On the rewards for successfully defeating a boss

Chapter 92 The wind blew through his hair, and his new life

Simon is a very passionate person, burning like fire and crackling, and like fire he can pass on the warmth to others.

In just this short drive back to the apartment, Chen Qian's emotions were actually carried behind the car and dissipated completely along with the exhaust gas.

Arriving at the door of the apartment, he got out of the car. Looking at the small red brick building in front of him, Chen Qian felt a magical feeling in his heart.

In front of the building was a green lawn that looked neat, as if it had just been mowed. At the base of the wall was a row of flower beds decorated with wooden strips, filled with plants of various shapes, several of which had purple flowers.

The high brick wall is covered with a layer of green ivy, and the arched windows with a strong European style are colorful stained glass windows. In front of the windows protrudes a small bay window painted copper, and flower pots are placed on several bay windows by residents.

Chen Qian took a bunch of keys and a small card with the specific address of the room on each floor from Simon. He said: This new home starts from the steps in front of the lawn. It would be best if Chen Qian walked in front to feel the feeling of walking into this house for the first time.

Chen Qian held the keychain and looked at the piece of paper.

This is really a ritual, and only someone like Simon could come up with it.

It even gave Chen Qian the same feeling as before, when he had completed a story mission in a game and then received the mission reward to continue to the next mission story.

After he stepped onto the stairs, Simon really didn't disturb him. He just helped him carry his luggage and followed quietly behind him.

Chen Qian identified the house number and after walking through two doors, he stopped in front of the door No. 303 with a metal house number in floral script. He turned to look at Simon, who nodded to him.

The door was slowly pushed open by Chen Qian, and light shone through the colored glass on the window onto the ground in front of the door, reflecting a large colorful pattern.

The furnishings in the house are relatively simple, with not much else except basic furniture.

The off-white wallpaper shines brightly under the sunlight. Cabinets and low tables are mostly natural wood with a matching white hue. Several doors open in different corners of the living room, the white doors adorned with delicate floral carvings. A light green or mint green sofa sits to the right of the living room, with a small coffee table in the center.

"You can take a look. Chen Tian told me that you would probably like this fresher style and color." Simon walked in behind him and said with a smile.

"It's pretty good, especially the glass of the window, it's really beautiful." After Chen Qian opened the door, it was like opening a treasure chest. The tones were comfortable and bright, and there were many colors but none of them were too eye-catching. His eyes moved from here to there, dazzled.

"This is a characteristic of this street, a beautiful legacy from who knows what era." Simon crossed his arms and looked around the house. "If you need anything, please feel free to contact me, furniture or anything else."

"Well, thank you. I will make good use of this room." Chen Qian sat down on the sofa. The sponge was very soft and wrapped around his sinking body.

Simon seemed very happy to see that he was so satisfied with the house. After pulling him aside to explain some of the history of the street, it was finally time for him to leave.

"Your language classes will start in a week. There's a box on the table over there with the phone numbers of nearby Chinese restaurants and my business card. You can use the card inside to make these calls."

"Okay, thank you, Simon."

"If Leslie wasn't still waiting for me at home, I would really like to stay here with you for a while longer."

"Me too. It's really nice to be with you. I'm glad to meet you."

"See you next time. By the way, I suggest you put a set of tables and chairs by the window." Simon reluctantly opened his arms to Chen Qian and gave him a hug to say goodbye.

"Perhaps I'll put on a show."

Simon turned around and went downstairs, still looking back at him every few steps. Chen Qian leaned against the door and looked at him, unable to help but smile. He waved again and said, "See you next time."

After closing the door, Chen Qian, who had become alone again, looked around the house.

The house was very clean, as if it had just been thoroughly cleaned a while ago. There was hardly any dust to be seen.

The kitchen had some new utensils and a set of stacked cutlery, all unopened, placed in the sideboard. A little further out was the oval dining table, a natural wood color, with four matching chairs, each covered in off-white cotton cushions.

The mattress in the bedroom was very thick, soft and elastic. Chen Qian lay down heavily on it, and his body bounced a few times.

If it were in China now, it would be around midnight, but he had slept for a long time on the plane and was not feeling sleepy at all.

The gauze-like curtains swayed slightly beside the half-open window, and the wind blew through his hair and his new life.
