HP Star Shining
Chapter 83
"Halt! Fight!" cried Sir Cadogan, crossing the doorway of the common room.
Yes, the portraits in the Gryffindor common room had been replaced, and the Fat Lady was too frightened to return to guard it.
In the entire castle, only the short knight Sir Cadogan was willing to take on this task and become the new password gate of Gryffindor.
"Next time, sir." Su Xingchen's words blocked Harry's words "Shut up" which were about to come out of his mouth. This little knight was really too annoying and always liked to make trouble for him.
"Oh, well... well," Sir Cadogan murmured. He would not attack a lady, and it was only another boy he had wanted to challenge.
Not long after the two sat down at the table, the other Quidditch players arrived.
"It's going to be a tough fight." Wood sat down next to Harry, not wanting to eat anything.
"Good morning, little darling." Angelina sat down next to Su Xingchen. Seeing the tiny amount of food in her bowl, she reached out and pinched her thin arm. "You eat so little, no wonder you're so skinny."
Hey, isn't it bad to poke fun at someone so early in the morning?
She didn't plan to correct Angelina's address because she had already tried and resistance was useless.
"Good morning, Angelina." Su Xingchen yawned, tears filling his eyes.
I’m so sleepy and haven’t woken up yet.
The spoon in her hand poked in the bowl for a long time before she scooped up a little oatmeal porridge. Just as she was about to put it into her mouth, Angelina grabbed it and almost spilled it on herself.
"So cute!" Angelina pinched Su Xingchen's cheeks with both hands, "Look at her curled eyelashes..."
Su Xingchen was certain that Angelina was now treating her like a living doll.
However, although……
She was really helpless when it came to girls who had no ill intentions and couldn't refuse them "righteously".
Fortunately, Angelina let go after grabbing for a while.
After breakfast, everyone lowered their heads to resist the "drizzle" that Alia mentioned and headed to the stadium. A strong wind blew away the umbrella in Su Xingchen's hand halfway.
By the time they reached the entrance to the Quidditch pitch, everyone looked soaked.
Harry took off his glasses and wiped them vigorously with the corner of his robe, but his glasses were still damp.
He was very anxious. With his foggy glasses he couldn't see the little golden snitch clearly in the storm.
"Harry, give me your glasses." Su Xingchen said.
Harry didn't know what she wanted to do, but he still obediently handed her the glasses.
Su Xingchen didn't answer it. Instead, he took out his wand from his pocket, tapped the glasses on Harry's hand lightly, and whispered, "Waterproof and moisture-proof."
"Let's see how it works." She said with a smile.
This was a new spell she had learned, and she didn't know how effective it would be.
Harry put it back on, and his vision became as clear and bright as before. "That's amazing!"
Wood was so happy that he looked like he was going to hug Su Xingchen, but Angelina got there first, "You little darling are so awesome."
Su Xingchen felt the hand ruffling his hair above his head with an expressionless face.
She endured it.
If it were someone else, wouldn't they chop off his hands?
Huh? Who are the others?
Watching the Gryffindor players enter the locker room, Su Xingchen twisted his neck. The wet collar of his shirt stuck to his skin, making him feel uncomfortable.
She suddenly tapped her forehead, wondering if there was really water in her brain.
She learned the waterproof spell, so why was she so stupid as to get wet in the rain?
Just when he was feeling frustrated, a large crowd of people poured into the entrance. Leading the crowd was none other than Hufflepuff's new Quidditch captain, Cedric Diggory, who was leading the other Hufflepuff team members.
"Xingchen!" Cedric waved at her, forcing Su Xingchen, who was about to pretend not to see it and slip away, to stop where she was.
"Hi, Cedric."
"Are you here to cheer me up?"
"Huh?" Su Xingchen was stunned. How could she possibly be here to cheer him on? She was a Gryffindor!
But it's such a small thing that I can't say no.
"Come on." Su Xingchen said.
"I will." Cedric smiled.
"But... Gryffindor will definitely win!" She didn't know what was wrong with her. She knew the result of the game, but she suddenly emphasized it like this.
As soon as he finished speaking, the surroundings became quiet.
Cedric was obviously stunned, and then he laughed even more happily. The other Hufflepuff team members also let out good-natured chuckles.
"I understand. I'll try my best." Cedric said seriously.
"That's good. Um... I'll go to the stands first." Su Xingchen dug her toes into the ground in embarrassment. How could she say such an idiotic thing?
"Come on." After saying that, he turned around and walked away without hesitation, as if he was running away.
Behind him, he could hear the faint laughter of the Hufflepuff Quidditch players.
There were only a few students in the stands, and Su Xingchen was sitting alone in the corner.
Even though she was slow-witted, she realized that something was wrong with her.
In the past, let alone saying such foolish words, even if she really had such thoughts in her heart, she would never say them out loud in such a disgusting way.
Su Xingchen raised his head and looked at the thick gray clouds. 100 Dementors were floating above, invisible to the naked eye.
She thought about it and felt that it was after she faced the Dementors on the train that she gradually developed these uncontrollable abnormal emotions.
It seemed that the Dementors had a more serious effect on her than on Harry.
Hold on! As soon as Harry learns the Patronus Charm, have him teach her. She'll learn spells quickly, and by then the Dementors won't have any effect.
Su Xingchen tried hard to calm down and comfort himself.
As the crowd grew, Hermione and Ron also arrived at the Gryffindor stand and walked straight towards her.
"Xingchen, why didn't you wait for us?" Ron complained softly after sitting down.
Su Xingchen smiled but said nothing. She was not in the mood to coax anyone.
Even amidst the rumbling thunder, enthusiastic cheers erupted from all around the stadium, and a team of people in bright red robes and a team in light yellow robes walked out towards each other.
Amid the howling wind and rain, Madam Hooch's whistle blew.
The stands were densely packed with various cloaks and tattered umbrellas. Su Xingchen, who had no Quidditch talent, could not see clearly in the heavy rain and could only recognize the team's players by the color of their clothes.
Harry was frozen all over, and he drove his Nimbus 2000 through the storm, searching for the Golden Snitch.
The weather was even worse. It was dark as if it was almost night. Besides the rumbling thunder, there were also crackling Z-shaped lightning.
Just looking at it is terrifying.
