Harry and Hermione followed Professor McGonagall to her office, where Madam Pomfrey hurried over just as they entered.

"Professor Lupin sent an owl ahead to say you fainted on the train," said Professor McGonagall.

Harry felt himself blushing. "I'm fine. I don't need anything." Did the whole of Hogwarts know in just a moment that he had fainted on the train?

"Oh, it's you." Madam Pomfrey seemed not to have heard what he said. She leaned over and looked at him carefully. "I guess you are doing something dangerous again?"

"It's the Dementors, Poppy," said Professor McGonagall, and they exchanged serious looks.

"Send Dementors around the school..." Madam Pomfrey muttered in dissatisfaction, pushing Harry's hair back and touching his forehead. "He won't be the only one to faint."

"How is he? Resting in bed? Or staying in the school hospital for one night?" Professor McGonagall asked again.

Harry stood up anxiously, "I'm fine!" He couldn't bear the thought of how Malfoy would laugh at him if he went to the hospital.

"Well, at least he should have some chocolate," Madam Pomfrey said and continued to observe Harry's pupils.

"I've already eaten. Professor Lupin gave us some." Harry was extremely grateful to Professor Lupin for giving him the chocolate, although he was also the one who told Professor McGonagall that he had fainted.

But he is a professor, that is his responsibility, isn't it?

"Really?" Madam Pomfrey said approvingly, "It seems we finally have a Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher who knows how to treat the problem."

Harry felt that she was implying Lockhart, and normally no one should like that arrogant liar.

"Are you really feeling alright?" Professor McGonagall asked sternly.

Harry nodded hurriedly, fearing that Professor McGonagall would have him hospitalized if he was any later.

"Very well, please wait outside the door for a moment while I speak to Miss Granger about her schedule. Then we'll go back to the Great Hall for the banquet."

Only a few minutes later, Professor McGonagall and Hermione came out. They returned to the Great Hall, but just missed the Sorting ceremony.

Every house table in the auditorium was filled with students, their faces illuminated by the hundreds of candles floating on the ceiling.

Ron and Su Xingchen reserved seats for the two of them, and the four of them sat in a row of chairs.

Su Xingchen tilted his head and looked at Hermione.

"What's wrong, Xingchen?" Hermione was obviously in a good mood.

She shook her head to indicate that she was fine. Fortunately, Hermione didn't care and was visibly happy.

This joyful look on her face, this is because Professor McGonagall has given her that... what was it? A time shuttle?

This is a treasure. She would be happy too. Which girl hasn’t dreamed of traveling through time and space?

Su Xingchen smiled secretly, but it was a pity that Hermione only wanted to use it for studying.

The opening ceremony was as usual, and Headmaster Dumbledore introduced the two new teachers for this semester.

One was Professor Lupin, the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher they had already met, and the other was Hagrid, their old acquaintance, who had been teaching Care of Magical Creatures since the beginning of this term.

"We should have known better," Ron yelled, pounding the table. "Who else would have asked us to prepare a book that bites?"

Fortunately, everyone was applauding enthusiastically at this time, so Ron's movements were not so noticeable.

Dumbledore motioned for everyone to be quiet. "Hogwarts is currently welcoming some special guests, the Dementors from Azkaban. I'm sure you've seen them on the train just now. They're sent by the Ministry of Magic to guard all the entrances to Hogwarts."

"It is the nature of a Dementor to neither understand nor forgive. No tricks or disguises can fool it." Dumbledore cleared his throat and added calmly, "Including the Invisibility Cloak."

Harry and Ron looked at each other, both knowing that this was referring to them.

"Therefore, I need to solemnly remind you that no one is allowed to leave the school without permission, and do not give it any reason to harm you. I hope that the prefects of each house and the newly elected Head Boy and Head Girl will ensure that no student comes into conflict with the Dementors."

Speaking of prefects, Su Xingchen looked in the direction of Hufflepuff. Their table was next to Gryffindor. Cedric was sitting in the front seat, listening to the headmaster's speech attentively.

So the greater the ability, the greater the responsibility.

Su Xingchen curled her lips slightly. The prefect had to do a lot of work. Fortunately, Hermione would be the next prefect of Gryffindor. She would be happier being a lazy person.

Perhaps sensing someone's gaze, Cedric turned his head and happened to meet Su Xingchen's eyes. He smiled brightly.

Damn it, I still owe debts.

Su Xingchen smiled back awkwardly, turned around and pretended to listen to Dumbledore's teachings, but unfortunately the principal... seemed to have finished speaking.

"Well, let's change to a pleasant topic and start the banquet." After Dumbledore finished speaking, the plates on the table were filled with various foods.

Yes, that’s right. Su Xingchen quickly lowered his head and pretended to eat.

Finally, after the last few pumpkin pie pieces on the golden plate disappeared and Headmaster Dumbledore announced that everyone could go to bed, the few of them found an opportunity to walk to the faculty table.

"Congratulations, Hagrid!" Hermione screamed excitedly.

"Thanks to you all." Hagrid wiped his greasy face with a napkin. "I can't believe it, Dumbledore... He came directly to me. This is exactly what I wanted."

The four of them smiled knowingly, and Hagrid buried his face in his napkin, unable to contain his excitement.

Then Professor McGonagall shooed them away.

The four of them followed the other Gryffindor students through corridor after corridor, climbed stairs after stairs, and finally arrived at the hidden entrance of Gryffindor Tower.

Su Xingchen held Hermione's arm and took a breath.

It was a mistake. She should have told the Sorting Hat that she was going to Hufflepuff. At that time, she only remembered that the view from the tower was nice and forgot that she had to climb the stairs.

It may not be obvious at ordinary times, but when you are already very tired like this, it is simply unbearable.

The portrait of the Fat Lady in a pink dress asked, "Password?"

"Come here! Come here!" Percy called from the back of the crowd. "The new password is Good Luck."

"Oh, bad luck." Neville next to him muttered. He always couldn't remember the commands.

After entering the lounge, boys and girls walked towards different stairs.

Walking up the spiral staircase, Harry had no other thoughts in his mind but happiness.

He was back in Hogwarts, in his familiar round dormitory with its five four-poster beds, and he looked around and felt like he was home.
