"Does anyone else have any objections?"
General Ghost's voice was cold and emotionless.
silence.
Deathly silence.
Fear spread like a plague in the hearts of the representatives.
They finally realized that this was not a negotiation, but a naked massacre and forced abdication.
The public opinion they are proud of and their self-righteous calculations seem so ridiculous and powerless in the face of absolute violence.
Some weak-willed representatives have begun to tremble as they pick up their pens, preparing to sign the humiliating agreement.
But there are always some tough ones.
"You fascists! Executioners! History will judge you!"
Several lawmakers from California roared angrily and tried to rush the podium.
"Bang! Bang! Bang!"
There were several more gunshots.
The congressmen also fell to the ground and blood flowed like a river.
Killing became the only theme of this so-called "negotiation of the century."
The remaining people, after a brief resistance, finally surrendered.
They were roughly taken away by men in black and taken to a secret cell under Camp David.
These people will become the federal government's most important bargaining chips, used to force states that attempt to secede to compromise.
In the conference hall, the smell of blood has not yet dissipated.
The new president and his staff have already started popping champagne to celebrate.
"Cheers! To our great Eagle Sauce, reunited!"
The president raised his glass high, his face filled with excitement at surviving the disaster.
A rare smile appeared on General "Ghost"'s face.
"Mr. President, from now on, no one will dare to challenge the authority of the federal government."
Senator Johnson sipped his champagne with pride.
"Once we resolve these internal problems, we can focus on dealing with the Dragon Kingdom and the Russian Bear."
In their view, everything is settled.
They resolved the crisis of national division in the bloodiest and most direct way.
Even if the means were despicable, history is written by the victors. As long as they can regain control of the country, who cares about the process?
However, just when they were getting carried away and celebrating with champagne at halftime.
The tranquility of Camp David was completely broken by a sudden and violent explosion.
"Boom! Boom!"
Several huge gaps were suddenly blown open in the walls of the conference hall.
Immediately afterwards, dozens of mysterious soldiers dressed in black combat uniforms, wearing night vision goggles and holding advanced weapons they had never seen before, rushed in from the gap like ghosts.
Their movements are as fast as lightning, their tactical coordination is smooth, precise and deadly.
The special forces soldiers guarding the conference hall were killed one by one in silent shooting before they even had time to sound the alarm.
"Enemy attack! Enemy attack!"
The president and congressmen panicked, screaming and hiding under the table.
General "Ghost" reacted the fastest. He immediately drew the pistol from his waist and tried to organize a counterattack.
But the enemy's firepower was too fierce.
The rifle was a type they had never seen before. It had an extremely fast firing rate and almost no recoil. The bullets were like venomous snakes, shooting accurately at anyone who tried to resist.
This mysterious special forces unit was obviously not here to engage in a protracted war with them.
Their goal was very clear. Under the cover of powerful firepower, a group quickly rushed to the passage leading to the underground prison cell.
At the entrance of the passage, two of the most elite Navy SEALs are guarding.
But they only lasted less than ten seconds against this mysterious force. After a short and intense exchange of fire, the two SEALs were shot multiple times and fell in a pool of blood.
The mysterious troops used special explosives to easily blow open the heavy steel door of the prison cell.
In the cell, Governor Abbott, Judge Kincaid and others were imprisoned in despair.
They heard gunshots and explosions outside and thought it was the federal government's final attempt to silence them.
When the cell door was blown open and several men in black armed with strange weapons rushed in, they were so scared that they shrank into the corner.
However, the man in black who was leading the group took off his mask, revealing his ordinary yet impressive face.
He spoke in English with a slightly foreign accent but very fluently.
"Governor Abbott, gentlemen, don't panic. We are here to rescue you."
"Who...who are you?" Governor Abbott asked warily.
The leading man smiled faintly. "You can call me Perseus. As for our identities... you can consider us the enforcers of 'justice'."
He didn't explain much, just waved to his men.
Several team members immediately stepped forward and used special tools to quickly uncuff the representatives.
"Hurry! We don't have much time!" Perseus urged. "Federal government reinforcements will arrive soon. Come with us, I'll take you to a safe place."
Under the threat of death and the desire for freedom, these governors and congressmen, without much hesitation, immediately followed this mysterious force and quickly evacuated the conference hall through the blown-open gap.
Outside, several black, unmarked armed helicopters had quietly landed on the lawn.
Perseus commanded everyone to send these rescued "important people" onto the helicopter one by one.
In the conference hall, the new president and his staff barely escaped the disaster thanks to the desperate protection of General "Ghost".
But when they crawled out from under the table and looked at the devastated conference hall and the kidnapped "hostages", everyone's face was filled with fear and despair even deeper than before.
They knew that things were completely out of control.
Once those rescued governors and congressmen reveal to the world what happened at Camp David today in a safe place, what awaits them will be the nationwide anger and complete disgrace of their reputation.
"Chase! Bring them back to me at all costs!" the president roared at the top of his lungs.
But it's too late.
The group of black helicopters, like ghosts in the dark night, quickly took off and disappeared into the vast night.
All that was left was the ruin of Camp David and a shaky, collapsing American government.
In one of the helicopters, Governor Abbott looked out the window at Camp David getting farther and farther away, and his mood was extremely complicated.
He turned to look at the mysterious man beside him who called himself "Perseus", his heart full of questions.
"Who...are you? Why did you save us?"
Perseus sat calmly in his seat with an unfathomable smile on his face.
He spoke slowly, his voice not loud, but it was enough to make all the Eagle Sauce elites present feel a chill rising from the bottom of their hearts.
"It doesn't matter who we are, Mr. Governor."
"The important thing is that from today on, you and the federal government in Washington are mortal enemies."
"And my boss is more than happy to provide you with all the necessary 'help' to win this... Eagle Sauce's war of independence."
