Princess Shen's orders, like an invisible chain, quickly tightened the nerves of the entire empire. She knew that while the Crown Prince held considerable power, compared to the resources of the empire she already controlled, the support these powerful individuals could offer was merely empty talk.

"If the Eastern Palace really dares to take action, then let me completely destroy their foundation." Princess Shen muttered to herself, her eyes deep, like a cold blade.

"Princess Shen, it seems you are indeed a formidable opponent." Inside a secluded palace, the emperor sighed deeply, a complex emotion in his eyes. "Your tactics are becoming increasingly powerful, and it seems I am no longer your true opponent."

Anger flashed in his eyes, but was quickly replaced by calmness. "But if I don't break this situation, won't I always live in your shadow?"

The Emperor was well aware of Princess Shen's cleverness and ruthlessness, but he refused to allow the woman he had once abandoned to easily control the entire empire. The Crown Prince's actions finally made him determined to demonstrate his authority at this crucial moment.
