HP Star Shining
Chapter 164
After seeing him, Madam Pomfrey pulled him into the tent.
The tent was divided into several small compartments, and Harry glimpsed Cedric in one of the next compartments.
"Dragons!" Madam Pomfrey said with disgust, "Last year it was Dementors, this year it's dragons. I wonder what else they'll bring to the school next year."
Harry remained silent. It was obviously not a wise choice to interrupt at this time.
"You are lucky that the wound is not deep, but you need to clean it first and then I will treat you." Madam Pomfrey did not expect him to talk and kept chattering to herself.
She cleaned the wound with a fuming, foul-smelling purple liquid and then prodded the wound with her wand.
Harry felt the wound heal instantly.
"Okay, just sit quietly for a minute, then you can go check your rating."
Madam Pomfrey walked quickly out, and then Harry heard her say from the next door, "How are you feeling, Diggory?"
After estimating about a minute, he stood up and walked outside. Before he reached the entrance of the tent, two people rushed in towards him.
Hermione and Su Xingchen who was being pulled by her to run wildly.
"Harry, you're brilliant!" Hermione squeaked, breathless. "Brilliant! Absolutely brilliant!"
"Harry, congratulations, you've completed the first task." Su Xingchen said after catching his breath.
"Thank you," Harry replied with a smile.
He seemed calm, but in fact he was extremely excited at this moment. He even wanted to jump up and spin around with Hermione and Xingchen.
"By the way, there's someone else who wants to see you." Su Xingchen turned and shouted at the empty tent door, "Come in quickly."
Harry looked over. Could it be...
The person who appeared at the entrance of the tent was Ron. His face was frighteningly pale and he was staring at him blankly.
Su Xingchen went over and pushed his shoulder, and Ron slowly walked in.
"Harry," he said gravely, "whoever put your name in the Goblet of Fire wants you dead."
"You finally figured it out?" Harry said coldly. "Has it been long enough?"
This was the first time the two had actually spoken face to face in weeks.
Hermione stood nervously between the two, looking from one to the other.
Su Xingchen pursed her lips and looked at the two of them with a smile. She knew how much Harry cared about his good brother Ron, but now he was pretending to be nice to him. What a child.
But now she doesn't need to do anything.
Ron opened his mouth hesitantly. Harry knew what he wanted to say, but he suddenly realized that he didn't need Ron's apology.
"It's okay," he said quickly before Ron could say anything. "Just forget about it."
"No." Ron looked at him. "I shouldn't..."
"Forget about it," Harry insisted again.
Ron smiled at him uncomfortably, and Harry smiled back.
For a few weeks, the resentment they had towards each other seemed to have faded.
Hermione suddenly burst into tears.
"Hermione, why are you crying?" Harry was a little confused and didn't understand why she was crying.
"You two are so stupid!" Hermione stomped her feet on the floor and cried, tears falling on her chest. Before Harry and Ron could comfort her, she hugged them and ran away.
By this time, she had already started crying loudly.
"That's crazy." Ron shook his head. "Harry, come on, they're going to grade you."
"You go check the ratings first, I'll be there soon." Su Xingchen said to the two.
As soon as she entered, she spotted Cedric next door. After all, this small cubicle was just a piece of cloth. Since she was already here, it seemed unreasonable not to check on him, after all, he was aroused by the flames.
Moreover, Harry was already alive and kicking, but Cedric, who arrived earlier, was still in the tent, which showed that he was seriously injured.
"Okay." Harry knew what she was going to do, picked up the Firebolt and the golden egg, and walked out of the tent with his head down. Ron followed closely beside him, talking non-stop like a machine gun.
Su Xingchen walked to the curtain door of the compartment and stopped, "Can I come in?"
"Come in." said the person inside.
She pulled aside the curtain and walked in. This compartment was exactly the same as the one Harry stayed in, both in terms of furnishings and size.
Cedric was sitting in the middle chair, with burn marks on the exposed back of his hands and half of his face.
He had previously used an advanced Transfiguration spell to deal with the Swiss Short-Snout Dragon, turning a stone into a Newfoundland Hound to attract the dragon's attention so that he could steal its eggs. Unfortunately, the dragon changed its mind halfway and turned back to catch him first.
"Are you okay?" Su Xingchen was shocked. Is the injury so serious?
"I took a potion earlier," Cedric replied. "How do I look now?"
"Not very good." Su Xingchen leaned in closer to take a closer look at the burns on his face. "It seems... disfigured."
After he finished speaking, he realized that he seemed to have said something wrong, and he suddenly wanted to jump up and slap himself twice.
"But Madam Pomfrey must have a way. I have never seen any injury that can stump her." She tried to make amends. "By the way, where is Madam Pomfrey?"
"She's gone to make the ointment," said Cedric.
That’s good, it proves there is still hope.
"However, I've been unlucky these past two days." Cedric spread his hands helplessly. "Just yesterday, my schoolbag suddenly exploded."
Ah, this...
"That's indeed a bit unlucky." Su Xingchen looked away "without any guilt."
Cedric smiled as he looked at the little girl who was looking up at the sky and pretending to examine the tent furnishings.
If he hadn't sensed a familiar scent on the torn schoolbag, why would he have let the other students leave first?
The strange thing is that it is never easy to find the caster of a spell, let alone a spell that is so simple that it cannot be simpler.
But just from the fragments of the schoolbag, he could be sure that it was the little girl who blew up the schoolbag, as if he had seen her standing in front of him and casting a spell.
This has never happened to anyone else. It's definitely not common.
At this moment, Madam Pomfrey came in carrying a tray of bottles and jars. "Oh, Miss Su, you are here too?"
"I'm leaving now." Su Xingchen felt that Madam Pomfrey's appearance was like a "savior", saving her from dire straits.
"You take good care of your injuries. I'm leaving first." Su Xingchen said to Cedric, but he didn't even dare to glance at him. He walked out like a dog chasing its butt.
After walking out of the tent, Su Xingchen knocked his head.
Damn it, why did I blurt out what was really in my mind?
This isn't just the first or second time; this person is simply toxic.
Or should we stay away from you in the future?
