How did the Tang Clan convince them to acknowledge his existence? Because he was a martial arts enthusiast in a previous life, having spent time at the Shaolin Temple as a child, he possessed considerable martial arts skills. Perhaps due to his time travel, his martial arts foundation remained intact. So, during their first gang brawl, some people assumed the person standing nearby was a backup call from the other side.

Therefore, both sides sent some people to rush towards the Tang faction. The two protagonists in the fight did not notice the behavior of their own brothers, so they were unable to stop them in time.

When the spectators saw the two groups of people rushing towards them, they knew that these people must have regarded them as enemies invited by the other side.

Not to mention the menacing expressions on their faces as they charged forward, it was quite intimidating. It was a shame they were facing someone who had lived in two different worlds. So when both groups attacked him, Tang Xi didn't miss the difference in their expressions, the look that read, "Didn't you invite him here?"

Tang Xi's fighting style was different from theirs. They would throw punches and defend, or gang up on each other to gain the upper hand in numbers. Tang Xi, on the other hand, dodged their attacks sideways, and when they flew forward, he turned and stood behind them, grabbing their shoulders to prevent them from falling to the ground.

After they stood firm, both sides looked puzzled and asked in unison: "Didn't you invite him?"

"How is that possible?" x2

"He's not from our department." x2

"Don't imitate me." x2

"Who imitated you?!" x2

Seeing the two of them getting angry at each other's imitations, yet trying to figure out who they were, honestly, if it weren't for Tang Xi's good Qi cultivation skills, I would have laughed out loud in such a situation.

The helpless two people pointed at Tang Xi and asked, "Who are you? Why are you here?"

"You're imitating me again." x2

"Who imitated your speech?!" x2

As they were talking, the two men started arguing again. Seeing the fight, the others who had followed them quickly joined in. After they were exhausted, Tang Xi walked up to them as usual, "Can you still stand? Do you want to call your parents?"

"No need." x2 shouted at the same time.

Tang Xi nodded: "The voice is loud, it seems that he is not exhausted yet." Then he stretched out his hands: "Get up, it's getting late, hurry up and treat the wound and go home to find your mother."

The two people on the ground stretched out their hands again, and their synchronized movements stimulated both sides. Before they were about to start the next battle, Tang Xi pulled the two men up from the ground with force.

"Okay, are you guys coming with me, or are you taking them with you?" Because this wasn't a fight between two people, but a group fight, he was prepared not to be able to take them home and treat their wounds as usual.

"Tang, come with me."

"Why? He wants to go with me today."

"Ah, come on? Why should I go with you?"

"he is my friend."

"He's my friend too."

"He always helps me with my injuries."

"He also helped me with my injuries."

"Why, you want to fight?"

"Come on, I'm afraid of you."

 …

And so they started arguing again about who to go with. But there was a way to solve this situation. After each of them rewarded him with a hairy chestnut, they looked at him with grievance, like children who had done something wrong, touching the fresh red mark on their chestnuts.

"I'm alone, so there's only one solution. First, you follow me, and your followers go back and tend to their wounds. Second, you take your men back to your own safe areas and tend to your wounds."

Pat raised his hand tremblingly, and Tang Xi nodded, "Pat, just say what you want to say."

"You have two solutions, not just one."

"..." Is this the right time to bring this up? Why does this kid seem a little dull? He's definitely not the bad kid Pran's parents described him as, the one who lies and steals.

"I'm happy to say that. Any objections?"

Sensing the subtle atmosphere, Pat quickly shook his head.

Tang Xi looked at Pran again: "What about you?"

"I'll choose the first one, but it has to wait until I get them settled."

When Pat heard Pran choose the first one, he immediately expressed his opinion: "I choose the first one too. I will come to your house to find you after I settle them."

Tang Xi no longer paid attention to the tension between the two of them. He reached out and pushed them towards the two groups of people lined up on both sides: "Okay, then I'll wait for you at home. But remember, if you don't arrive before 8 o'clock, you will have to deal with it on your own."

"Don't worry, I'll be on time." x2

When they found that the other party was saying the same thing again, sparks flew in their eyes, but due to time constraints, they did not fight in the end.
