The Bad Girl's Quick Transmigration System: Traveling Back and Forth
Chapter 454: Alia's Elegy
On the streets of the bustling Germanic Empire, sunlight streamed through the cracks between the buildings, but it couldn't dispel the chilling, bloody atmosphere that filled the air. Soldiers along the road shouted at the top of their lungs, their voices echoing through the streets and alleys with a kind of triumphant frenzy: "Alia, a Roman female soldier from the Great Zhou Dynasty, infiltrated our town to gather intelligence and was killed by our valiant Paladins. She is now being paraded through the streets as a warning to others!"
Arya's body was roughly tied to a crude wooden donkey cart. As the wheels rolled and jolted, her body lurched up and down with the cart's tremors. Her once-fair face was now covered in dust and blood, a few strands of messy golden hair plastered to her cheeks. Her eyes were wide open, a look of death, terror and resignation evident. She was naked except for the high heels worn by women of the Great Zhou (a key to her swift discovery, author's note).
The streets were lined with numb, indifferent people, some looking around curiously, others turning away indifferently, as if the scene before them was just a commonplace farce. Children, held in the arms of adults, watched all this with innocent eyes. Perhaps they did not yet understand the meaning of death, but only found the blood-soaked scene somewhat terrifying.
In the corner of the crowd, a little girl shone with a light unlike those around her. She looked at Arya, a strange pity welling up in her heart. She broke free from her mother's hand and ran towards the wooden donkey cart, trying to get closer to Arya. Her mother, terrified, chased after her and pulled her back, muttering, "She's an enemy! Stay away from her!" The little girl stubbornly replied, "She's a human being too! She looks so pitiful."
Alia was a rising star in the Roman army. From a young age, she displayed extraordinary courage and fighting talent, training diligently in the Roman barracks and emerging victorious in countless battles. Deeply devoted to her country, she accepted this dangerous reconnaissance mission without hesitation for the glory and benefit of Rome.
Disguised, she infiltrated the town of the German Empire alone. In that unfamiliar and dangerous environment, she carefully gathered intelligence. In the brothel where she was lurking, she had just received the intelligence and was about to evacuate when she realized it was a trap set by the German Marshal. Two three-star paladins blocked her path. She didn't care about the red bellyband and red briefs she was wearing, and immediately drew her dagger and fought back. Initially, the two three-star paladins were no match for her, but four four-star paladins, using invisibility spells and cloaking techniques, lurked in the shadows, waiting for the final blow. As she leaped up to stab one of the three-star paladins, they attacked simultaneously, leaving Arya unprepared. Two longswords pierced Arya's breasts, pinning her to the wooden door behind her. Then, the swords of the other two four-star paladins followed suit, one piercing Arya's throat, the other through her navel. The two longswords and the longsword that had pierced her navel, three sharp blades pinning her to the wooden door. Finally, the paladin who had pierced her throat thrust his sword forward again, piercing her throat to the hilt. Arya spat out a mouthful of blood, reluctantly exhaled her last breath, her tongue lolling from her lips as she expired. Warm liquid flowed between her legs, trickling down her thighs, witnessing Arya's tragic end!
To the Germanic soldiers and civilians, Arya was their enemy, a source of bragging rights. They paraded her through the streets to publicize their victories and serve as a warning to those who would invade the Germanic Empire. But in Arya's heart, she was simply fulfilling her duty, fighting for her court, her people, and the unification of the Great Zhou.
As the wooden donkey cart receded, the crowd gradually dispersed. The little girl gazed in the direction Arya had departed, silently praying for her. In this world rife with war and hatred, Arya's life was as fleeting yet dazzling as a shooting star. Her story may be forgotten, but her courage and sacrifice will forever be etched on that blood-stained land, a silent elegy that speaks to the cruelty of war and the struggles of human nature.
The other Germans were constantly abusing Arya. After all, as enemy scouts, they were the most hated by the hostile camp. The intelligence they stole would cause countless soldiers to be killed, countless families to be separated, and their homes to be destroyed. So the humiliating words such as bitch and slut kept coming out of the German people. Some middle-aged women even beat Arya's naked body with wooden sticks to vent their anger.
The Germanic people all had their eyes wide open and their faces were ferocious, and they kept cursing Arya. Their voices were as loud as thunder and deafening.
"Bitch!" a big man with a fat face roared, and his saliva splashed on Alia's face.
"Bitch! You damn scout!" A man with a pointed face and monkey cheeks swung his fist and hit Alia hard.
"You killed our loved ones!" An old woman cried and wailed, beating Alia's naked body with a wooden stick, each blow filled with endless hatred.
"You've destroyed our family!" A middle-aged man gritted his teeth, his eyes flashing with anger, as if he wanted to eat Alia alive.
The Germanic people's curses surged like surging waves, each wave higher than the last, deafening. Their emotions were like a ignited powder keg, becoming increasingly agitated and uncontrollable. Their actions became increasingly violent as their emotions spiraled out of control, as if they had lost all reason.
Some people kicked Alia fiercely, each kick was filled with endless anger and hatred; some people picked up stones on the ground and smashed them at her mercilessly. The sound of stones hitting flesh was creepy; even worse, some people pulled out knives from their waists and cut her body coldly. Blood spurted out like a fountain, staining the ground red and forming a shocking pool of blood.
Alia's body was shaken by the violent beating, and her face was so badly damaged that it was difficult to recognize. Her once fair skin was now covered in blood and dirt, and the wounds were horrible.
However, the Germanic people's anger did not subside. They continued to torture Arya cruelly, as if they wanted to tear her into pieces. Each beating was accompanied by more vicious curses, and each attack caused Arya to suffer great pain.
"You devil!" a young man roared, his eyes filled with hatred and despair.
"You should go to hell!" a woman screamed, her voice filled with fear and anger.
The Germanic people's emotions were completely out of control, and their hearts were filled with hatred for Arya. At this moment, they had forgotten their identity and humanity and turned into a group of crazy beasts.
The wooden donkey cart was still moving slowly forward. Alia's body had been violated by the people and was full of holes and blood. Her naked body had been violated by countless people in the street and she no longer had any dignity. Alia probably never dreamed that she would end up like this, dying in such a shameful way and being watched by onlookers!
