HP Star Shining
Chapter 116
"That's enough, sir!" Fudge snapped. "You're talking nonsense!"
"You don't know Potter. He did it, I know."
"Well, Severus," Dumbledore said softly, "consider what you have just seen. I locked the door myself ten minutes ago. Madam Pomfrey, are the children out of bed?"
"Of course not," said Madam Pomfrey unhappily. "I would have heard it."
"Look, Severus," Dumbledore said calmly, "unless they both have the ability to clone themselves, I see no reason for us to continue disturbing them."
Snape stood there furiously, glaring at Fudge and then at Dumbledore, then turned abruptly, his robes whirring behind him, and strode out of the ward.
"He seems a little mentally ill." Fudge was very surprised by his performance. "If I were you, I would keep a close eye on him, Dumbledore."
Su Xingchen quickly covered his mouth and almost laughed out loud.
"Oh, he's not deranged," Dumbledore said calmly, his eyes twinkling behind his spectacles. "He's simply deeply disappointed."
"It's not just him," snorted Fudge. "The Daily Prophet has something to do. We caught Black, then let him slip through our fingers, and then there's that Hippogriff, too. I'm going to be a laughingstock. Well, I'd better tell the Ministry."
"Where are the Dementors?" asked Dumbledore. "Shouldn't they be gone by now?"
"Oh, yes, they have to leave." Fudge stroked his hair distractedly. "I can't believe they tried to kiss an innocent boy. Everything is messed up. I'm going to send them back to Azkaban tonight..."
Dumbledore smiled at them and walked out of the ward with Fudge.
Madam Pomfrey couldn't hurry over to relock the door, then returned to her office with an annoyed mutter.
A low groan came from the back of the ward, and Ron woke up.
"Oh, what's going on?" He sat up, rubbing his head and looking around. "Harry, why are we here? Where's Sirius? Where's Lupin?"
Harry and Hermione exchanged a glance.
"Go ahead." He reached out and picked up the chocolate left by Madam Pomfrey on the table and put it in his mouth. Madam Pomfrey left a lot.
The next day at noon, when the four people came out of the school hospital, they found that the entire Hogwarts was empty.
This was the last trip to Hogsmeade this semester. The hot weather and the end of exams led almost all the students in the school to go out and have fun.
But today, neither Hermione nor Ron wanted to go, so the four of them strolled on the lawn in front of the castle. As usual, Harry, Ron, and Hermione discussed their bizarre experiences last night, while Su Xingchen followed quietly, occasionally speaking when called upon.
They sat down by the lake, the giant squid gliding its tentacles lazily across the water, and Harry's mind began to wander as he looked across the lake, where the silver deer had run towards him last night.
A shadow fell.
The four looked up and saw Hagrid with tears in his eyes. He was wiping his sweaty face with a handkerchief as big as a tablecloth and smiled at them.
The four pretended to know nothing as they listened to him talk about Buckbeak's escape, and also learned from him that Lupin had resigned.
Harry stood up, "I'm going to go check on him."
Hermione and Ron were about to stand up when they heard this, but Su Xingchen stopped them, "Let Harry go alone. I think they should have something to talk about."
She remembered that Harry had gone to Lupin's office alone.
Harry pursed his lips, nodded at the two of them, and glanced at her subtly before leaving.
Su Xingchen tilted her head and pinched her chin. There was something wrong. She was absolutely sure that this was the second time Harry looked at her like that.
Although it cannot be said to be abnormal, it is definitely not normal.
Lupin left because Snape had revealed his werewolf status at school, probably because he was furious that the Order of Merlin, First Class, that he had nearly won had been lost.
Harry took back his Invisibility Cloak and Marauder's Map from Lupin. Apart from the four of them and Dumbledore, no one at Hogwarts knew the truth about the disappearance of Sirius, Pettigrew and Buckbeak that night.
Despite the good weather, Harry was still in a bad mood for a while before the end of the semester. Of course, he was not the only one. Most students were depressed about the departure of the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor.
"I wonder what kind of person they'll give us next term," said Seamus Finnigan gloomily.
"Maybe a vampire." Dean Thomas was full of anticipation.
Su Xingchen raised his head and thought about it. Next year, it should be that one-eyed and lame professor. What was his name? I can't remember, but it must be a fake.
Thinking of this, she couldn't help but think of the Goblet of Fire tournament next semester and Cedric, and she became visibly depressed.
On the last day of the semester, all four of them passed their exams. Percy got a high score in the final wizard exam, and even the twins passed the ordinary wizard exam.
What surprised Harry was that he did not fail the Potions class. He thought Snape hated him enough, but he didn't expect it to increase. Every time he saw him, he felt like he wanted to rush over and strangle him to death, so he had to suspect that Dumbledore had interfered with his grades.
Gryffindor House won the House Cup for the third time thanks to its outstanding performance in the Quidditch match, which resulted in the hall being decorated in gold and red. Everyone at the Gryffindor table was celebrating, and even Harry temporarily forgot about having to go back to the Dursleys' house tomorrow.
The next morning, as the train pulled out of Hogwarts Station, Hermione announced that she would not be taking Muggle Studies or Divination classes next term, and that she had returned the Retroretrograde to Professor McGonagall.
This is really good news, all three of them thought so. Hermione will finally stop looking like a fire-breathing Tyrannosaurus Rex next semester.
Towards evening, a small, gray object began to appear and disappear in the glass of the car window near Harry.
"What is this?" Harry stood up and saw that it was a skinny owl, holding a letter that was too big for it. It was too small and was blown around by the air currents from the train, and it kept somersaulting in the air.
Su Xingchen took a closer look. Isn't this Ron's owl? The only small owl in the whole play.
Harry quickly rolled down the window and reached out to grab it.
The owl dropped the letter on Harry's seat and began to fly back and forth in circles in the carriage, as if it was very satisfied with the task it had completed.
Harry picked up the letter and opened it. "Sirius!" he exclaimed excitedly, beginning to scan the contents of the letter eagerly. "He sent the Firebolt!"
"See, I was right, wasn't I?" Hermione said in a triumphant tone.
