Gryffindor hasn't won the House Cup for seven years. They had chances in the past two years, but unfortunately various accidents always happened.

This is Captain Wood's final year, and the team begins training every Wednesday night with unwavering determination.

One night after training, Harry returned to the common room, frozen all over.

The common room was bustling with people.

Only his good friends were sitting in a corner near the fireplace, talking in low voices, seeming a little out of place in the noisy environment.

"What happened?" Harry sat down in the chair closest to the fire, which looked like a place his friends had reserved for him.

The warm fire slowly melted his stiff body.

"First weekend in Hogsmeade," Ron pointed to a new notice on the board. "End of October, just before Halloween."

Harry's joy at having achieved satisfactory training results disappeared in an instant.

"Harry, you'll definitely be able to go next time." Hermione seemed to see through his thoughts. "The Ministry of Magic will definitely be able to catch Black soon. Someone has already seen him."

Harry looked at Su Xingchen. She couldn't go to Hogsmeade either. No wonder it was quiet here. Ron and Hermione were probably afraid of making Xingchen sad.

Unfortunately, her face was very calm, with her usual faint smile, showing no longing or loss.

Harry's mood eased a little. Although he knew that this idea was excessive, he was glad that he was not the only one who wanted to stay.

"Black is not stupid. He won't act rashly in Hogsmeade," said Ron. "Harry, ask Professor McGonagall. It will take a long time before the next one happens."

"Okay, I'll go ask." Harry made up his mind. If possible, he really didn't want to stay in school.

"I'll ask for you." He knew that Xingchen would not go to Professor McGonagall for such a thing.

"Okay." Su Xingchen nodded. Although she knew that Harry was doing useless work, she couldn't keep discouraging the child's enthusiasm.

Hermione opened her mouth to dissuade him, but her Snowbrook jumped onto Ron's knees and tried to get Scabbers out of his pocket. The mouse and cat ran away so fast that they both hurried to catch their respective pets.

Harry yawned sleepily. He wanted to go to sleep, but he hadn't finished his star chart yet. It was his Divination homework.

He dug out his homework paper and quill from his schoolbag. Su Xingchen pushed his completed homework next to him. Noticing his puzzled look, he explained, "It's not a very technical homework assignment. It's okay to copy it. You must be very tired."

"Okay." Harry curled his lips. Xingchen, like Hermione, usually opposed them copying homework.

Unlike Hermione, she was flexible. For example, for standard homework that only took time to complete, she thought it was okay to copy it.

Hermione was different. She firmly opposed any act of copying homework.

Harry took the homework paper and saw the beautiful and elegant handwriting. He knew at a glance that it was written by a girl. The clean and refreshing scent of ink made the boredom of doing homework lessened.

Seeing that Harry had already started writing, Su Xingchen turned to look at Hermione and Ron, and saw Ron angrily walking through the lounge and going upstairs to the boys' dormitory.

Oh no, it seems like a new round of Cold War is about to begin.

In the Herbology class the next day, Hermione and Ron were indeed arguing with each other and refused to talk, even though the four of them were assigned to a group to peel bubble pods.

Harry and Su Xingchen looked at each other and smiled secretly.

Well, I'm used to it.

During the Transfiguration class, Professor McGonagall took the initiative to talk about Hogsmeade Village and asked everyone to hand in the form to her before Halloween.

After the bell rang, Harry waited until all the classmates left and walked up to Professor McGonagall's podium with a nervous mood.

"What is it, Mr. Potter?"

Harry took a deep breath and elaborated his thoughts.

Professor McGonagall looked at Harry over her square glasses without saying anything, then turned her gaze to Su Xingchen, who was strongly urged by Ron to stay and plead with him.

"What about you, Miss Sue? Do you want to go to Hogsmeade too?"

Su Xingchen wanted to say that she didn't have such an idea, but when she saw Harry's expectant eyes, she nodded and said, "Yes, Professor, I want to go."

Of course, they both failed.

Then, he was kicked out of the classroom.

Ron was so angry that he kept cursing all the way, thinking that Professor McGonagall was too unkind, which made Hermione even more dissatisfied with him.

Harry could only listen as his classmates enthusiastically discussed what they were going to do in Hogsmeade.

"There's still a party," Ron said, trying to cheer Harry up. "You know, it's the pre-Halloween party, held in the evening."

Speaking of this banquet, Su Xingchen thought of the death anniversary banquet she attended last year, and she couldn't help but shudder. Thinking of this, she seemed to have experienced a lot last year.

"Yeah," Harry said, still glumly, "that's great."

The Halloween dinner was indeed lovely, and it would have been even better if he had come to it after a day of fun in Hogsmeade like everyone else.

Su Xingchen looked at Harry's absent-minded look and it seemed that he really wanted to go. Children are really playful.

On the morning before Halloween, Harry woke up with his classmates. He was very depressed, but he tried his best to act normal.

He accompanied Hermione and Ron to the hallway. The caretaker, Filch, stood inside the gate with a long list in his hand, staring at every face vigilantly, not letting anyone who was not on the list slip out.

"We'll bring you lots of sweets from Honeydukes," Hermione said soothingly, thinking Harry looked terribly sad.

"Yeah, bring back a bunch of them," Ron gestured exaggeratedly.

Faced with Harry's disappointment, he and Hermione finally forgot their previous argument about Brook Hill and Scabbers.

"Don't worry about me." Harry said in a nonchalant tone, "Have fun, see you at the dinner."

Harry walked up the marble stairs alone and climbed up to Gryffindor Tower. He woke up the Fat Lady who was dozing off. The contrast between the Gryffindor common room and the deserted corridor was stark.

It was filled with chattering first and second years, as well as a few seniors who had obviously been to Hogsmeade so many times that they no longer had any interest.

Su Xingchen sat on the chair by the fireplace as usual, saying something with a gentle smile to the several lower grade students around her, the firelight shining on their happy smiling faces.

Harry couldn't say what he felt. It seemed that Xingchen really didn't care whether he could go to Hogsmeade or not, unlike him.

"Harry, come here." Su Xingchen saw him come in, waved at him, and then whispered something to the people around him, and everyone dispersed hesitantly.
