HP Star Shining

Chapter 111

Harry reached out to pull out his wand, but it was too late. The big dog jumped high and hit his chest with its front paws. He fell backwards in a ball of dog hair. He could clearly feel the hot breath gushing out of the dog's mouth and see the inch-long fangs in its big mouth.

Perhaps because of too much force, the big dog rolled to the side after pouncing, and turned around with a roar, ready to attack again.

Ron stood up and pushed Harry away.

The big dog seemed to have no intention of attacking Harry again. It bit Ron's outstretched hand. Harry rushed forward and grabbed a handful of the big dog's fur, but it was useless. The dog dragged Ron away effortlessly like a rag doll.

Suddenly, Harry was hit hard in the face by something from nowhere, and he fell to the ground again. At the same time, he heard Hermione screaming in pain and falling to the ground.

Su Xingchen, who was standing at the back and luckily not affected, quickly raised his wand. The faint fluorescent light illuminated a sturdy tree. It turned out that they were chasing Ron and Banban to the Whomping Willow.

The willow branches creaked as if immersed in a strong wind, twisting their branches desperately, whipping them madly like whips to prevent them from getting close.

Harry felt for his wand and blinked hard to squeeze the blood out.

The big dog was right next to the tree trunk and was dragging Ron backwards into a large hole between the roots. Ron struggled hard, but it was of little use. His head and upper body had disappeared.

"Ron!" Harry shouted and tried to rush over, but a branch as thick as a bowl whipped him fiercely, forcing him back.

Ron hooked one leg around a tree root, hoping to stop the dog from dragging him in.

With a terrible "crack", his leg seemed to be broken, and in the blink of an eye, his last leg exposed disappeared from the sight of the three people.

It was terrifying. Was Sirius really that crazy? Or did Azkaban really cause mental breakdown?

Su Xingchen was dumbfounded. She quickly helped Hermione up from the ground. Hermione had a wound on her shoulder from a branch and was bleeding.

"Harry, we have to get help!" Hermione cried in horror.

"No, that dog is big enough to eat him, and we don't have time!"

Another thick branch came down, kicking up the dirt on the ground.

"If the dog can get in, so can we," panted Harry, dodging left and right, trying to get around the branches that were swinging maliciously.

But if he got any closer to the roots of the tree, the swaying branches would hit him and he would have no way to avoid them.

As he dodged, a thin branch on the side twisted. Su Xingchen quickly grabbed his collar and pulled him back, avoiding the attack that was not very noticeable in the dark.

"That won't do." She had a rare serious expression. Did she really have to be beaten up like in the movies before she could get in? But when she saw it, the Whomping Willow wasn't that fierce, and Harry and Hermione weren't so injured. Could it be that she was the one who had been added?

"Help, help." Hermione cried desperately, spinning around in circles in a panic.

Su Xingchen glanced at the two of them. They didn't know the plot like he did, so they must be panicked and anxious.

Hey, give it a try.

She let go of the two of them and took two steps forward.

"Xingchen, what are you doing?" Harry noticed her unusual behavior.

"Catch the right moment." Su Xingchen released the spiritual power in his body without even turning his head.

If spiritual power equals magic power, then the Whomping Willow is probably like a spiritual plant. Is there any spiritual plant that doesn't like spiritual power bags? It's like having an iced watermelon bouncing in front of you on a hot day. Who wouldn't eat it?

Her spiritual power has water attributes. Although it is not as strong as wood spiritual power, plants should like it too, right?

As Su Xingchen expected, the branches of the Whomping Willow no longer swung around unconsciously, but instead attacked her in an overwhelming manner.

A thick branch wrapped her up and lifted her up to half a meter high, while another thinner branch rubbed her cheek.

Although I didn't get hit, the rough bark and small twigs on the branches scratched my cheek, causing a stinging sensation.

"Stars!" Hermione exclaimed.

"Hurry, hurry in." Su Xingchen said with difficulty.

Perhaps it had eaten something good, as more and more branches began to wrap around it.

If she doesn't go in, she'll be strangled to death!

Harry and Hermione hesitated for a moment before Crookshanks darted forward and pressed his front paw against a knot on the tree.

The Whomping Willow suddenly stopped moving, as if it had turned into a fossil. Even its leaves stopped shaking. The branches that were wrapped around Su Xingchen became loose, and she fell to the ground with a "bang".

Although it wasn't high, I was caught off guard and my butt hurt a lot.

Wow, let’s just say that NPCs cannot participate in the protagonist’s activities.

"Xingchen, are you okay?" Harry hurried forward to help her up.

Something's wrong! Her butt hurts! Her face hurts! Her shoulders hurt too!

Unfortunately, at this time she could only say, "It's okay, let's go in quickly."

Hermione was a little surprised, "Crookshanks, how did it know..."

"It's friends with that dog." Harry's face was grim. "I've seen them together."

Yes, the night before the Quidditch match with Slytherin, he saw "Ominous" and Crookshanks appear at the same time, there was no doubt about it now.

Harry supported Su Xingchen and they rushed to the hole between the tree roots in a few seconds. Fortunately, she remembered that she fainted after her spiritual power was exhausted in her first year, and she still had 20% of her spiritual power left this time, so she didn't fall behind. Hermione followed closely behind.

The three of them followed Crookshanks through a long passage. Su Xingchen looked at Crookshanks who was looming in front of them. What a good cat! It was worth it that she fed him so many cat strips.

How should you repay a cat for saving your life?

This route was shown on the Marauder's Map, but this was Harry's first time walking it, and it seemed even longer than the one to Honeydukes. He was now thinking about Ron and hoping the dog wouldn't do anything to him.

The tunnel began to slope upwards, and after a while it turned a corner, and Crookshanks disappeared.

Harry saw a glimmer of light, what looked like a small exit.

He stopped and looked back at Su Xingchen and Hermione, and they raised their wands in tacit understanding.

The three of them panted and moved forward slowly.

It was a room, a messy, gray room.

The floor was stained, the wallpaper was peeling, all the furniture was broken as if someone had smashed it, and the windows were boarded up.

There was no one in the room, but on the right was an open door leading into a dark hallway.

"Harry." Hermione grabbed Harry's arm nervously, her eyes wide open as she glanced at the boarded-up windows. "I think we're in the Shrieking Shack." She looked terrified.

When they first snuck into Hogsmeade, Hermione and Ron mentioned the rumor that the Shrieking Shack was haunted.

Harry's eyes wandered around the room, landing on a nearby chair with a large piece of wood ripped out of it and one of its legs missing.

"It's not a ghost," he said slowly.
