Traveling through Thailand
Chapter 128 Extra 3-2
Since he didn't want the person in front of him to know, let's put it aside for now. But he still had to say what needed to be said. He couldn't let him worry too much. After all, he wasn't very smart to begin with, and if no one warned him, he would get confused sooner or later.
"I know what will happen during this period of time. This memory has not disappeared, and someone helped me along the way, so you don't have to worry about me going down the same path."
"Really?" Rain's eyes lit up a little when he heard this, guessing that this person was the one he was looking for. He simply didn't want to face the darkness of that time, so he modified his memory.
"Yes."
Rain blinked in confusion, remembering someone he had mentioned before. He suspected he had invented someone to change his original fate. "You said there was a person named Xiao Yi in your memory, and it was him who changed you."
"Yeah." Thinking back to the past, happiness was written all over his face.
"From the moment we met, he has always been the one protecting me. He has held up an umbrella for me that is strong and cannot be torn apart by any external force."
Seeing Sky's face full of happiness at this moment, Rain felt only bitterness in his heart, a bitterness that spread from deep within.
He thought back to that day, when the horrific photos and videos of Sky's abuse in high school were leaked, sending him plummeting from happiness to the brink of ruin. They'd agreed to get married after graduation. He'd been so close to happiness. But why... why did they do this to him?
Rain held back the tears in his eyes: "He protected you very well, that's great."
"Yeah." Sky was lost in his memories and couldn't come out of them for a while. He began to tell him about every little thing between him and Yi, including the time when he almost died after blocking a bullet to protect him.
And when Rain heard him talk about how good the fabricated Xiao Yi was, how he'd protected him, etc., he felt only bitterness, no sweetness. Because he believed everything Sky said was a figment of his imagination. A wounded person longed for someone to hold up a sturdy, reliable umbrella for him.
Unfortunately, in reality, he didn't do it, and neither did Phraphai.
After the incident broke, Phraphai used all his resources to delete and remove the videos. But like weeds in a field, there's no way to completely remove them. After one batch was blocked, another batch appeared.
He spent a huge amount of money to catch the person behind the scenes, but when he returned to the past, he still hadn't caught the murderer.
Later, Sky's address was exposed, and Phraphai's family and his home were also unsafe. Later, they discussed that Phraphai should take Sky away from Country T and live in other countries for a while, and then come back after the storm has passed.
Everything was set in stone, but they'd overlooked Sky's mental health. Dealing with these daily tasks had exhausted them, so they'd neglected Sky's care. After agreeing on the final outcome, everyone finally relaxed and had a good night's sleep.
Just when everyone bought the plane tickets online and were about to tell Sky about this, Rain saw a scene that he would never forget in his life.
He looked at Sky, who was as well-behaved as a sleeping child in the house. If he ignored the dried blood under his lips and the blood flowing from his wrists...which soaked a large area of the sheets.
"Ah!" he screamed. Speechless, he could only think of this way to inform the people sitting downstairs who were discussing how to find the mastermind. Hearing Rian's scream, the bad feeling in their hearts also swept over them.
In the end, he passed away from excessive blood loss. The doctor said that he had bitten the tendons in his wrists one by one, as if to make the blood flow faster. His entire wrist was almost covered with teeth marks.
So no matter how careful you are, you will forget that he has the most powerful weapon - his teeth.
Even more disconcerting was the day Sky left. All those photo albums and videos, which he hadn't been able to delete, vanished, as if nothing had happened. If he hadn't been in the funeral hall, he'd have wondered if his life had just been a nightmare. When he woke up, would Sky appear before him again? Perhaps those past few years had truly been a dream?
Rain thought so as he looked at Sky in front of him. Because it was really hard for him to mix him up with Sky in a few years.
Of the three of them, Phraphai was the one suffering the most. His feelings for Sky were clear to them. But what could he say now? The man was gone, and the murderer had yet to be found. So he couldn't give up. Even if he had to, he had to find the real culprit and avenge Sky first.
Rain looked at the happy face in front of him and thought that he was doing well now and hoped that he would continue to be sunny and cheerful.
And now he's perfectly avoided that guy, hasn't he? From now on, as long as he avoids crowded places like that and spends the next few years with him, waiting for Phraphai's return, then they'll get to know each other, understand each other, and fall in love. Their future in this life will surely have a happy ending.
It would be good to forget that painful memory. Rain thought so at this moment.
Sky came back to his senses and felt that the man in front of him seemed to have put down a heavy burden. He was no longer sad and nostalgic as when they first met. Now he seemed to have found a new goal, and the brilliance shining in his eyes could not be deceived.
Later, Rain transferred to Sky's high school. The two completed high school together and applied to the same university, majoring in the same subject. Their lives continued on their original path.
The only difference was that Rain and Phayu had met earlier. Rain knew he would leave a note and his logo on the application form that Phayu had forgotten to take with him. So this time, he timed his meeting carefully and approached Phayu after he had finished.
Since they were still unfamiliar with each other, he suppressed his inner throbbing and blinked his clear eyes as he asked, "Who are you? Why are you scribbling on my application form?"
Sky, who was following behind him, was watching Rain's performance next to him: I didn't expect Rain to have a talent for acting. It's a pity that he didn't apply to a film and television academy in this life.
Using this as a springboard, Rain and Phayu got together early.
The development was different from the previous life, but the result was the same. He couldn't help but wonder, if Yi hadn't appeared, would Rain and Phayu have met so early?
At this moment, he completely forgot that he and Rain only met after they went to college. So whether Xiao Yi was there or not would not affect the time when he would find a partner.
After finding his partner, Rain might have awakened his matchmaking instincts, but he kept mentioning Phraphai. Unfortunately, in Sky's mind, he was just Yi's partner.
He didn't have a good impression of this guy. There wasn't much reason, except that he was a playboy, a well-known scoundrel in his circle. Most importantly, he'd pursued him in college. If he hadn't been more cautious back then, Yi might have pushed him away. After all, he was so straightforward back then, so straightforward that he feared he'd wake up one day and he'd be gone.
Sky, wearing headphones, paused his drawing at this thought: "Yeah, he once pursued me! And Rain has been mentioning this name these past few days, just wanting to introduce him to me." Absolutely, absolutely, that's the case.
The more he thought about it, the more he felt that he had found the truth. He had no intention of continuing painting. He picked up his phone and called Rain with a serious expression.
The call was quickly connected, and before Rian could ask, Sky directly put the words in front of him: "Rain, give up the boring ideas in your brain. I am not interested in the person you are talking about. So don't bother to help me tie the red string anymore."
"Ah! But..." Rain was a little confused after receiving the call, not sure how things had turned out like this. Everything was fine before, and apart from the verbal rejection, it was never as serious as this time.
"No buts. If you still consider me a friend, then don't do anything unnecessary."
Rain opened his mouth and wanted to say something else, but Sky's harsh words were still ringing in his ears.
After this matter was resolved, Sky breathed a sigh of relief and was in the mood to continue with the next painting.
Later, Rain devised many schemes, hoping to lure someone over first. Given the relationship between Phraphai and Phayu, he would definitely come looking for P'phayu after the competition. Then, they would meet, and based on the memories of their previous life, sparks would undoubtedly fly between them.
But despite repeated invitations, Sky still didn't agree to go to the racetrack with him, which made Rain very frustrated.
What he didn't know was that Sky had been there with Yi several times before, and he was very familiar with the environment there, and knew that most people who went there were people of status. He also knew that he had always wanted to invite Yi there in order to introduce people to him.
But Sky, who has always had someone living in her heart, is not attracted to him and doesn't want to have anything to do with him.
