Early in the morning in Belgrade, sunlight shines through the heavy curtains of the presidential palace onto the oval conference table.

The fate of Yugoslavia seemed closely linked to the decisions made in this meeting room.

After several days of heated internal debate and diplomatic mediation, President Gangto finally decided to send Defense Minister Jovic as a special envoy to the far east to seek assistance from the Dragon Kingdom.

Jovic and his entourage boarded a specially modified Il-18 transport plane. After a long flight of more than ten hours, they finally landed at the Longguo Capital Airport.

Similar to Molotov's previous experience, Jovic was also shocked by the level of modernization of the Dragon Kingdom's capital.

The broad and smooth highways, the skyscrapers standing side by side, and the cars printed with Dragon's own brand flowing on the streets all overturned his traditional impression of this oriental country.

After a short rest at the State Guesthouse, Jovic and his entourage were taken to the conference center of the Dragon State Ministry of National Defense.

Responsible for receiving them were General Lu, several senior military generals, and an officer who looked extremely young but had a general star on his shoulder - Fang Yu.

The negotiations began in a friendly atmosphere. Jovic, on behalf of the Yugoslav government, first expressed high appreciation for the strong strength shown by Longguo in the Battle of Stalingrad and its selfless assistance to the Russian Bear.

He then stated his purpose directly and elaborated in detail on the severe situation Yugoslavia was currently facing - the threat of war from the Eagle Sauce was imminent, while the Russian Bear was in dire straits and could not provide effective assistance in the short term.

"Mr. Lu," Jovic said in a sincere and urgent tone, "Yugoslavia has reached a critical juncture of life and death. We are unwilling to succumb to the hegemony of the Eagle Sauce and are determined to fight to the end."

"We are well aware that Yugoslavia alone will find it difficult to withstand the joint attack of the Eagle Sauce and its allies. Therefore, we implore the Dragon Kingdom to lend a hand and provide us with military and economic support."

He paused and took out a document from the briefcase he was carrying.

"In return, Yugoslavia is willing to establish a comprehensive strategic partnership with Longguo. We will open important ports on the Adriatic Sea to Longguo as forward bases for your navy in the Mediterranean;"

"We are willing to deeply integrate with Longguo economically and become an important channel for your products to enter the European market; in international affairs, Yugoslavia will stand firmly with Longguo and jointly oppose hegemonism and unilateralism."

Mr. Lu listened to Jovic's statement quietly, with an expression of approval on his face.

"Minister Jovic, on behalf of the Yugoslav government and people, I admire the Yugoslav people's determination to defend their national sovereignty without fear of powerful forces."

"Longguo has always pursued an independent and peaceful foreign policy and firmly opposed any form of hegemony and power politics. We agree in principle to your request."

"That's great!" Jovic said, beaming. He stood up excitedly and extended his hand to President Lu. "On behalf of the Yugoslav people, I would like to thank Longguo for its selfless assistance!"

Mr. Lu shook hands with Jovic, motioned him to sit down, and then continued,

"We need to formulate specific aid plans based on Yugoslavia's actual conditions and needs."

“However, I can assure you that the assistance provided by Longguo will be comprehensive, including but not limited to weapons and equipment, technical support, economic assistance, and humanitarian aid when necessary.”

A big stone in Jovic's heart finally fell to the ground.

He knew that with the promise of Longguo, Yugoslavia had at least a glimmer of hope.

"Mr. Lu," Jovic said, his tone becoming somewhat embarrassed. "Regarding the assistance of weapons and equipment, we have an unwelcome request."

"If possible, we hope to obtain... uh... advanced fighter jets like the J-20, or the robotic dog units that proved so effective at the Battle of Stalingrad."

"Of course, we know that these are the most advanced weapons of the Dragon Nation, perhaps..."

President Lu chuckled and interrupted Jovic. "Minister Jovic, I completely understand your feelings. The J-20 fighter jets and those specialized ground combat units are indeed among our most advanced equipment. Their combat effectiveness has also been tested in actual combat."

He paused, glanced at Fang Yu beside him, and then continued.

"These equipment are negotiable. However, the specific weapons that can be provided to Yugoslavia and the manner in which they are provided are not my decision."

Upon hearing this, the smile on Jovic's face froze instantly, and a hint of surprise and uneasiness flashed in his eyes.

"Mr. Lu, you...what do you mean? If you can't make the decision on such an important matter, who else can?"

He wondered in his heart, could it be that the top leaders of Longguo have differences on the issue of aid?

Mr. Lu pointed at Fang Yu beside him with a mysterious smile on his face.

"Of course it's Chief Engineer Fang Yufang. He's the chief designer of all of our Dragon Nation's cutting-edge weapon systems, and he's also directly responsible for this military aid program to Yugoslavia. You'll have to listen to him about what he can give you and how he gives it to you."

Jovic's gaze immediately turned to Fang Yu, his eyes full of surprise and disbelief.

Although he had noticed this young general before, he thought he was just General Lu's assistant or staff member.

Unexpectedly, this young man who looks only about 30 years old is actually the chief designer of Dragon Country's cutting-edge weapons, and has the final say in such a major military aid plan!

"Fang... Chief Engineer Fang?" Jovic said with a slight stammer, quickly standing up and extending his hand to Fang Yu. "I've long heard of your name! It's like thunder in my ears! I've heard of your outstanding achievements in the field of military technology before, and seeing you today, I can see that your reputation is well-deserved!"

Fang Yu smiled and shook hands with Jovic, his attitude humble yet confident. "Minister Jovic, thank you for the compliment. I'm just doing my part."

Jovic was so excited that he couldn't calm down.

He knew very well that in modern warfare, the advancement of weapons and equipment often directly determines the outcome of the war.

Being able to communicate directly with the Dragon Country's top weapons designers and seek the most advanced military assistance is undoubtedly a huge opportunity for Yugoslavia.

"Chief Engineer Fang," Jovic asked impatiently, his tone full of anticipation, "Since you are in charge of this aid program, can you tell us what weapons and equipment Longguo plans to provide us? Is it J-20 fighter jets, or those... those combat robots?"
